"We visited tonight for the first time because my family was in town and everything was absolutely delicious. It came out piping hot on a skillet, the presentation was appealing, the portion was hefty and the flavors were scrumptious. The restaurant itself can seat about 50-100 people so it's not very large in size but don't let that deter you from trying it out."

"Going to caveat that I'm from CA so my standard is a bit high when it comes to sushi. That being said, I was fairly satisfied with the quality I found here! We were a big party and ordered a large variety of items on the menu. From the sushi platters to the bento boxes, all the portions were huge and didn't leave anyone hungry. The service was great and handled our big table efficiently, all the food came out at a reasonable time. "We love this restaurant! We went around 7pm on a Wednesday, and were seated right away. The service is excellent and they are very attentive. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box and my husband got beef bulgogi bento box. When I say it's a bunch of food, trust me! There's sooooo much! Each box comes with your choice of 4 rolls, we both got the California roll, veggie and shrimp tempura, soup and salad, two crab cream cheese rolls, rice and your entree. All of the items were delicious! It was so much food, that we took all of our many entrees home. The leftovers were delicious too! The restaurant has plenty of parking, and a decent amount of tables. There is seating around the sushi bar too! We will be back!"

We went here bc my friend's daughter loves the salads for some reason.She ordered 2 kinds of sushi that was cut too thick, so she asked to have it sliced more thinly.My friend and I got bento boxes. They were pretty big. Tasty.The fried rice was just salty and just soy sauce not really fried. I had to ask to replace with reg white rice which was better.Their miso soup wasn't great either. I had to ask them to replace with an udon type of broth soup which was a heck of alot better.Not the greatest dinner for about $30 per person."

Nigiri and rolls were fine, it's not the best sushi I've ever had, but it's good, and I'd certainly come back for more. Well I went to night and what can I say they never miss. The food always comes out hot and delicious. I love their spicy basil rice, thai dynamite, the Tom yum soup... ahhhhhhh you can't go wrong with anything you order here.The service is always good and they are very affordable. The inside is kinda small but I've never had to wait to be seated. There drinks aren't overpriced either. I love it and you will too."

"A true hidden gem tucked away in an assuming plaza in Madison (located next to Longhorn steakhouse)! I've been here several times now, a couple times before their expansion and a couple after. While I can't give a review on the hibachi side- I have nothing but good things to say about their sushi! A friend introduced me to this spot pre pandemic and I have been hooked ever since. You will not find a spot that offers a better deal while also maintaining the quality of food! At least I personally haven't. Is this the absolute best sushi? Hard to say as ultimately we are landlocked here in Nashville, but none the less there's still good and bad sushi to be had. I prefer only the good kind but to each their own. Arigato has the good stuff when you combine the price point, taste and quality. Arigato offers an impressive variety of really creative rolls. You can also see pics on their walls which is very helpful visually speaking. I think this spot is particularly good for beginners as there are plenty of rolls that are not raw yet still has lots of good raw options. I personally like both so I appreciate their offers. Moreover, Arigato is the only menu I have come across offering a choice in the rolls you want for your sushi combo meal! Meaning you have a list of rolls to choose from for a certain price point. I.Love.This. sooo much! Most sushi places will offer a combo but on their terms, such as a California with either philly, spicy tuna/salmon or alaksan roll - for example. For me I like picking from their Arigato special sushi menu- either two or three rolls for under $25 (a steal!)The price point honestly can't be beat when you choose one of these combos. A la carte, the rolls are similar to any other place you might find sushi. The deal really lies within these combos. Beyond sushi, I can tell some of their other hibachi or bento combos are also decently priced as well.Lastly, the service has always been pleasant here. All the ladies are alway kind and attentive. No complaints here. Also, it's never been too bad of a wait time either. I can't wait to go back. Don't wait. Bring your fellow sushi loving friends/ lovers/ family. You won't be disappointed."

I didn't really care for the texture. The mixed vegetables was good too. The server was able to make recommendations of menu items and he was nice."

"Like others, this is our go-to Chinese restaurant in the area. I believe the owners are Taiwanese as there are a ton of Taiwanese style dishes on the menu. Speaking of which, we've never had any of the American style Chinese dishes on the menu so if that's your thing, I can't help with that. But their traditional ("authentic") dishes are all quite good... and not just Memphis good either. This food could stand up to any city in America.We've been there several times at this point. My favorites are the Taiwanese "snacks": fried pork chop or chicken over rice, pork over rice, etc. Also love their pork meatballs, pork and taro dish, pickled cabbage soup, singapore noodles, etc...I suspect there's not a bad dish on the menu. Service-wise... I'm not a fan. Same with the general ambiance (long waits while they service take-out, host watching tv while we eat, etc.)... It's unprofessional. But the food... you gotta love it."

It's a small hibachi restaurant with non hibachi tables. The service is always fast and friendly. This was the first hibachi restaurant we visited when we moved to the area and been back many times. We have tried quite a bit of the sushi rolls. The chuck norris needs a little work. We have tried this at another local sushi restaurant and it wasn't close to the taste. Other than that all the food is great. It would be nice to see the owners spruce up the place to make it look a little more inviting but who knows. The word is they have been there for 20+ years so I don't think they have any desire to upgrade."

It was really good and had a good amount of mushrooms and onions to make it flavorful. Next, I had the Dynamite Roll. It was super good and filling. So much so I couldn't eat all of my lunch. I could have gotten the 4 rolls, but I didn't know how big the full would be. So, if you are sharing this is definitely enough for two. For my lunch, I have the steak, rice, and veggie hibachi. My steak was medium well and packed with flavor. The rice and vegetables were the same. I literally didn't need any additional sauce for it. The service was really great and it wasn't crowded during that time."

I do wish I had more excuses to come here.The fried rice is what I remember! Recently Stix's fried rice has seemed to have gotten way more basic but Osaka has really stepped theirs up!! For example, Osaka uses seasoned butter, vegetables, egg, soy sauce, and chicken in their rice. Stix only uses egg and soy sauce now. The difference is very clear and I now prefer Osaka! I also LOVED Osaka's sushi. Talk about having sushi for days- my only complaint is I wish they'd make it easier to tell which rolls are deep fried and that they'd make the menu easier to open. I don't mind a huge menu, but one that I have to spread over two seats is not good.I have to admit, the chicken hibachi wasn't as good as I was hoping for, but I really liked the shrimp. I wish they had some spicy sauce besides sriracha to add to my food, like chili paste. But I guess I'll just get shrimp next time instead. The sushi though was great! I may also just stick to getting sushi here instead of anything else.The Yamabuki rill is so good but it's so big it's difficult to fit into my mouth in one bite. I have jaw problems so I might just have to cut this one in half. It turned out to be a not very long wait and she put our dinner orders in when the roll was almost out so things flowed smoothly for the dinner.Fire Dragon roll was really good, such a nice crunch and the avocados were perfect with the Salmon etc. I ordered a Shrimp Teriyaki Bento box with Vegetable Tempura, Fried rice and California roll. Everything was so good and freshly cooked when it arrived at the table. Vegetables Tempura were fresh from the fryer hot and so tasty! I could probably make a meal of just those. The Shrimp Teriyaki was fresh and delicious also. The Bento Box is a lot and I couldn't finish but fortunately there were others in the party who helped me out. Service was great and they were busy! Again, why have we waited so long? Great spot!"
