"Excellent choice! Our first visit and it's a new favorite! We loved the 4 dishes we ordered and the service was outstanding! We couldn't have enjoyed a family dinner more. Food-5 star Food was quick and delicious-all levels of spiciness are available. My favorites were the butter chicken and lamb vindaloo. The garlic naan was done just right -hot but not dried out. The rice pudding was a perfect end to a great dinner. Service -wish I could give more than 5 stars ! Unbelievably helpful with our choices, all levels of spiciness available. The manager and staff made the whole evening an exceptional experience. Facility 5 - clean, neat, plenty of space, tables and booths available, cloth napkins, adequate parking in front lot Location 5 star -easy to find in a busy shopping area, We will plan to return when we are in town again."
"This Indian restaurant offers delicious food and a lunch buffet that looks amazing. Although I could only try one item from the buffet, my husband said everything on it was delicious. Instead, I ordered the garden vegetable and mango dish from the menu, which was incredibly tasty and perfectly spiced. The service was excellent, with frequent water refills and quick plate clearing. The restaurant is nicely decorated in an Indian style, and the music added to the enjoyable atmosphere. The only downside was the challenging parking in front, but there might be more parking available at the back. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for its tasty food and great service."

"Loved this restaurant! The service was quick and the food was great. I would highly recommend going here. I loved the large selection of items to choose from, not just your standard butter chicken and tikka masala. Honestly, the tikka masala was my least favorite. I loved the green chili chicken (can't remember the name of the dish) and the mango chicken. Would recommend sharing the mango chicken and pairing it with another savory dish because it was quite sweet. The chili chicken was cooked perfectly. Spice level here is on par with the culture. If you don't like things hot, get the mild. Medium was great for me because I like some spicy, but anything more than that would have been too much I think. Their chutneys were great too. 10/10 would recommend."
"I finally got to introduce my boyfriend to Indian food! This was just the place. It was busy the whole time we were there (weeknight), both at the tables and with people grabbing to-go orders. The Chai was hot (really hot-we both added ice from our water), but once it cooled down was very good. It was served light, so either they added some kind of creamer or used a powder mix, but it wasn't sweet so that was good. They brought out sugar with it to add your own sweetness. Veggie Samosas - we had to get these, and I'm glad we did! They were really good, had nice flavor, and the sauces were great, too. He tried the Butter Chicken - it was mild and he liked it though even mild he thought was right on the cusp of being spicy (we had different opinions on that - I thought it was definitely mild) but we both really liked it. It reminded me of an Indian vodka sauce, maybe? Very rich and really filling.I had the Navataran Koorma (Veggie curry) and that was lovely. Mine was medium heat and that's about where I'm good; it still has all the flavor and it takes a few minutes for my nose to realize what's happening hahaGarlic Naan was amazing, and we got some butter naan to go. (FYI-It reheated well in our air fryer!)"
"We went for a much needed special lunch. The food was very tasty. It was bursting with flavor and not overly hot. The service was good. They filled our water and the food was fast. The bread appetizer was delicious. It was great to go into an air conditioned place. Well decorated too. I'm not sure about parking because we walked over. We brought our leftovers home and I can't wait until tomorrow to eat them."
"Easily the best Indian restaurant closest to Hendersonville that I have tried. The menu had some hilarious misspellings, but they unfortunately scratched them out in the menus we had the last time. It was always fun to see them Service is always great. They are super friendly and attentive. Always willing to give a suggestion.Garlic Naan: I cannot order enough. I'm addicted and you will be too!Chicken Tikka Masala: So good. The portion is always huge, easy to share. I won't share but maybe you are a better person than I am. I always get it mild and they actually keep it mild. The dish is so flavorful and perfectly balanced.I honestly should eat here more often. Definitely give this place a try!"
"The lunch buffet is an absolute 5 star experience for sure! It's nothing fancy, but it's everything you need. There are always several main options (chicken tikka masala, lamb meatballs, chicken curry, etc.) and tons of sides with a few dessert options as well. There is certainly enough to make a meal plus a few, and while the taste isn't as incredible as their entrees for dinner, it is really solid. I've never had anything bad or close to it, and I'm certainly full when leaving. The service is efficient and kind of catchall; they certainly get the job done. Our waiter was really nice to our three year old and even gave him a little mango drink at the end as a nice treat. We've been before but hadn't been in a while, and we will definitely be back!"
"I tried out the weekend buffet and was not disappointed. Before dining here, I stopped by 2 other Indian restaurants to see what they had on their buffets. Out of the 3, Curry Bowl had the better variety for me. I only eat from the vegetarian side, so the meat side was irrelevant to me. The restaurant felt homey and the service was good. They were quick to discard dirty dishes from my table and left am entire pitcher of water on the table for me. The place appears to be a small, family owned business with authentic Indian dishes and flavor. The weekend buffet is a bit more expensive at 16.99 because of the bigger variety. The weekday buffet has less options but also cost a few dollars less. Also, they are closed on Tuesdays. The taste of the food was good and exceeded my expectations. As of now, this is my go-to Indian restaurant for a weekend buffet."
"I've been hearing about this place from local friends for years but never had the right chance to try it out till today. Ordered the chicken tikka Masala. It was very delicious and the mild is VERY mild, so next time I'll order medium heat and give that a try because it was missing a tiny bit of oomph for me personally. The garlic naan is phenomenal! Super fragrant and delicious, but also not the traditional naan bread I am used to. This was more like a lavash type of bread. Not sure if that's how it's supposed to be or not, but this is the first time I've seen this specific type from an Indian restaurant. I also ordered the raita, which is a sour/yogurty type of creamy white sauce/dip with grated carrots, greens and some sort of pickled item I couldn't figure out yet. I wasn't a fan of this. I think maybe it's just a personal preference thing, but raita isn't for me. Overall, I would definitely recommend giving this place a try. I'll be ordering from here or coming here again soon!"
"These samosas here are fire! Sadly that's all I got during my visit, but I can guarantee you if you buy a few of these crispy flavor pillows you'll be in snack heaven. I ordered the veggie samosas filled with potatoes, chickpeas and spices. They do offer samosas with chicken, but I decided to go veggie this time around. This location is offering both indoor and outdoor dining and to-go options as well. Plenty of parking and a friendly staff. Get here ASAP!"
"Food was good, I will say that it was served piping hot had great flavor and the portion was generous. I was eating there at lunchtime mid week on my own and I have to say the Service was adequate but nothing to be thrilled about. I was seated. Wasn't asked or offered a drink choice, they just brought me a glass of water. Food came out in a timely manner. As for ambiance, there was no Indian music playing no Bollywood on the TV it was just really quiet. I am sure in the evenings and weekends it is probably better but weekday lunchtimes are really quiet."
"Food and service is always good! The only Indian food near me. Butter chicken, goat curry, garlic nan bread and my fav appetizer is the Samosa is the best! I really miss their buffet, but it's gone for good they said. I hit this place up at lease once or twice a month."

New Years Eve 23 and no reservations anywhere! But yu want a fantastic meal? Who cares about planning an evening and forethought? Clearly not me this year! Good thing we have House of India to the rescue! Once again - Above and beyond expectations for this gem in the Franklin / Brentwood areas.Ambiance -Traditional indian (but with Linens on the table) and a lot of traditional decorations with some light music in the background making it very quaint and comfortable.Service-Top notch - from the greeting at the door, to being seated right away, and everyone is always anting to make sure you have an amazing experience here. Food-Again, Top notch. From the appetizers and dipping sauces to the main dishes. I have the Chicken Tikka (dry) and my wife had the Chicken Tikka Masala (the sauce is to die for)....Both are excellent and favorite meals here most eery time we visit. The garlin nann is also amazing. Everything about House of India on the menu I am sure stands out...next time Butter Chicken!I also had a King Chakra beer and it was a very good lager and typically I'm only an IPA snob guy,...so theres that!Summary-GO HERE, EAT ALL THE FOOD. LOVE ITKeep Munching!!!

Bombay Palace is an iconic staple of not just good authentic Indian food in Nashville, but also phenomenal service! When dining-in, every table automatically gets a tray of condiments to complement the complimentary serving of Papadums. The menu boasts a huge variety of North Indian dishes that will satisfy even those with the most restrictive dietary needs. Pescatarians, Lacto-vegetarians, Vegans or if you have non dairy requirements can all be met easily with modifications.A dish that I've fallen in love with at Bombay Palace is known as Chicken Methi. The Methi (Fenugreek leaves) gives a distinct flavor and the creaminess makes the dish just melt in your mouth. If you prefer non cream based dishes, there are coconut cream or even cashew based curries that you can request.A meal is not complete without an order of Naan which is a type of bread that is cooked in a tandoor oven. Depending on your preferences, you could try just plain, butter, chilli or Garlic Naan which is my favorite! Bombay Palace is also known for their Lasso which is a yogurt based cooling drink to wash down the spicy dishes. Try their Mango Lassi and you can't be disappointed! Ending the meal with Gulab Jamun which are fried balls of dough soaked in a sugary solution is the perfect desert in my opinion. I must add that despite the awesome quality of food you get at Bombay Palace, it's nothing compared to the service of the wait staff! If you ever get to be served by Manish or Rinku, then you'll understand that you must bring your A-game to join in the playful banter that awaits their regular customers. You won't regret making Bombay Palace a regular pit stop. Guaranteed!

Is it fully authentic? Nope. Do I still love it? Absolutely! The weekend lunch buffet at Taj is hands down one of my favorite comfort meals in Nashville. 11-2:30 pm Saturday and Sunday, $13 of (primarily) Americanized Indian food. The new Taj location is a dream: plentiful parking, beautiful spacious interior that means even when they are slammed, they probably have an extra free table.I tend to go on the earlier side of lunch for less of a crowd, and they always seat us quickly and have plenty of options for the pure vegetarian or meat adventurous. My favorites on the buffet items are typically their off-menu items that seem to only appear at the buffet: the mushroom Manchurian, moong dal, and any vegetarian palya have been consistent favorites. I can also never resist the chicken 65 or butter chicken. They add so much unnecessary red dye to their meat items but they are still so addictively tasty. Service can be hit or miss here; sometimes (even if not busy) it's the end of my meal before I see my plate of fresh naan but when serving a dining room this large, I think some of that is to be expected. Please plan to need at least a two hour nap after your meal - but it's all well worth it.

My favorite Indian place in Mount Juliet. My go to is the goat Vindaloo and a mango lassi. Literally the best mango lassi in all of the land. Lol maybe not, but it's very good. The mango flavor really comes through. Service is always very consistently good. Plenty of parking in the strip.

Take out: I called on Sunday to place an order for takeout and I was hella impressed! - food was ready exactly on their estimated time. It was waiting for me when I walked in. - food was so tasty! I ordered lamb curry and lamb fraziee and they were both amazing! You choose the heat from 1-10 and 7 had a good kick! - tip: if you call in and order/pick up prices will be about $5 less per entree compared to ordering on a delivery app.

Sorry I didn't take any pictures. I really wanted to try something new for dinner tonight, so I thought, why not try something you've never had. I read the reviews, did some research online, and decided this was what I wanted. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint. I ordered delivery through Grubhub, and I live on the edge of Hendersonville and Gallatin. The food was packaged wonderfully. No spills and my food was still hot when it got here. I started with the vegetable samosa. It came with the yogurt dressing and some tamarind sauce. Both were delicious. I've never had tamarind before. Let me tell you, the sauce was so amazing that I could've just drank it all by itself.I also got the papadum with onion chutney, green chutney, and sweet tamarind chutney. It was all yummy, but in my opinion, the papadum is so delicious on its own that the chutneys are just a bonus.I got the butter Naan. It was good but not buttery at all. It was the perfect vessel to dip into my curry.Lastly, I got the goat curry. Hear me out. You never know until you try, and everything I read online it is similar to lamb. I love lamb, so it's a night of new I got the goat. Super tender, rich, delicious, and held up to the curry sauce perfectly. I highly recommend you give the goat a try, you won't regret it. The meal came with rice. It was fluffy, light, and delicious. The only thing I actually ate all of was the samosas. I have so much food left that I'll get at least 2 more meals out of it. The spice level was manageable. My lips did burn a little after I finished, but it was worth it. I'll need an extra prilosec tonight, but I will gladly order again and try more of this amazing food. I drive by here on my way home 4 nights a week. I just might need to stop in and eat there. I have nothing to compare this to other than the fact that it's just darn good food, and you really should give them a try.

This is such a quaint place that is very spacious and has such a nice vibe. I love the decor. It is a great place for a large party for sure.SERVICEThe service there is very welcoming and kind. I've read from other reviews that this is family owned. I've been to some family-owned establishments, and they have proved that hospitality is not synonymous to ownership, lol. I'm happy to know that they are very kind and like to give samples for you to try so you can get more of an experience than what you are just safe with.I got the butter chicken and the Samosas. I also had the Garlic Naan. All of my food was to go, and I'm happy to say the food traveled well. I love the spice level they recommended as well. This is a great upgrade from the Bombay House restaurant off Germantown. I haven't gone there in years because of their health scores, and I kept having dirty glasses smh. This is a definite upgrade from that restaurant!

Best hidden gem I have found in a while! Actually my husband found it out from a work buddy and suggest I try it. So glad I did! I've had 2 other Indian places in the past and surprising to me, I've really enjoyed this type of food. This place has been the best so far.The place doesn't look like much on the outside and it's simple on the inside, but don't let that fool you. The employees there did not say much, but made sure our empty plates were cleared when needed. They also had food coming out constantly to replace empty trays at the buffet. Being as I'm still new to trying Indian food, I am so glad this was a buffet and I got about 1-2 bite size servings of almost everything offered. I don't remember a lot of the names, so I can't pinpoint what I liked the most exactly, but there was a spicy chicken I believe called "555-chicken" and it was so tasty. The spice was just right that you get the heat, but it's not over powering. I'm pretty sure I had a tofu dish, it had a green sauce on it. It was a little bland, but the sauce gave it some good light flavor. Im not a vegetarian, but it's worth mentioning that they did have several vegetarian dishes available, clearly labeled. The dosa surprised me. It reminded me of a crepe and I dipped it in a few curries, but oddly enough I loved it with the mango custard. The Gulab Jamun are delicious! Can't leave without having 2-3 of those juicy desserts. Oh, and try the carrots!!! You won't be disappointed. I need the recipe so I can get my kids to eat carrots. There were a couple things that taste odd to me, but nothing that wasn't edible. This little place is now our go to for curry!

"Good Food, Moderately priced. We were just in the area craving for some indian food and ran into Curry House, and we are definitely satisfied with the service."
"This place has that great hole in the wall feel to it. It has biryani in the name so that's what I get when I come here and I suggest others do the same! My husband is a Butter Chicken/Tikka Masala kind of guy so he got one of those when he came with me and the portion size was pretty small actually. He usually has enough to eat it the next day but he ate all of his in one go. However, my biryani was so huge it fed me for like four or more meals. It was huge. I did notice that when we ordered medium spicy the food wasn't spicy at all but when I asked for very spicy it came out really spicy. It was interesting. I know they have levels though I need to tweak which one works best for each dish for our taste buds. Both times I came I got Vijayawada Spl Chicken which comes with raita and gravy. The gravy adds extra flavor and the raita is great at cooling the burn if you get a spicy version. I wasn't fond of their garlic naan as it was really flat and kinda burnt. Hubby noted that the place wasn't as clean as he'd like- for example, the plates had some rice stuck to them that we removed and the naan tray had food splatter around the edges from previous meals. To try:- Pav Bhaji- Chicken Tikka Kebab- Malai Kebab- Gongura Chicken BiryaniLoved:- Biryani: Vijayawada Spl Chicken- Butter Chicken (medium spicy)- Side: Gravy- Side: RaitaOk: - Naan: Garlic"
"Little strip mall Indian restaurant. Menu items are not labeled as vegan or not but the person taking care of us knew exactly which ones were and not. He (Bobby) helped us order vegan items from the menu. We got the challa masala and a veggie curry, roti bread and a couple of veg somosas and the vegetable fried rice. We got the lowest spicy because of a friend that cannot handle spicy at all. It's all prepared fresh since we had to wait 30 minutes for our order. Staff was courteous and knowledgeable. Food was good. Sadly , too late I found out they sell lamb which is one of the items I try to boycott. So probably won't come again"
"Who knew that the best pizza was right under my nose here in Brentwood! And add an Indian restaurant no less. Ordered some margarita pizza here on a whim one night. Service was fast, pizza was ready for takeout in 10 minutes, it was hot and delicious. The sauce is nice and sweet and the mozzarella and basil or high-quality. The crust is perfection. Skip Papa John's and Domino's, the best pizza in Brentwood is right here."
"This spot is high on my list of places to eat inside the Nashville Farmers Market.I went with the samosas, veggie rice, chili chicken and the chicken tikka masala. This food here is amazing and the portions are generous. The veggie rice isn't spicy at all, which I'm thankful for because the rest of the meal had some heat! The chili chicken was sooo good, I could have eaten a bucket of this stuff. Deep flavors, tender chicken and good heat without the burn. The tikka masala was a classic choice and it did have a tiny bit of heat even though the meat had zero chilis next to it on the menu. The samosas here are huge and totally worth the money. You get two for about $5 and these could easily be a meal... well maybe a shareable appetizer? These are a great vegetarian option. Looking for some good Indian food for lunch? Don't sleep on Swagruha!"
"Had been really looking forward to a first chance to try Bayleaf, and ended up a little disappointed. Chicken Tikka - the sauce had a nice flavor, and ordering spicy was a really perfect level of heat for me. But in a pretty good sized bowl there were only 3 small bites of chicken and a few pieces of onion. It was literally all sauce. Perhaps they're trying to keep prices lower. Just know when you order, you're really ordering a nicely flavored sauce to pour on some rice and naan. The Chicken 65 was fun small pieces of seasoned fried chicken. By itself, ordered medium, it was pretty bland. But tossing some of the 65 into the tikka really helped fill out the tikka, so all in all the two dishes worked out. Chicken briyani got a very good review, a huge portion that made for a big dinner and a large lunch the next day. Naan made a good addition to both the tikki and biryani. Overall we won't rush to revisit, but giving them a benefit of an extra star because they're clearly the best Indian in Spring Hill."
"First visit here. We were seated right away. Waitress was very nice. She told us the specials, and more popular dishes. They also have wine a a few cocktail/liquor options. We ordered the biryani boneless chicken medium heat and butter chicken with butter naan bread. Let me tell you it was all delicious! I had to make myself stop eating so I wouldn't be miserable! I plan on coming back next week!"
"I definitely recommend this place. The food was delicious. I really enjoyed it. You got to like Indian food and I love Indian food. This was all good quality. Hot food. The service was awesome for this to be a family-owned business. They helped me with what I would like to eat, and help me order and kept my water full. Hey made sure if I needed any dessert or anything I wanted they were there for me. And the ambience can be romantic. You come at the right time of the day is quiet. It's peaceful. You and your lady can sit there and have some wine they do look like a full bar to me. It's good I can't beat this place. The price is up okay for where they are in Niagara Falls."
"This place is so cool. I came here with friends and we sat in the area with the cushions and pillows. We had a blast. And we loved all the food we ate. I honestly was having too much fun to pay attention to what was what but I didn't dislike anything I tried. I also would love to come back and try some more things! This was a great experience and me and my friends all loved it. To Try: Drink: Nagpur LassiLoved: - Appetizer: Papad- Naan: Garlic Liked: - Daryaganj- Makhani- Drink: Mango Lassi- Indori - Kofta Lamb- Jalandari Kadai Chicken"
"Excellent Excellent Excellent! Outstanding barbecue, great biryani and pretty much everything else. Run don't walk to this place! Two thumbs way way up!!"
"Great food! Went at 5pm on a weekday and was seated fast and received food only 10 minutes after ordering. I was very satisfied with the chicken biryani, which had an entire seasoned chicken leg in it! Yum! The garlic naan was very flavorful and the butter chicken gravy was also great. Love how the interior of the restaurant looks too."
"Heard this was place was new and decided to give it a try. We went for lunch buffet on Saturday and had an amazing lunch. Every dish in the buffet was tasty and delicious. They maintained the place well and service was good. They have a small buffet but I the food was tasty. It's good that they tried to maintain the flavors and not go crazy in the items count. I hope they keep the flavors the same and maintain them well for long time. I would definitely recommend this for now. I will update the review if they loose touch but the food we had was delicious."
"New place in town, so we checked it out with no Yelp reviews to go off of ... GREAT decision! Lunch buffet was only $12.99 About a dozen options on the day that we went; food was fresh and delicious, and the Mango Lassi was very nice"
"I made my own bowl with chicken, masala rice, and tikka masala curry. Very enjoyable! My boyfriend made his bowl with chicken, lamb, masala rice, korma curry, and saag spinach curry. His was good too. All three curries we tried were very tasty and we will definitely be back for more."
"It's was good , bread is extra . I did take out. So don't really know about service. I got the spinach chicken with rice. I really like spinach ."
"Wonderful food, ambience and service... must try food is egg biryani, chicken 65 and gobi Manchuria..."
"Inside The Mediterranean Grocery store is this restaurant. It is clearly authentic (and delicious) Indian food, with spiciness geared toward Indian customers. If you're not used to that much spice, let them know you need yours milder."
