"Unexpected little gem of a place. I have to admit I judged a book by its cover and this time I was supremely wrong. When we arrived to stay at a near by place for a few days I saw this place and while it was crowded I overlooked it. I wrongly assumed it was busy because of its proximity to hotels and attractions, not because of their food or service. I was wrong on both accounts. Caney Fork is busy because they are good. We came here on our last night of our honeymoon to get some food after being out all day. The day before we had gone to their attached ice cream place and found that they were both family owned and since the restaurant offered wild game meat my husband was super interested in trying it. We came here before 5 on a Sunday so it wasn't packed with people and were greeted and seated super fast. Our server Red was awesome. He was personable and knowledgeable about the menu and gave great suggestions. We got the wild game platter and also the surf and turf. The wild game platter had fried gator, Cajun frog legs, elk patties and, wild game sausage along with their outfitter stew. The gator wasn't tough it was fried perfectly and had great flavor. The frog legs were tender and flavorful. The patties were a little dry but I imagine that in a burger they would be amazing and paired with the bbq sauce that came with them took any dryness away. The sausage was bursting with flavor and the stew reminded me of an Irish beef stew or a nice hearty winter stew. The surf and turf had an 8oz sirloin that was perfectly cooked and juicy. The shrimp was bbq grilled and bursting with flavor. The sides were had were the campfire potatoes that had a great crunch and the onions only complimented the flavor. And the deep fried cheese curds were not overly greasy and had the perfect melted consistency. It was a fun dining experience. The restaurant is done amazingly with tons of fun things to see and to discover. The waterfall lake with fish were fun to be seated by and provided their own entertainment. Like I said before Red our server was awesome. Fun and funny and made it more of an experience. He wanted us to enjoy everything which is what exactly happened. Next time I am in the area I will definitely be back for the food and also the service. Check this place out for something fun for the family or a date or just for good food."

"There are a lot of chain places to eat, but this is locally owned and operated. I think the owner was actually walking around saying hi to tables. He didn't come off as management. This place was great in every aspect. It was clean, very fast (ate at 8:00pm), staff was super friendly and attentive, and the food was REALLY good. My waiter told me the rotisserie chicken was most popular for 17 years, so i went with that. Did not disappoint! It was VERY good, flavorful and not dry! Great slight smoke flavor too!"

"Okay I've been to Huey's downtown a few times since this review. And I'm here to say I still will not agree about the world famous burger BUT they have world famous flavored catfish and really tasty wings. AND the service is definitely world famous. I went in for lunch with my daughter today and Megan was my server. She was so kind to the both of us, very friendly and she didn't miss anything. She got really busy and still gave us great service. I really love going into Huey's now and it's definitely worth the trip. One star down cause the portions on the catfish are a bit small but the flavor is so good I'll probably keep getting them! Thanks Megan. If you don't like loud restaurants try and go for lunch during the week. Sometimes they play live music as well."

Its a seat yourself type of spot that does not allow outside drinks. Our server was very friendly and attentive. It was extremely busy. My only annoyance was I ordered a single HAMBURGER and her response was "you know it doesn't come with cheese, right"??? I may have been snappy with my "duh, that's why I ordered a hamburger and not a CHEESEBURGER" response. I was annoyed and concerned by the thought of ppl confusing the two."

I don't like that cut on breakfast potatoes and I wished my cheese was blended into my eggs, but eh. Pleasant experience still and very inexpensive, surprisingly. I'll be back sooner than later. Also realize it's "the depot" because it was originally a train depot AND there will be at least one train go by about 20 yards from the building so it will be heard! But it's a cool place and well worth it!"

"Go to Drakes. We've lived in the area for over a year and just discovered Drakes a month ago. We wanted takeout sushi, and Drakes was closest. You wouldn't expect sushi from what looks like a neighborhood bar when you walk in, but it was excellent. We returned this evening for dinner and to try dining in the bar. The food was great, but the real surprise was the amazing service. In most restaurants, the servers may be attentive, but they seem focused on their own tables. At Drakes, the entire staff worked as a team. If there were an empty dish on the table, whoever walked by would ask if we were done and then take it away. It was great to see such fantastic service. Mahni and her peers did a great job taking care of us, and we look forward to our next visit. Really, you should go."

"A group of us came in here on a Wednesday afternoon solely because of the goats. The food and the drinks are of average price for the area. Neither are anything to get too excited about. Irish bars aren't really known for their BBQ, but Silky's has it (my friends were not impressed).There is vegetarian option (veggie burger) which serves as the only veggie option besides sides and appetizers. It was truly just acceptable. The fries are decent. What actually makes this place memorable is the live music, and of course, the goats! These two lazy goats live in their little tower and amble down at will to graze and sun. They truly live a life of leisure. I think it was worth visiting here just to the rotund one waddle down the ramp."

Fried tomato was alright, didn't think it was anything special. Potato salad and coleslaw seemed to be unnecessarily sour, salad was fresh, mac and cheese was a bit watered down, could've done with more cheese that actually stuck on the noodles. Really liked the hot sauce, BBQ sauce was okay, nothing special. Overall fine, not very flavorful."

"There is a perk of spending too much time on social media; finding unique spots to visit. We were staying at the state park for the weekend and wanted to give Flamingo Road a try. The inside is going for a tropical vibe which fits but the decorations remind me of decorations you see in a kids play area. It was it what I was expecting but I honestly enjoyed it.Flamingo Row is known for their Fillymingos which is stuffed bread. I went with the 3 cheese roll which was insanely filling. I had 1 piece and was stuffed. The prices are also fairly cheap for how much food you get."

"Gotta love this place!!Small town burger joint in Franklin, TN amazing food, small town atmosphere and awesome staff. I just placed and order to go, which you'll have to do there as they aren't currently taking to go orders over the phone. It is really easy though, walk up to the counter (basically to the kitchen) and use the large touch screen to place your order, they make it really really easy to customize your food with their POS system. I got two Pioneer burgers to go with fries and they were all done and ready to go in less than 10 min. The staff was super nice, some young hard working gentlemen, and the place was clean and had a great small town diner vibe. I definitely recommend it here!"

We had the salads, shared a tamale order, chili, and cheese appetizer, then also shared the ribeye. It was huge and enough for 3 proper servings. Everything was delicious, steak cooked perfectly. Its not in tge most welcoming area at night but they employ a sheriff through closing so we felt perfectly safe."
