The service was great; we were greeted as soon as we walked in. I got biscuits and gravy with bacon. My husband got the Mamaw's Plate which had a giant biscuit, side of gravy, and he was so stoked to get fried bologna as a side! Our 16 year-old ordered a waffle with bacon. We all cleaned our plates and left happy! And the girls who worked there were so sweet! Bring cash to avoid the credit card surcharge."

Another in my group got a patty melt and thought it was too salty too. My husband got the take three meatloaf luncheon, he thought it was a little tasteless ( but he is hard to please, in all fairness). My sister in law had a chicken sandwich, she said it was fine but very plain. All in all , I would try something else there the next time I go. Service was good, the girl was attentive."

Brian F. "This place instantly reminded me of an old diner from my childhood. It used to be a gas station and has been converted into a small restaurant. It's a fairly small restaurant but they have booths and tables available. Smells like fries food inside and it's not fancy at all. They didn't do much to convert it from the gas station and many of what looks like old features of the gas station are still in the main area. Just about everything they offer is deep fried. We are on vacation and just picked a local place not knowing anything about it. We were a little surprised when we pulled up because it doesn't look like a restaurant from the outside. The staff was very kind and did a great job serving us. The food was good for what it was but I think it is a little overpriced. The double cheeseburger in the picture was $5.60 and the onion rings were $1.90. My Diet Coke was an additional $1.19. For almost $9, I would expect more than deep fried food and there weren't many onion rings for $2. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience but it is t really anything to rave about. There isn't much else around here so I'm sure this is a local favorite. If I lived here- I might come again but being in vacation, I would try other things before coming here again."

The bartender was super friendly and my husband and I enjoyed chatting with the locals very much. You get to watch the bartender/cook fix your food on the little grill that sits against a side wall with a two basket deep fryer beside it. As everything you get will be of some of the greatest quality you can buy from a food truck. I have yet to try everything but will be trying a lot of the menu items in the future. Eat at Eric's is always guaranteed to serve you a guaranteed excellent dish with great customer service that has rivaled many other food trucks I have explored in the Memphis area. The one thing I'm dying to try and wouldn't be disappointed is the chili. How I'll have it idk weather with the fries or by its self either way it's not going to disappoint. But what I think I would order would be the burger and that Chicago looking style hot dog to go with my chili fries. The prices are reasonable and menu diverse. I'd recommend Eat at Eric's to my family and friends. Outside there is covered seating with colorful lights and fans running. It was hot today so we stayed inside. We ordered two rebel burgers, onion rings and fries. The rebel burgers are fire and the best cheeseburgers we have had that DID NOT make the best burgers in the state list on al.com. I see why patrons in Lauderdale county spoke up proudly about the burgers at Marty's Stew Shack. The cheeseburgers are moist, hand patted and cooked with a lovely crust on both sides that sealed in the moisture. The onion rings are the best I have had in a very long time. We planned to go to the Freight House. But Atlanta traffic had us arriving 10 minutes before they closed. So we called Driftwood and their kitchen closed later. So we came. We have younger preteen kids. Not allowed inside. But it was nice weather and their outdoor area has bags, seating and really cool well paint d motifs. The bartender tonight was attentive, kind, funny and competent. We ordered two ribeyes, a stir fry and a basic grilled cheese. Everything was great. And. No fault to Freight House-dirt cheap by comparison. For the price it was one of the best ribeyes I've ever eaten. No need for steak sauce. The stir fry was delicious too. Even the simple mac and cheese side of was done great. Food wise they KNOW what they're doing. If I lived here I would eat here regularly and the locals seem to know that. Not a Freight House. Doesn't need to be. This was great. Complaints. Post your menu. Anywhere. Never mind. I did. Stipulate that it's 21+ only inside. We have kids. It was nice weather. But if it wasn't I'd be pissed."

Tina H. "This is just detailing the one and only experience here. Any fan of 'Married...With Children' that remembers the episode, 'Poppy's By the Tree', where they go on vacation in Dump Water, Florida will understand this experience a little better. (While on vacation the Bundy's are in a dive hotel, the sweaty cook comes out, picks at his armpit and Bud says, "I'll have a Coke. Unopened."). This diner building has been in this location for several years and there have been so many different people to have had ownership and put their own ideas and food selections here. It is a very high-traffic area being at one of the busiest intersections in Corinth (WalMart). The building is a bit hard to notice from a busy highway as it is just a really small (trailer-sized) building with rather dull paint color choices.  Our experience was within the first few days of opening and it was not a pleasant 45 minutes. It was a to-go order and the only other customers were seated at a large table, a group of 10, and all had their food. When seated at the tables you are not able to look into the kitchen/prep area, unlike standing at the counter waiting on a to-go order. The cook was sweaty and unkempt and not wearing a much needed hairnet as the fan blowing her hair would tell you. There were no gloves being worn by this person as she handled all aspects of the food prep, as well as her itchy and visible bug bites. The condiments (mayo in particular) were out in the open in a very hot environment.  This person did walk to the register (holding a burger wrapped in paper) and with an non-gloved hand rummaged through a box that held an assortment of clips and rubber bands until she fished out a toothpick and stuck it into the hamburger. Good news is, that wasn't our order. Bad news is, we still watched her prepare food. No hair net, no ponytail, no sleeves, no apron, no gloves and no clue about proper sanitary food prep.  I understand that this was a "grand opening" scenario and it may be a "family owned" business and all, but there is no way I'd eat the food after seeing how it was prepared. It was paid for in advance and had there not been such a shock factor in seeing the kitchen we would have just walked out. We did not eat any part of that food. I fed the cat the fries and I didn't even feed them the burger because of the open sores and sweat dripping onto the prep area. I broke it up and fed it to the outdoor critters.  Given, it has been a while since this day, they may have gotten a new and properly-trained cook and you may have a much more pleasant experience. I can't build the gumption to try again just yet. Knowing what I do, I could just see the cook and decide whether to dine in or walk out. I may give it a shot after the holiday is over. With my bad experience aside the variety of burger choices and combinations are pretty numerous and sound enticing. There are 20+ burger choices, chicken, hoagies and I'm sure new items are added throughout the months as they experiment with new flavors and combinations. Also, there are 15+ varieties of grilled cheese and macaroni and cheese as well. Hot dogs and smoked sausage pretty much makes up a menu that could please any meat-lover. Oh! and home fries! This is also a second location of the Summer Tyme Sno shaved ice, the other is the bright green building between Popeye's and Arby's.  The prices are very competitive and offer some lunch specials from $6.75-$8.50 and include a soup or fries and drink. I don't know if you can substitute fries on a soup day. The mac and cheese is made with at least 9 cheeses for $2.25 and $4.00. There is a "flavor town bite" that is a homemade cheese spread formed into a ball, double rolled in a combination of Panko, corn flakes and spices then deep fried.  There are catchy names like the Humpty Dumpty (2 eggs), Shotgun Willie (chili) and Dang it Boy (bacon). I have NO doubt that the food is great here because the burgers are made with fresh meat and not frozen patties. You can't get any more "comfort" food than a slew of cheese melted into macaroni noodles.  Yes, my one and only experience wasn't that great but I am not condemning the business as a whole. There are food laws in place to ensure you can get a meal prepared in a sanitary manner to prevent food-borne illnesses. Someone in that establishment must take a ServSafe test and prominently display that certificate, as well as, the food inspector's grade. I'm confident that with the amount of time that has passed since their Grand Opening--things in the kitchen/prep have changed."

Betty's is tucked away in the Richland District. After driving by it countless times we decided to stop. What we were about to experience was almost mind-blowing. For starters we met a poor man's Dan Deacon. He was super nice, soldered his own equipment and really put his soul out there. I gave him props! Unfortunately we did not get to hear him play, but we did learn all about his process. We were also introduced to a man who didn't know the difference between a really loud ear volume and speakerphone. What commenced was truly amazing. I can't get into details but it will be a night I will never forget. To the logistics, Betty's is a little more than a room/small house and it's smokey, very very smokey. The place is filled with regulars. We happened to stop in pretty recently after the flood and they were holding a fundraiser in the corner. This truly is a neighborhood bar.
