Ep. 81 of AntlantaEats Chef Vera is originally from Memphis (the obvious) and has been serving the Atlanta market for several years. Her location is currently in a shared kitchen (800 Forrest St NW).I went and got myself the Beef Brisket. It was chopped in pieces but folks...It didnt make a difference in taste! Fresh and flavorful! A bun is served in case you wanna make it a sandwich..the mac & cheese and Collard greens were lovely but here's MY HIGHLIGHT: The Banana Pudding!! One star shouldn't be the minimum. The food was delivered via Uber eats. So I expected the food to be ruffled or a little thinly served. But worse: We got: turkey leg dinner and bbq chicken dinner with extra side of potatoes salad This food is nasty! Under seasoned EVERYTHING. The yams were smothered in cinnamon water (yuck) The bbq wings were over cooked and hella dryThe turkey wasn't fully cookedThe beans were from a can and not even warmed upI was offended to feed myself and my man this mealDon't eat here.We threw the whole meal away.Terrible

The owners are really cool, mom and pops business..The smell of bbq smoke will draw you in and the taste will have you coming back for sure...

We've driven past the food truck a few times, usually on the way to pick up other food, and always talked about stopping because it smells AMAZING, but finally took the plunge when we saw (and smelled) it in a local parking lot. My husband got the rib tip combo and I got the pulled pork. Both were good, and the service was stellar, but maybe not my favorite bbq in the area. Both plates were drenched in sauce which was disappointing because the smokey flavor of the meat is the best part, but easy enough fix. The ribs were a little fatty but general good. I guess my biggest disappointment was with the pork, which was definitely more of a "chopped" than "pulled." Not the end of the world but definitely not what I was expecting.

Omg where do I start !! First off the staff was picked off the street!! The guy cooking was nasty and smoking while cooking. I know what you are thinking why didn't you leave!! It was at an event and I was craving bbq . Please please look at my brisket plate for $25

The owner is REALLY a super nice nice lady. I got some ribs and sides for me and the guys at workThe setup to order was weird and everyone there was waiting over an hour It's some kind of combined kitchen setup with other restaurants. We were not impressed. VERY salty and it tasted like liquid smoke versus the real deal. Parking is tight and limited We threw the food away. Not good.The next week I bought them ribs fromHerb's Rib Shack and they lost their minds. One guy had not had pork in 10 years was eating the hell out of them after smelling them and hearing others comment. No exaggeration. Ok

I just ordered from you on Uber Eats. It was horrible and over half of my food was missing. I ordered a burger with baked beans and potato salad. A combo with pulled pork, wings, potato salad and baked beans and a an extra side of Mac and cheese and peach cobbler. I got a cold pulled pork sandwich a side of wet Mac noodles with cheese melted on top, two containers of potato salad and a banana pudding. I really wanted to try and support a black business. I'm so disappointed in this experience with your restaurant.

We were really disappointed, the food was terrible, we both had the rib tips, they were really tough and dry, like beef jerky, the potato salad had no seasoning, the bake beans were okay, and the Mac and cheese tasted like the box Kraft Mac and cheese with added cheese... geeshhh, however the sauce is good. We are giving 2 stars all together 1 for the okay customer service and 1 for the food. You divas need to do better.

One star this food was nasty and I was so excited for it,but it disappointed. Mac and cheese was DRY. The broccoli rice casserole was mushy. The peach cobbler had not a lick of sugar in it. The banana pudding was watery . The rib tips were non existent like I got beef jerky with sauce on it

I went on a afternoon and no one was in there. It's on Old National and there are very few good restaurants on the Nat and this ain't one of them. I wasn't greeted until a few minutes after I walked into the establishment, but when they did, they were nice. As far as the food... this shit ain't it. I was so excited to try this new place and the pictures looked great. We started to order online, but the prices just weren't matching what was on the menu. I'm glad I went inside because my price went down to $50 from $100+ on the website. It was a good thing I did because they did not have some products that we wanted to order. The food was cold and tasted as if it was microwaved before given to us. The meats had no seasoning and were hard. The Mac and cheese was Kraft sprinkled with cheddar cheese and the collard greens just had no flavor. Lastly, The peach cobbler was not good either. It was super watery and tasted as if peach jam was put in it. I would not recommend going to this place. It was a total waste of money. I really wish I had a better experience.
