Memo's Hot Dogs

Quick, reasonably priced and quality food - it's really easy to grab and go here. Will add this place to my normal rotation

This place has been around for ages! I remember coming here with my family for burgers and hotdogs when I was a little girl. I still come for the best fries ever!!! Especially when they put the ketchup right inside the bag. So happy that now I get to bring my son here.

Stopped here while doing photowalk in Pilsen and reading about its troubles being closed down by the city. Had a simple Chicago dog (Vienna of course) with everything, sport peppers on the side. Owner apologized for the delay because the fries were being cooked (I wasn't in a hurry) and the absence of poppyseed buns (supplier had delivered them - no problem). Hot dog hit the spot and fries were excellent and not excessively salted. Dog and fries, tax and tip included: $6.00! Highly recommended, give these nice people some business!

I went with my standard dog fest- a Chicago dog all the way and a chili cheese dog with mustard and onions. This little hole-in-the-wall has been churning out dog greatness for over 27 years and my taste buds told me why.The dogs were delicious and the prices were down to earth, even for Chi town. The service was very personable and I loved my Memo's experience.Like the Terminator, I'll be back.

the food was good the only thing we didn't like was the fact that we weren't able to go inside to eat because they don't allow it anymore but it's good for a quick pick up food.

After all these years this place remains the best hot dog fast food place in the nation!!!Although they have changed owners and names the way of making the hotdogs Rama in the sameCrunchy, savory and prepped with love. Their philly cheese steak is soooo good it's savory, delectable and the cheese is so creamy just right amount of onions green peppers and amazing Gardiner after you have their philly steak you will never be the same others will not compare.

no thank you on the shrimp. It wasn't terrible, but could have been better otherwise, the fries were delicious and the sauce was very on point.

Thru the magic of Yelp, I discovered this place for authentic hot dogs. Finally came back for a burger, decided on a double cheeseburger- everything.Holy golden arches, a "double" is nearly a 1lb sandwich-- see pic. The clown has to rename is double patty. Tasted great!

Food is fantastic! You must get the cheeseburger and fries in a paper bag with ketchup!! Absolutely delicious!! The service is amazing! The folks that run the restaurant are very kind. It's a family joint. I love coming here for burgers.

Went to Memo's Hotdogs today had amazing food, great service, and good amount of food for what we paid, would recommend this place to anyone in or near the Pilsen area a true gem.
