Let's just start with the fact that this place has THE BEST SERVICE! It's a little bit hard to find if you're approaching from the south, but it is well worth the hunt. THE FOOD IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Brisket, links, and mac were delicious. This is not a place to miss.

Thanks to my Nephew I found this little Gem today, being the foodie I am I love great BBQ and this was great. Pulling up to the place I was a little septic but I went ahead and ordered anyway I wasn't disappointed. I had the rib sandwich they were cooked to perfection and nicely smoked the sauce was good too. My sister and Nephew had the 2 meat dinner ( ribs & Sausage) with BBQ beans, Dirty rice and Mac & cheese which was good as well, prices are great and definitely be going back..

Great BBQ! Homemade sausage is definitely a must try. The turkey leg is another item that makes this place unique. The price and quantity is worth the money spent.

It was ok. Simple as that. Meat cooked right but the flavor wasn't anything to write home about.

Don't judge a place by it's appearance. This is some of the best BBQ I've ever had with the best links in town. I highly recommend you try it out. They'll treat like family.

For the context of this review, please see my review for Triple-J's BBQ.Hit up MC's after a 4-1/2 star Yelp review, expecting to be blown away after a disappointing experience at Triple-J's. Came here on a Wednesday afternoon, but found that the place was closed and would be open the next day, Thursday, when I returned. This is a very modest place and easily missed unless you're specifically on the hunt. There is a small eating area with a few picnic tables under a shelter to the left. You place your order at a window facing the street. After ringing the bell and a short wait, an older gentleman opened the window and took my order, which he carefully wrote on a small pad. I told him I would wait at one of the tables and he should call me when the food was ready for pick up. I ordered the three meat plate with two sides: brisket, sausage, and chicken. Sides were Mac n Cheese and green beans. After a wait of at least 15 minutes - and I was the only customer - I went to the window, afraid that the gentleman might have fallen asleep over the smoker, rang the bell. He arrived a few minutes later and handed over my order in a styrofoam three-section container, along with two slices of Wonder Bread - which seems to be de rigeur as a BBQ ride-along.I opened up my meal, and here's what I found:Brisket - tough as nails. Really had a hard time eating it. Nice pink ring, but excessively chewy. Appeared to me to have not cooked low or slow enough. Chucked most of it.Sausage - Kielbasa again.Chicken - tender enough wings and drumstick, but overly slathered with gooey sauce.Mac n cheese - standard issue.Green beans - standard issue.Because this place was closed on Wednesday and I came back on Thursday, I had Wednesday's BBQ at Papa Charlies. That review is next.

Best bbq on the north!! Hands down!Don't look like much from the outside but the food is definitely great!I had the chopped beef baked potato and ribs with Mac n cheese. The Mac n cheese could've been cheese but other than that it was good.

I decided to try this place after reading the reviews posted on this site. I ordered the ribs and sausage. It came with potato salad and beans. The ribs weren't tender at all. There wasn't a lot of meat on the bones that I received. The flavor wasn't really good either. I don't know if they smoke their ribs or not, but it didn't taste like it. The sausage was ok. Not anything that you wouldn't get from any other BBQ place. The potato salad was the worst that I've ever had. Bland is all I can say about it. I won't ever go back. The BBQ at Dickey's tasted better and I really don't like Dickey's. So far, Triple J's on Homestead is the best that I've, but I'm sure there's better. I haven't been to a lot of BBQ places here because I like to get out in the backyard and do my own smoking. Nope, won't be going back here. One good thing I'll say about this place, the staff is friendly.
