McGinty's BBQ Best Thing Smoking

I love a good country feeling bbq place! The BBQ is amazing!! I got chopped beef sandwiches and peach cobbler. The brisket was so tender and the flavor was that good ole smoked brisket taste! My family recommended me to this place because they stay in the area. I set on the porch with the heaters listening to music relaxing! Customer service was amazing. Parking you just pull right in. Wait time is great for fresh food!

This is not a sit down restaurant. It is a BBQ shack and an outdoor patio. Mostly take out. The brisket cheeseburger was good. The Baked Potato stuffed with brisket was good. Huge portions so we had enough to take home for another meal. Good BBQ but nothing exceptional.

Gooood stuff and just what I needed after 6 months in new york. Brisket was tender and had a good bark. The chicken, my mother in law's order, was something we talked about all day. It was so juicy and flavorful. Plus it was like a half a chicken for 12.50. The sides were also all good. Between 3 of us, we had green beans, ranch beans, potato salad (mustard for the win!). It was hard to pass up the Mac and cheese but new years resolutions and all that stupid stuff. I could have gone for a thinner, spicier sauce but I'm nit picking here. The service was very hospitable and accommodating. The daily specials looked really intriguing (but I needed brisket).

A jewel on the way home. Very good food. Lots of flavor! Nice to have a place outdoors to sit outside and eat as well. Thank you for the hospitality. Green beans are amazing.

No frills but really good food. It is mainly a takeout place (but you will wait a good 10 minutes for the food). They have a patio with some picnic benches and I sat there (they have ceiling fans and they have heaters so it's not bad whatever the weather).1,2, and 3 meat plates range from about 15-20 bucks. I got a sliced brisket sandwich combo with potato salad and an unsweet tea (11 bucks - good deal). The sandwich was fantastic, very flavorful meet, a subtle sweetness to the sauce, and of course I got it with pickles and onions. The potato salad was what you would expect maybe a touch better. It looked small until I picked it up and it was jam packed with brisket.

Great food. The sides were awesome too. I got brisket and pork ribs. Baked beans and potatoes were over the top. Great service as well. Only downfall is it's outside and it's about to get HOT!

Really yummy chopped BBQ sandwiches. We also had a side of green beans, which I will definitely be back for, baked beans, and potato salad. We finished up with some of the best banana pudding I've ever eaten. The lady who took our order was super friendly and helpful. Definitely worth the drive. My only suggestion would be to use tubs for the sides instead of the hinged lid containers as they were a little leaky. Will definitely be back.

Food was well seasoned and freshly made. It was a little pricey for the type of restaurant, but the portion size was nice. Would definitely visit again if in the area.

I try BBQ everywhere I go and as often as i can... this moist sliced brisket was as good as I've found anywhere bar none, and it was piled high. Didn't try the sauce, didn't need it. Mustard potato salad was the way i like it too. Now I have to come up with reasons to pass through Navasota more often.
