Really enjoyed a dinner at Mazevo! Service was really nice - reservations are generally readily available so we got one a day in advance with no issues.Definitely recommend getting the appetizer platter as i think their spreads are the BEST! We also enjoyed the gyro plate. We also got the baklava for dessert which i highly recommend. Overall i can't wait to go back.

I hope this one isn't too long, but I honestly cannot say enough. I moved to CO a year and a half ago, and me and local restaurants are at odds. I am going to get more hate by saying I am wondering if CO knows what good food is... ANYWAY! This place is amazing by ANY measure (not just my lowered CO standards). Everything from the appetizers with pickled veggies and olives and hummus to our main meal which was chicken kabob. Absolutely over-flowing with flavors, and each one was different. I had to ask what was in the olives because they were spicy - - yet had a floral, citrusy, amazing subtle under-tone. Our server was new, we could tell. But super sweet and helpful and attentive. I absolutely cannot rave about this place enough. It put my faith back into the possibility of having amazing, affordable restaurant food again. I should also mention how reasonable it was. Did NOT break the bank, very, very reasonable and worth more than the money I paid. I will be back.

Came here on a Friday date night with a reservation at 5:30pm. We were sat up front by the large windows which was fun for people watching. The service was great- very friendly and knowledgeable. I really enjoyed the house Greek white wine and the server made a suggestion for the hubby's drink based on his taste. We shared the variety app plate which was a great combo of traditional snacks. I had the chicken kabob at the suggestion of the server and it did not disappoint! The chicken had such a great flavor and of the garlic paste/dip was amazing on the side of pita with some rice and grilled veggie. My husband got the lamb tajin at the recommendation of the server and while he likes lamb and the flavor it was more 'stew like' than he was looking for. That being said, he did eat all of it and the side of couscous. Now, for the whole reason I started this review, the baklava! It is the best in town. I'd venture to say it's the best I have ever had (and I try it at every Greek/Mediterranean restaurant I go to). It comes with two pieces and I had planned on sharing the other piece with my son when I brought it home. But I will definitely be eating it myself! Sooooo good! I did take off one star because of the decor. Definitely could use a refresh of paint and something besides fake plants and beaded trim on the walls. But don't let that hold you back from trying this place!

After finishing a job assignment just down the street from this restaurant, I was hungry for some quality food. Lately, my tendency is to go to a Mediterranean/Middle Eastern restaurant to get me something healthy. And upon doing a search what was nearby, I found this place (Moroccan/Greek influenced restaurant.) I didn't need to waste anymore time to ponder over; I rushed to it after work. For some reason, I thought this was a place more towards a casual dining restaurant (like Cava or Modern Market.) I was wrong. This is more like a high-end restaurant that offers quality and yet fairly affordable foods. The restaurant inside is quite fancy. The first section (right after you've entered it and to your left) is the prettiest section of it. Then the second portion is the main dining with 6-8 tables nicely spaced between. The bar extends quite extensively; it's a great place if you are to dine in single. There are more tables all the way to the back (west side of the building.) I was greeted by a young lady immediately upon arrival. I told her it was for a to-go order. She took me to the bar and instructed me to place my order there. One of the guys at the bar kindly enough to offer me a glass of water while perusing the menu. Service was attentive (until this point.) The menu booklets are fancy and beautiful. There are four pages. It's sectioned out from the starters to the soups and salads to the main plates. Not sure if they have a separate menu when it comes to the drinks. Like I said, I was there for a takeout, so I didn't look f or it. Once I knew what I wanted for the night, I placed it with the guy who gave me the water (earlier) Oh boy, had I known the fact that this place takes a long time to prepare foods, I would have called in. For the time I placed my order and finally got it, there was good 40 minutes. It was the peak dinner time on Sunday (it appeared that the restaurant was at its 85 - 90% capacity. They were also other pickup orders by DoorDash/Uber Eats as I saw more than a handful of guys came and went to pick up their customers' orders.) For this reason, I strongly recommend that you place your order ahead if it's a takeout. Or if you want to dine in, avoid the peak time as those who were dining last night might have waited long to get their foods; this is just an assumption, however. What I got me last night were two items from the starter section: Lamb Ragu ($14) and Beetroot With Labneh ($12). Both are gluten free. As of mid-August of 2024, the overall rating of this restaurant is solid 4 stars. I did read some honest/frank opinions of others who have utilized this business where their reviews might have been solely based on their likes and dislikes but to me, both dishes were quite impressive. Lamb Ragu: consists of ground lamb placed over hummus with pine nuts and pomegranate seeds. All the ingredients truly compliment each other perfectly. This dish is served warm but when I had the leftover the very next morning (which was out of my fridge), I didn't bother to warm it up. It still tasted good. It comes with pita bread which is seasoned with curry powder was my impression (apparently this is gluten free as well???) Beetroot With Labneh: I had no clue what Labneh was until this point but now I know. It's a combination of cheese and (traditionally goat) yogurt. And the drizzle of citrus orange dressing over the labneh tasted more like a jam, but this was the magic that did to the whole dish might be an understatement. The perfectly cooked gold and red beet cubes were superbly the main ingredient in this dish where it makes the whole dish so beautifully colorful. Wow, I'm amazed. I'm giving this place a perfect 4-star review (the reason why I'm not giving it a 5-star rating is because the wait time for a takeout was simply too long (like I said 40 minutes.) Not sure if they can do something about it to make it a bit more efficient in the future. Anyway, I will utilize this business in the future for sure if I see fit (if I would be in the neighborhood again.)

Pretty good! Nice atmosphere, food was yummy. The servers were very attentive. I think the chicken could have been better it was a bit under salted and cooked a little too long but overall, decent!

Lots of Moroccan influences, but I wish they served my Lamb Tagine in a Tagine. We also got their Mezi Platter with Lentil soup, but past on the Lentil soup. It's not as creamy as I would have preferred. This place has a large bar area to sit and great for large parties. However - it took 70 minutes for our entrees to come out. So, make sure you have extra time in-between whatever you need to get to while coming here.

Pros: Ability and ease to make a reservation. Food taste was amazing! Beautifully decorated Cons:Service was very slow and hard to get their attention. Portion size for cost - food and drink. The NA drink I got was 80% ice. Appetizer platter only had 2 falafel and 2 dolmas. I love Mediterranean food so I was so excited to try this place! And I picked it as my birthday restaurant. I even included that I was my birthday on the reservation but got no acknowledgment. Overall, I'd give it a 3.5/5

The. Chicken. Shawarma. Absolutely amazing. The chicken was not dry, as I've had at other places before, and it was served on the BEST hummus I ever had in my life. I am coming back for that dish again. My partner and I shared the plate and ordered a cocktail for each of us. I don't remember the names of them now, but we thoroughly enjoyed both of them.Service was very quick, the food came out a lot faster than I anticipated. Again, highly recommend coming here for the chicken shawarma.

I just returned from Italy and Greece so was craving Mediterranean. I sat at the bar to interact (or not). While the bartender didn't seem overwhelmed, the service was polite but the bare minimum. No problem, but if you need something you have to ask. Drinks: ordered a smoky margarita. Very mezcal. Good flavor, what I asked for. Food: It threw me off in that it's more middle eastern/Asian Mediterranean than European Mediterranean. I ordered a lamb ragu starter and it came out as a large amount of ground lamb on a bed of hummus with spices and pine nuts. It was a lot of food, but too much for a starter, and too much lamb to make me feel like it's anything close to a high quality meat. The pita bread was fresh. I rate the food 6.5/10. Ambiance: dark because the space is deep, but nice plants and big windows at the front. Ok for a date with moderate but not too much noiseOverall, they didn't make me want to stay and order more or return. I'm having my drink and app and moving along to the next spot.

Schwarma dish was horrible. Chicken was gooey and it wasn't even real Schwarma. The hummus was thin and had a weird flavor and the tabbouleh sucked. Expensive for awful food.
