It's your typical fast serve casual Mexican restaurant with modest pricing, generous servings, attentive staff and an okay interior. Parking lot was packed on this Tuesday afternoon, but the restaurant was. Not. Quiet and enjoyable dining experience. The iced tea was very watered down, but my Grilled quesadilla lunch special was tasty--chicken and veggies (not too oily) with an okay salad of greens, cheese, sour cream and guacamole, however the rice was awful. Chips were fresh and crunchy with decent salsa. I'd return for a $10 lunch again. Lots of variety to choose from on the menu, including a kids menu.

Stopped in on a Monday at 7:00 pm . Total of maybe 8 people in the building. We were sat immediately.Once sat we noticed it's at least 90° inside . With no cool air at all from ac ducts. This place recently reopened its doors. As far as Mexican food in the area goes it is similar to other restaurants in the area. From most dishes for lunch and some dinner the price is about $10 or less for most specials.The special nachos platter nachos are not a soggy as El Mazaltan has sometimes, but this place does not provide tortillas to dishes as liberally as El Mazaltan. I came here for lunch we had a large group, the largest group in the establishment at the time. I had the nachos they were heavier on the salad and lighter on the shredded chicken, but it was ok, i'm just not a fan of the shredded cheese mixed in with melted cheese which is something I'm not used to in my nacho platters. Compared to similar restaurants in the area I don't think the staff was as warm in their service, but it was not terrible. If your local to the area give it a shot and see if you like it more than El Maz. I think there are areas for growth in each.
