This is a great place for drinks and a slice of pizza. The girls behind the bar were great. Had a slice of bacon chicken ranch that was great with very little "flop". Hope my son comes here for school.

Unless your a college student don't come here. They are located on Temple campus, so its a great place to grab food to go if your a student or work on campus. But for nightlife it is Temple students mainly. The bartenders here are great, but the drinks are overpriced. I enjoyed it here when I was a student, but now I only come if Im on campus and need a quick bite to eat.

Perfect spot for young people looking for good time, gets crowded after 9 they have a DJ every weeknight and definitely party spot for Temple kids. Solid food and nice relaxed vibe before it gets late. Best pizza and bar food around hands down. Nice drink specials and everything reasonably priced. Awesome staff 10/10 loved every Maxis night I've had feels like home

The food is worth the price the slice I got was huge. It was as big as two slices at franchise pizza places. The cashiers were very friendly and acted in a well organized manner. As soon as I placed my order the cashier was ready for me to pay. The pizza place itself was quite small but the bar was big. Both places have a lively and friendly atmosphere which is a great thing to have when eating. I recommend this place if you looking for something that's quick and easy to eat.

The food at Maxi's is surprisingly good. They have decent pizza and a delicious chicken parm sandwich.Beyond that, it's terrible. The bathrooms are ... unbelievable. I'd rather go out to Liacouras Walk and cop a squat right there than use these bathrooms.It's also usually impossible to find a place to sit, and since they serve alcohol the crowd is often there to guzzle beer.What I'm saying is the ambiance isn't great unless you're there to party, but the food is good to-go.

Such awesome memories and a great college bar! Stopped at Maxi's last weekend and the pizza was just as yummy as I remembered. A lot of good times spent at the bar and at the counter grabbing slices to go. So happy Maxi's is still there on Temple campus for all students and alumni to enjoy! Keep those tasty slices coming!!

I ordered 2 slices of pizza the white guy who I believe is a student treated me horrible and I work at temple . He purposely got pizza sauce all over the box I'm glad I seen it in time

I graduated in 2020 but I was lying in bed and thinking about how f*cking annoying the bouncers were when I used to go there. They rejected my fake (okay fair enough) even though they let my two guy friends in who had the same fakes as me. I went back a few months later with my real ID...they still claimed it was fake despite passing the test in their stupid little machine. I stomped back with my passport and a dream, and they finally let me in. The bartenders will also card you (despite being carded at the door) and have an attitude. Total power trip losers, at least back then. Not sure if they still are, but probably. The pizza was fire though which is why I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1.
