My significant other and I were passing and I told him I need a snack. Stopped here. Bathrooms clean. Customer service was amazing. Shoutout to the beautiful barista/wine lady Liz who was just a pleasure to meet. We split a Gyro and had 2 glasses of . Gyro was delicious! We want to go back and get another. Mad I shared . The HIM said we are definitely going back. The gyro was like $9 and each glass of wine $10. We will return! Thank you Liz and the other gentlemen working the front for being so kind and welcoming.

This place is pretty hidden & a little rundown looking but it's a solid place if you're craving Mediterranean food & wanting something quick & cheap! The portions are pretty big for the price and the taste is definitely there. Service is quick & friendly. Definitely check this place out at least once. Like I said, it's a little hidden but they've got a disco ball in the middle of the restaurant and you know you can't resist that!

A good friend had suggested to go here after we made plans to meet for lunch today., Ironically, I had been searching for either Greek or Middle Eastern food and had just looked at their website. Great minds think alike! So we had gone for lunch and it was great! I have been passing by this place at least weekly for the past 7 years and had not stopped to try it out. My friend had been here and had tried before, but forgot about it. Well, I'm sure we both will be back again. We both had the Moussaka which came with Greek Salad and pita and drink. We were actually hoping for a combination type plate like we used to get at Taste of Greece before they moved from Peachtree Corners/Norcross area. I added Spanokopita to my meal, so I guess I created a combo type plate. Of course, I had to have a piece of baklava after. Service was great, food was tasty and it was quiet enough that we could talk without talking over music or the TV. It's not a large place, but there appears to be a separate area that you could have a larger party if needed. Daniel was our waiter and he was very attentive until he had to leave after all of the other patrons left. We didn't have to hurry, so we continued to visit.

We've been coming to Maximo's for at least 10 years. I really thought I'd done a review, but I guess I never got around to it- until today! My grandparents have had 2 places that they looove to go to eat Sunday lunch- this is the better one. In all honesty, Maximo's has fantastic gyros, sandwiches, salads, and other Greek fare. Personally, I love their Persian Chicken Kubideh (in a wrap) and the Philly Cheesesteak (as a sandwich or a wrap). The Persian Chicken Kubideh comes with tzatziki sauce, onions, tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, and green peppers. I prefer to add feta cheese to any sandwich or wrap I try- because feta rocks (!) and why not in a Greek restaurant? I prefer their Chicken Caesar salad over the Greek salads, but that's just my personal preference in taste. My uncle is very much in love with their Greek salads. The Chicken Caesar salad comes with thigh meat (which you can change to breast meat if you want- but why would you???) and they season the meat beautifully. The chicken is delightfully tender and wonderfully juicy. Plus, the portion of chicken is fabulous. There's always a tell-tale sign of whether a restaurant does a good job (or not) on their particular type of food. When it comes to Greek, I think the falafel tells you all you need to know. The falafel here is great! Perfectly crisp all around, yet moist and piping hot in the inside. They make their falafel out of freshly ground chickpeas (not a dried mix) and it shows. [I recommend getting the falafels individually, rather than purchasing the "appetizer" because you get more falafel for your buck while the appetizer comes with pita bread and hummus- why?]The kabobs are excellent as well, although they are about double the price of sandwiches/wraps. Give them a shot. The staff is friendly and the food is awesome!

Delicious gyro sandwich - seasoned perfectly and the thinly sliced greek fries were so good. I discovered this restaurant after doing a google search for "nearby Mediterranean restaurants" while at work. Great lunch specials. Service was great. Daniel was nice and attentive. Can't wait to try more of their delicious foods.

This is another restaurant that we had skipped for a long time. not sure why, probably just location out of the way for usNow that we have gone a few time recently , have found it to be consistently good on a good variety of dishesTonight had KABOB SUPREME : A combination of lamb, chicken, kubideh, cornish hen kabobs , large greek salad, 2 servings of rice, 2 pita bread. EXCELLENT, especially the lamb - very juicy and flavorful; and more than enough for the TWO of useIn previous visits had GYRO PLATE; and MOUSSAKAPreviously daughter had the cornish hen too ; and son of course had chicken parm. All very good, and always needed to take part home In same shopping center as Wal-Mart on Winters chapel , hidden behind some other buildings. parking easy . Worth the visit even if not close by.

AVOID AVOID AVOID. Meat is DRY. Owner is a complete DOUCHE BAG. Why do you have a restaurant if you HATE customers? If your food is TERRIBLE. We went to left this terrible establishment and went to Efendi Turkish in Alpharetta - 100% WORTH THE DRIVE from Dunwoody. They are open until 11pm or later the lamb and gyro meat is tinder. Avoid Maximos - what a pathetic excuse for greek. I hope they go out of business so a much better restaurant can replace it! Then he can spend all the time with his wife and kids that he wants!!! Who closes at 8pm? AVOID!

These comments are a total lie. This person wouldn't accept they were closing at there normal business hours. The owner expressed he couldn't stay open any longer. This review was written out of pettiness and spite.
