Maxi Arepa

Driving around looking for some good food for dinner I found this place next to the gas station, they do a lot of Togo orders from what I see while I was there. Good food great service but they don't have everything that they offer in the menu, most of the items were out or not available at this place, according to the server she said that they never had those items available at this location but they are on the menu:) weird but yeah that's what she said. My arepas were amazing and the few more items that I ordered were the bomb, the sauces super delicious. I can wait to go back and see if they have more items on the menu to try. Please excuse my bad typing.

The patacones are to die for. Plantains are a delicacy in my culture so I'm always down to try anything that has plátano in it. This has to be one of the best places I've eaten at in katy. Service was fast and the prices were reasonable.

Really loved this food. Specifically got the patacon, chorizo with platano maduro. Everything was well seasoned, cooked well and tasted super yummy. Also very happy when I see hispanic places have maltas, not just the Goya brand. Employees were really nice and the place clean. We arrived there and ordered to go and everything was ready in about 10 minutes(we ordered 4 different patacons and one arepa). We sat in a booth while we waited, and all the booths there have their own TV.

This is my second time trying their Patacones! Omg they are delicious. Highly recommended! Will be coming back! The place was super clean. The service was food.

I enjoyed my Parrilla Mixta with Carne and Pernil. It was large and served with an abundance of fries. The nice lady at the counter was friendly and helpful. I prefer table service and this I has counter ordering. They were out of tea, so I had to have soda. My dad me complaint is they charge the same for tap water as fountain drinks.

I started exploring Venezuelan cuisine about 2 years ago and fell in love with tequenos and arepas! This place had the best tequenos that I have ever had. Unfortunately, I did not much care for the arepa that I ordered. I know that the place is called MAXI arepa, but I think less means more as the individual flavors get washed away when there is too much going on.

This place is a hidden gem! The staff are super friendly and helpful. We tried the chicken and beef empanadas... both were very good but beef was my preference of the twoWe had a Cachapa which was a perfect blend of flavors and textures! SUPER YUM!My husband had a Maxi Arepas with chicken and he said it was very flavorful and delicious.For dessert we had their version of flavored ice with Cream on top. We had the coconut and the strawberry. Overall Very impressed and excited that this whole meal was gluten-free

They don't sell Maxi Pads, and are not owned by soccer players Maxi Lopez or Maxi Rodriguez of Liverpool, nor Maxi Priest, the singer, who just wants to be close to you and do all the things you want him to. But aside from that false advertising castigation, they're an excellent choice for Venezuelan street food.If you want some good arepas in Katy, one of the largest suburbs in the world with over 300,000 residents, there are not many options, but this one is a good option. It's great that there's finally good Venezuelan food in Katy, because Houston itself has a few good options.We find them to be tasty and delicious and well worth the trip. They're not the cheapest but they are delicious enough to make me say that you should come here and give it a try, five stars. Some of the other reviews might be questionable or fake but I would give it five stars for the taste every time. Although I do usually deduct a star if I think there's a lot of fake 5-star reviews, but I'll make an exception here. After all, arepas in Katy? Awesome.

I went last night to try something new walking in to the place was packed so we both thought if it's packed then the food should be good right ??? Well we ordered a burger and the burger was good nothing to say about that but the patacone de pollo was disgusting at first nothing wrong with it but half way it tasted weird almost like it something was bad then we smell the patacone and it nasty not going to this place again 02/11/24
