Mary'z Mediterranean Cuisine

Glad to have a hookah and chill spot where I can smoke and sip on a beverage. The atmosphere is relaxing whether indoors or outside in the tented/covered area. It's a bit close to my residence and has converted me to being somewhat of a regular here whenever I'm in the mood for hookah. My go-to is that watermelon mint; never fails. Pair it with a glass of red and perhaps some hot tea and I'm as sound as a pound.Haven't tried much of the food although the hummus is a classic appetizer with the oil and spices mixed in. I will need to try the dishes such as the schwarma and falafel as the other reviews are talking them up. As for drinks, they have a full bar with a surprising elegant wine selection. Other hookah drinks such as hot tea and lebanese coffee can be had too.I've received nothing but warm welcome from the staff when I arrive which is another reason I enjoy frequenting this place. Just grab a spot somewhere outside, get your hookah, sip your drink, and enjoy life!

Came here for dinner last week with my wife, daughter and brother who was visiting from India The server was rude - we got there around 9:25pm (10pm closing) and she kept saying curtly that they close in 30 minutes as if she didn't want our business. Since my brother was very hungry and jet lagged after an 18 hour flight and didn't want us to drive around again we sucked it up and Stayed. We got the house wine, falafel, kebab platter and Lamb chops - all tasted very good along with the fresh tasting pita bread and hummus dips. $96 + tipsWe finished dinner and checked out with 5 minutes to spare but the table next to ours had a couple young gentlemen who were still getting more food at their table while we were leaving. We were still outside taking family pictures and noticed that those patrons were still enjoying dinner and chatting merrily well past the shutter down time with no rush whatsoever. I guess the hours differ by nationality lol.

I typically am not a controversial person, but I find that what occurred to my friends and I on the last Friday during Ramadan was not pardonable. It started once we sat, we had an older woman waiter with black long hair about 5'2 who seemed to be having a bad day, she rushed us through our order (6 guests) and once it came to my last friend to order (who was trying to find a flavor to smoke) the waiter was very pushy. My friend's face was confused and embarrassed with the aggressive approach the waiter took when " asking"/demanding her "Are you gonna smoke or not?"This pushed my friend to just not order at all...This was a VERY uncomfortable situation to be in, all the other friends at the table even noticed the server's aggressive attitude when taking our orders and how she singled out the last friend ordering. We let that part go and continued with our night. We tried to forget it happened and move on...I suggested to my friend to order a mint lemonade just to enjoy her night together with us. When the server returned I ordered for my friend and I 2 mint lemonades. The server quickly jumped back to the aggressive state saying: "Why is she mad at me? She's mad? Look, you're friend is made at me, what did I do to her? Did she want to smoke now?" I told her to "Please just 2 mint lemonades thank you." My friend was in shock how this server did NOT let the situation go and continued to antagonize us. The manager later closed our tab and he was very kind and patient. However, for this particular woman I would suggest her to maybe try to find a different position. If she was having a bad day she should've have called in. This was completely unacceptable and embarrassing for her to put my friend in this position with her aggressive nature of patronizing a customer. Please re-train this staff member, she needs more patience and understanding when working with customers.

Everything we tried at Mary'z was great! Started w cabbage rolls and a feta pie which were to die for. The feta pie was absolutely decadent. We also had some hummus, and a chicken and beef shawarma. I am very picky with my shawarmas and I have no complaints about this one except that there were too many pickles for my liking. Definitely ask for extra garlic sauce and a side of hot sauce. This place is perfect for dine in or take out! They do have a bar with well priced glasses of wine which is a bonus in my book!

Always great service! Ambiance is awesome. You can choose to sit inside with a hookah or outside. Then their is the option to not sit near hookahs at all.

This was really yummy but not the best Mediterranean. Felt a little plain. But that could be just because I ordered a plain dish. It's nice that they have hookah for outside only so that patrons who don't like the smell don't have to be around it.

I love this place!! I've come so many times now and everything is delicious and the service is great! My favorite plate is the Chicken Kabob plate with their potatoes and hummus. You get so much food for the price and it's so worth it. This is the best Mediterranean restaurant in the area so if you are looking for good Mediterranean food I would definitely recommend Mary'z!

I had lunch here and my bill was $41 but I was charged $77. They claim to have inputed the total amount in the tip section. Make sure to check your credit card to make sure you were charged correctly. I have never had this happen before with any other restaurant.

I came with a few friends on a Thursday night after an event. There was parking in a back lot and we were seated immediately on the patio, which was fine because the weather was great. It didn't appear to be too busy and I believe we were told they close at 10PM (we arrived around 8:30ish). I'm not sure what flavor hookah we had but it was really good. It pulled very well and was not harsh at all. I believe they came and changed our coal without us having to chase anyone down so that's always a plus for me.I wasn't very hungry but decided to order a flatbread with beef I believe. It was delicious! It was a good size, reasonably priced and the seasoning had a Mediterranean kick to it which I thoroughly enjoyed. Overall, I had a great experience being this was my first time here and I would likely come a back.
