Marsala’s Italian Grill

I ordered a family meal to go. When I got to this place to pick up my order, there was a waiting line to dine in. It smelled delicious and the lady at the counter already knew about my order.I ordered the alfredo pasta with chicken. I honestly feel like it could have had a bit more flavor, it was a bit plain. It was very full. I also ordered the fried calamari, the flavor was delicious but all the coating fell off by the time we got home. The bread was soft and fresh, just delicious we also ordered the spinach and artichoke dip and it was delicious.I will come back for sure and will recommend it to my friends. I will most probably choose a different entree, and I am sure I will love it.

My family and I tried this place out looking for a little italian place near us. To start out, they give you the best garlic bread ever! If i had to give a score based just on that, it would easily be 5 stars. I ordered the shrimp scampi pasta and really wished it had more flavor. I felt like it lacked the garlic flavor that I'd expect from a scampi dish. The pasta was cooked nice and really no other complaints. We will definitely come back and try out other dishes.

Tried mixing it up from our local favorite Italian spot and was unfortunately left disappointed. Food seemed very bland. Staff was very pleasant and service was good.

This is based only off of takeaway. All and all, I would definitely give this place another try whenever we are wanting a good meal that all of us will be happy with.Food: We got 4 dishes to being kids with a red sauce and one with the white sauce. A steak meal for myself and a pasta meal for my husband. For the menu they don't have the most diverse menu but I think most people would be able to find something that they like on it. This place for me gets an extra star. Just because I was able to find something that was low carb.We enjoyed everything but my husband in particular absolutely loved their bread rolls. He basically ate them all after dipping them in the remaining sauce from his pasta meal.Ease of pickup: This was really easy, we had no issues. And it wasn't particularly crowded or busy at the time we ordered.Value: It kind of depends what you order. I feel they're steak is a bit on the expensive side for how much you're get per ounce But at the same time, their kids meals are uber affordable and you get a substantial portion.

The food was amazing and the service was second to none! The music and Ambiance was like a mom and pop Italian restaurant!

Nice little Italian restaurant in Conroe Texas. Lasagna was amazing. I loved the sauce and the garlic bread rolls. Reasonably priced good value.

Dinner tonight was a real treat...a little spot called Marsala's Italian Grill. I was seated and my server Grier got me set up with a beer and water while I looked things over. I had read the reviews here and was determined to try their jalapeño cream sauce. When she returned I ordered the Chicken Marsala along with a small side dish of spaghetti with the jalapeño cream sauce. The garlic knots they serve are unbelievable...silky soft on the inside and a nice firm crust slathered in oils, butter, parmesan cheese, and garlic...it's tough not to eat the entire plate. The chicken marsala...excellent. The chicken is nicely breaded and the sauce is has a light marsala wine flavor with a subtle sweetness. As for the side spaghetti dish with the jalapeño cream sauce, one of the most unusual and delicious sauces I have enjoyed in a long time. The sauce is not "hot & spicy" due to the jalapeños, but the distinct flavors of the jalapeños really made this a special sauce. The bread pudding for dessert was really good, easy to tell this was a inhouse creation. The service here is great and Grier took wonderful care of me. I was also visited by the Manager Tammy who inquired about my experience. She told me how things are created from scratch inhouse and she is very proud of the restaurant.

Out in Conroe, looking for a quick dinner and ran across Marsala's. The parking lot was full and there were people waiting for tables which we took for a good sign. The interior of the restaurant is dated, dusty grape foliage and disproportionate faux brick work so it was like teleporting back in time. The menu looked good though the addition of chopped tomato to piccata sauce was telling. That and being told by a regular that the lasagna was similar to Olive Garden. Not what I would liken to authentic but there are those that are fans. The meal started well with light and tasty garlic knots. We settled on the lasagna and the veal Marsala as our entrees. The lasagna was a dryer version of the dish covered with a heaping pile of meat sauce that did much to offset the dryness. The veal Marsala was featured a white sauce (??!) with a few mushrooms that tasted like pancake batter with a touch of Marsala wine mixed. I've never seen the sauce in anything less than brown and wondered if they just were making a new batch and didn't want me to wait for it to cook down. Disappointing.

Allways great food and were quick to fix one mistake in 5 years of going. They're in front of Rivershire and excellent Garlic bread.... Awesome staff.
