This is my local pizza place and it's pretty reliable for a pizza fix! Their cheese pizza/pizza with toppings absolutely does the job in terms of ordering pizza on an easy night. It's classic pizza--nothing fancy, and sometimes I'm craving a classic over artisan anyway. They also have a solid cheesesteak and stromboli. Their garlic knots and marinara are tasty as well. They deliver and are usually pretty timely! Can also place orders for pick up. Their staff are kind and friendly. They have a lot of menu options so there's still plenty that I haven't tried yet. I haven't dined in myself but there's a spacious enough area to sit inside as well as some little tables outside. If you live in the Chestnut Hill area and need a go to pizza spot, I def recommend checking out Mario's!

I enjoyed the pepperoni pizza a week ago from Mario's. I did add some oregano and garlic powder which made it taste how I like it. One thing I noticed was that he had very little sauce. Just the right greasiness but not a lot of red sauce.

I don't like writing bad reviews cause I don't like negatively affecting businesses but the pizza here is just bad. Save your money and go to one of the other local joints around.

Food was horrible. It was tasteless and they threw the Italian hoagie together. It was just horrible. The wings were slathered with a ton of hot sauce. They were hard if you ever won a good meal, do not I repeat do not order anything from this restaurant ever

Remain a fan of this place, which clearly has a well-deserved neighborhood following, these negative reviews aside. Just got a large veggie pizza and white pizza with ricotta cheese, and both were delicious and enjoyed by whole family. Who all say that Mario's has stayed consistently good over the years. Staff was really friendly, and this feels like a family - run place that is interested in being a neighborhood go-to for pizza and more. Hoping that more people who've had good experiences also post here, to give them the credit deserved.

Been patronizing this place for a few years-- honestly I loved the fact that the guys here can make a pie and appreciated the good food-- but just now, after everywhere else closed early for Black Friday, my wife and I ordered a simple hoagie and wings for dinner. I always prefer to call and order directly, and to give the owners all the money rather than the online ordering platform. That said, I came to pick up my order (which if I ordered online would have cost me $21.60 after tax) and when I walked in the girl at the register looked over at one of the guys when I asked for my total and he simply said in Spanish "24", so after Apple Pay my total was 25.83. Before tip. I would have happily given the extra money to the hard working staff but I don't appreciate them trying to take advantage of me for no reason, It's likely we won't return.

Never again will spend a dime here. Twice in two weeks have I been disrespected over mozzarella sticks. Today they tasted fishy and they don't even serve fish. The owner (who I've dealt with many times over the years) refunded the money then asked for it back after remaking when i asked what they said in Spanish as I was walking out. I am disappointed in the decline of Mario's it's sad to see. At least wait til I leave to make your comments.
