Mari Mari

I visited Mari Mari for a casual weeknight dinner. I had pretty high expectations after seeing the new Philly locations featured on social media. The menu offers great customization options which makes it ideal for accommodating different dietary preferences.My friend and I order several items to share. We went for the 'Choose 3 Mari Rolls Option'. We got the Chicken Katsu, Korean BBQ (Beef), and Spicy Beef rolls all made with purple rice and Bulgogi Garlic Sauce. We also got the Spicy Chicken and Cheese Bulgogi Inaris as well a Kimchi Ramen with chicken. All of our food was ready in 15 minutes. I enjoyed all three of the sushi rolls with the Korean BBQ being my favorite. The beef was tender and paired really well with the Bulgogi Garlic Sauce. The Inari were decent, but not my favorite item of the entire meal. I would recommend the Spicy Chicken over the Cheese Bulgogi. I'm very picky about restaurant ramen and as pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the Kimchi Ramen. The broth was delicious; the kimchi complemented it very well without being overpowering. I'd recommend this to anyone visiting for the first time. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at Mari Mari. I personally love the ability I have to customize my meal. I also like the good quality and unique offerings as a smaller fast casual spot. While it may not be the most authentic Japanese sushi experience, Mari Mari has something for every customer to enjoy.

$11.95 for three rolls of sushi is almost unheard of these days! Mari Mari came through with the deal and I was enticed to stop by for lunch. Everything on the menu looked excellent, especially the Inari. I'll be trying that next time. For now, I want to focus on what I got. Sweet potato, spicy tuna and Philly avocado rolls. All incredibly delicious! Philly avo was my top favorite and the sweet po came in second. The employee at the counter was kind, as I informed her it was my first time visiting and she provided a quick breakdown of the menu. There's a great variety of beverages at the front, too. The seating and flooring appeared to be clean and well-kept. I should have asked for more soy sauce, as they only provide a small container of it. Other than that, everything was nicely packaged and traveled well in the bag. I'll definitely be returning!

I'm not the biggest fan of Asian cuisine. It's nice once in a while, but it is not my go-to meal. I went into Mari Mari as part of a food tour. Otherwise, I would have passed by without a second look. The tofu bowl is delicious. With a variety of toppings to choose from, anyone can find one to fit their taste.Though the restaurant itself is small, the menu is mighty, and the service is excellent. If you are looking for something different, I highly recommend Mari Mari.

Quick. Easy. Affordable. A great combination! Especially in this city. Was pleasantly surprised with how much I got for what I paid - picture tied to this review was only $12 with tip! Loved the fried crab and fried asparagus roles. Cute modern interior with plenty of seating as well.

Ahhh, where do I begin with this great place.I'm pretty sure I came here 3 days in a row. I love this place. What I love most about it is their menu. This place is the place that introduced me to inari's. Imagine how sad I was when I realized I spent most of my life not knowing about it, lol. It's a tofu pouch filled with rice, meat or veggies, and variety of sauces. It's soooooo good. The best part is that each one is under $4. The chicken, spicy crab, Tuna mayo, and garlic mushroom inari's are all $2.95. So you can get 3 for less than $10. My girl also loves the ramen here (yes, they have ramen, too). I tried it, and it really is solid for a place that isn't exclusively a ramen spot. They also have some solid sushi. I tried it and liked it too.The service isn't bad at all. If your going to place an order for pickup, it usually takes about 20 minutes to be ready. I'd recommend doing that. There's seating inside but not a lot. Additionally, if it's packed, it can get pretty warm cause they have like a fan and a portable air conditioner.

We have passed Mari Mari so many times and decided to pop in and try it out. We checked out the menu online, but honestly, I felt that it was much easier to just order in person, seeing all the options on display in front of me made it much easier. The service is very fast too, so it was no issue. I loved the test of the spicy crab and the eel inari the most, both brought something different that I wasn't expecting. I would come back to Mari Mari to try out some of the rolls, I really liked that you could customize the rolls with so many different options. Mari Mari wasn't mind blowing, but everything tasted great, the service was great, and the price was reasonable so I really would come back soon

I came here after a long day and it did not disappoint!! I have loved sushi since childhood but it has been challenging since developing an allergy to raw fish. They have so many cooked options - I got and loved the purple rice combo with chicken, egg, and sweet potato. I also got two additional things for under $35. For sushi, that is an unbeatable price - though acknowledge that likely somewhat cheaper given did not order raw fish options. I had plenty of leftovers as well.

Delicious and quick fast-casual restaurant in the city! I really enjoyed the kimbap maki. It's not necessarily sushi because the fillings are not all fish. The fillings range from beef, calamari, tuna to vegetable options. I tried the combo set which includes 3 maki options for ~$12. For an additional fee, you can upgrade your white rice to purple rice, or upgrade your filling options to special options like salmon. The purple rice paired really well with all the options. It was definitely worth trying.

The staff isn't the friendliest, and the different Inaris were dry and after eating just one, the taste becomes a bit off-putting, but I love the vibe of the place. The decor and color palette are pretty, but I would love the food to be better.It is in Center City, so I would recommend to rideshare. It is usually really difficult to find street parking and the cost of parking garages are insane. Side note: we were pickpocketed here, so definitely be aware of all of surroundings no matter where you are.

My partner and stopped by Mari Mari for a quick lunch on the weekend as we've been meaning to try it, and it was particularly cold that day so we were definitely in the mood for some ramen. Mari Mari did not disappoint! The ramen was great, the broth was delicious and rich and the noodles were done perfectly. I went with the more atypical ramen style, the spicy noodles that didn't have a traditional broth, but the sauce was absolutely amazing and the udon had a perfect chew. We traded bites often and we really enjoyed both. The inari we ordered was equally amazing, they have so many different flavor options and we had a really hard time choosing. The traditional rolls looked good too but we wanted to try the inari as it was a more unique option we don't see as often.The inari was so well done, the toppings were well cooked (we got the kimchi, octopus, and eel if I'm remembering correctly?) and we couldn't pick a favorite. We got their yuzu lemonade as well and it was a perfect pairing with everything, not too sweet or sour. Everything was a great deal and we left feeling super satisfied. Service was super quick and there was plenty of seating inside. We would absolutely come back!
