They make hot soups every day, which are absolutely delicious You can get a serving size for $6 and a pint for $11. I Love their Split Pea, Cream of Potato and Broccoli and Cheese. The people there are very friendly and helpful Their selections of fresh sandwiches, pies, fruits and vegetables, along with other grocery items and "to go" foods are wonderful. Please go and try them out. This location is on Fairfax and Colfax, the south side of the street, across from Nugg's ice cream.I have been to both store locations, they are both excellent stores and employees, but this location is closer to me.

I've known Marczyk for a long time. They used to have one location but now has two locations. They also have added a section where they carry alcohol. This small local grocery store has grown so much. I'm happy for their tremendous success.On my way to my late afternoon shift, I made a quick stop at this Colfax location for a few items I needed for tonight. I found several items that appealed to my eyes. The meat/deli section is clean. One of the guys promptly assisted me for what I needed. There was a line at the register but was moving quickly as there were 3 or 4 cashiers to assist the shoppers. My checker was also nice and pleasant to me. Shopping at a grocery store can be frustrating especially during this holiday season. I experienced none of that while I was there. The parking is a bit small but you can always opt for street parking.

An awesome, neighborhood grocery store with a surprising amount of a variety of food options. They have everything from fresh produce to meats / deli items to dry goods and liquor / beer / wine too. They are a bit pricey, but that's because it's a smaller store than the big box chains and everything they have is top of the line, so you do get what you pay for.

Comfortable high end grocery food store. This location is smaller than the 17th Ave & Clarkson store. A nice selection of meat and seafood, deli, produce, chocolate, cookies, crackers, olive oil, coffee. The Fairfax wine shop is next door.

I love Denver... after all, I've lived here a long time. One thing hard to find here is a good meat selection. I love Costco meats, but sometimes you just can't mentally deal with a Costco trip.Marczyk is small but mighty! Top notch gourmet grocery store on Colfax. I think if you wanted a certain type of protein they could procure it. Ground lamb? yes! ground veal? yes! Oh and the filets and ribeyes.... The have a great little deli and feature quality meats and soups.I got the French Dip, which is hard to find a top quality sandwich in Denver. There's was delicious. Service? Ten plus! meat guy? gracious and knowledge, deli guy? efficient and friendly.They have a connected wine and liquor store, but because of those pesky Colorado liquor laws you have to pay separately... no big deal.I love this place and if you're looking for specialty... this is it!

A fancy AF grocery store, that also sells wine?Don't mind if I do!It's been a hot minute since I've been here - 2011 to be exact - but this store has just about everything you could want to jazz up any meal.Artisan cheeses and truffle oils? Prime cuts of meat?Homemade goodies, sides and pasta?A fantastic wine and beer selection?What about a homemade snack while you eat?Delivery?Marczyk checks all the boxes! It's also family owned, and cute as a button. Everyone that works here clearly loves their job and has a passion for foodies! Their location is in prime location on 17th Street and is a locals favorite, and I can see why! They also host a variety of events (which I was part of way back when I was a Yelp Denver intern), making it the perfect way to sample all the delicious eats and be part of the trendy locals scene! Because I'm such a fan of 17th Ave, I know I'll be back :)

With another wave of Covid upon us, Marczyk's is a trusty market. Still following all the guidelines while providing fresh produce, meats, gourmet goodies and whatnot. Their Parisian sandwich is still my favorite. Butter makes everything better. Pro tip: put some Dijon mustard on that sando and you're cooking with gas!Safe local shopping.

Two weeks ago, came in on a Saturday to purchase items for a family birthday party. The gentlemen who helped me with my steaks went out of their way to make sure I received exactly what I required and assisted me with a seafood purchase as well. The steaks and the shrimp were quite simply fabulous!! - and the vegetable and fruit I purchased were top quality as well. I am an older lady and have difficulty with my mobility. A very kind lady employee assisted me in checking out, and helped me take my groceries to the car. I fell to the ground getting into my car, and the employees of Marczyk called 911, and stayed with me until the blessed Firemen came and got me up.Every employee could not have been kinder and more helpful - I am so very appreciative of their help, support, and wonderful food. There is a reason Marczyk made it through the COVID pandemic: superior merchandise and fabulous service are the reasons.

It's Sunday there's 4 small pieces of tuna at 29.99llb , near the end of the day so I understand all the fish may not look great, that's why I asked for a piece of the freshest looking cut, gentlemen denied my request . He actually said no. I would advise re training staff
