March....truly an incredible overall dining experience. The lounge and restaurant are located upstairs and the perfect blend of being upscale, yet cozy. The cocktail I ordered (Whiskey sour) was delicious and the meals were coursed out perfectly. I was a little disappointed with the minimal red wine offerings, but understand that the menu might have been more geared towards white wine selections. Every course was decadent and had a fabulous twist on ingredients that wasn't expected. My friend and I went with the 6 course meal but they had a few additional surprise dishes added as well. They even sent us home with a few treats at the end. The staff was knowledgeable of every dish and I loved the ambience of the restaurant. Overall, priced as it should for the food and the service!

Came here with a group of 4 for a friend's birthday dinner. We made reservations far in advance on Resy and they require you to make a deposit when you book. Parking is valet and located on the side of Rosie Cannonball next to the restaurant entrance. After checking in, you are escorted upstairs where the lounge and main dining area are located. First off was the lounge which has a full bar and comfy lounge seating. They greeted us with a taste of their signature vermouth which was delicious! We ordered pre-dinner cocktails and they gave us small snacks to munch on. After we finished the snacks we were escorted to the main dining area which has a nice, classy atmosphere. For dinner we had the 6 course menu, focused on the Mediterranean, with wine pairings. Each course was well plated with a wonderful presentation. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed with the food. Each course was good, but not as amazing as I thought it would have been for the price we paid. There's not a single dish I would come back here for. I did feel satiated after the 6 course meal so I can't even imagine how full I would have been after 9 courses. On a positive note, the servers here are amazing and extremely attentive. They were also patient with us as we were the last customers there and they let us take our time to finish our meals. Overall, I love the vibe and the ambiance of the classy dining room. I know everyone has different palates, so if you have the money to try this place out and are curious, then go for it. Otherwise if you've been on the fence, I don't think this place is worth it for the high price tag. I would definitely come back to their lounge/bar area for drinks though!!

March is a culinary adventure, and I can't wait to return for their new menu. The Mediterranean styled tasting menu was exciting and surprising at each turn. The wine pairings and their stories were both fascinating and perfectly matched to each course. The service was perfect - I never had to ask for a thing. The staff stayed on point through all six courses. I think the absolute highlight was the appetizer round in the bar. Each piece was such a surprise in flavor and texture. They really set the stage for the rest of the dining experience. A couple of the items on the tasting menu were quite large for a tasting. This might me my only complaint- as it made it difficult to make it through the later courses.

Wonderful 6-course Mediterranean tasting menu in the heart of Houston. Such an elegant restaurant with excellent service. If Michelin inspectors were to come to Houston, March would definitely be at the top of their list. The tasting menu begins in the Lounge, where we were offered a summer cocktail and snacks as appetizers. We also got a French 75 as a refreshing start to our dinner. We opted for the premium wine pairing, which was just perfection.I will say that our menu had a lot of protein dishes on it - very delightfully delicious, but I was quite full by the end of my meal. I cannot imagine what I would have felt like with the 9-course tasting! When we visited, the menu was Greek-inspired, so the courses had Greek names to describe them. Our protein dishes were: Octopus, Lobster-stuffed branzino, lamb belly, and A5 wagyu. Don't get me wrong here - they were all SUPER delicious. My favorite was the lamb belly, but that A5 wagyu was SOOOO juicy, it's definitely a close second. I think it was a little overkill with both the lamb and wagyu, but hey, this was an excellent meal overall, and you definitely get your money's worth! The meal ended with 2 desserts: an olive oil cake with meringue and an assortment of chocolates/cookies. Very delicious. They also sent us home with a bag with goodies - chamomile tea, chocolates and baklava, and copies of the tasting menu and wine pairings we had. Our waiters and sommeliers were very knowledgeable about each dish. I sometimes felt a little rushed as they would bring one dish after the other, in quick succession, but they certainly had really good service! Lovely wine pairings for sure. I would recommend for a nice night out!

March transports you to a whole different atmosphere; I think it's one of the finest meals you can have in Houston if you're looking for fine dining. The restraurant itself is beautiful, with an aesthetic that somehow manages to be ethereal yet grounded. My date surprised me with a last minute reservation, and we were welcomed in the bar room with a cocktail. (They're also able to make mocktails for anyone who prefers that route!) I was already enamored by the art on the walls and the fine details, down to the lapel pins worn by the staff. The dining room creates a magical experience with the light colors of the decor, and all of the chairs facing the pass for a clear view of the kitchen. The service is impeccable. Friendly, helpful, and inviting. Our 9 course tasting menu was thoughtfully presented, along with bits of history about each course. Shoutout to Rebecca with the cool eyeglasses, thank you for your welcoming warmth! The wine pairings were fantastic, and I can't wait to come back to both the lounge and the restaurant. Definitely a place that will impress.

We had an amazing time experiencing the March 6-course tasting menu. We had a 7:30pm reservation which started in the lounge with a flavored vermouth tasting and a "snack tile", plus we each ordered a cocktail. After about 50min, our table in the main dining area was ready so we took our cocktails and headed that way. Staff here is so amazing, beautifully describing the food and drink inspirations and ingredients; you can really tell how much thought went into this curated experience. The main dining room is intimate feeling without being crowded; large tables but spread out so you don't feel like you are dining on top of another party. We all opted to add the wine pairing to our food tasting, so each course came with a new wine; not a full glass, but more than a sip or too also...any more and it would have been a party vibe vs classy vibe. All of the courses tasted great; the standouts were the desserts in my opinion, but I am a big dessert fan. In reality, we actually got more than 6 courses if you include the snack tile plus 3 different desserts that were served. All in all, it was a great night. Total dining time was just under 3.5 hours. Complimentary valet available; March is located above Rosie Cannonball.

I attended March as a guest for a birthday celebration. The staff was extremely nice/attentive and the place is decorated beautifully. That is the extent of good things I have to say unfortunately. While the food was plated in a unique way, they taste of every dished we were served was dreadful. I would like to say it was okay, but it was simply bad. I had to choke down a few dishes for the sake of the host. Save your money and go elsewhere please

The entire place. It's not a vibe at all. The ambiance is terrible. It's an open room where you can hear everyone's dates and conversations. Very awkward. The staff stands over you like they want to eat your food, they won't leave you alone. They aren't even pleasant people. I do not recommend wasting even $20 at this place.
