STAY AWAY. Horrible, rude, untrained and disrespectful children work behind the counter. Even if there are 3 people behind the counter and one of you at the store, they will find a way to not serve you. The children working their are discriminatory and try hard to make your ice cream order the most miserable experience based on their judgement of you. Also, the ice cream ends up being disgusting. They don't abide by their own hours that they post online, even if you show up 30 minutes before the posted closing time. I wonder if the owner even knows that they close an hour before the posted closing time. This shop is a joke, and no one should support such a poorly run operation.

I'm a dessert addict so when I was passing this place to go to Target, my car somehow ended up parking near Marble Slab instead. I've been on a froyo and smoothie kick lately so it's been forever since I decided that spending $5 on a cup of ice cream was a good idea. I'm glad I decided to treat myself though because the cheesecake ice cream... Man! Words can't describe! I added Oreo cookies and walnuts and I darn near wanted to lick my cup clean.This place also offers shakes/smoothies, has waffle cones and bowls, and even has an amaretto flavor in the back in the secret stash. There's something for everyone and I'd definitely recommend going for a sweet treat. The only negative aspect is the price (someone who wanted to go hard on the toppings could easily spend $7 on one serving. I'd consider getting a pint since you seem to get more bang for your buck that way. Side note: I was expecting my cup to overflow with a baby ice cream mountain but it didn't. As you'll see in the photo I shared, it filled the cup with little overflow. My ice cream wasn't thick and chunky, it was whipped. The greedy monster inside of me wasn't pleased with the lack of an ice cream mountain. But perhaps it was for the benefit of my pending six pack abs.

My son loves this place!! Their always nice and have fresh cookies... you can't go wrong with unlimited toppings!!

Nice and clean marble slab in the lower heights area that has friendly customer service. Much better than the location on west gray.

Yum! There are sooo many options! They had so many different types cookies, ice cream flavors, creative menu options and ice cream cakes ready to go. One if the workers was preparing fresh chocolate chip cookie dough.Everyone was cheerful. The place was clean bright. I was greeted immediately. The person who helped me was very friendly. She mixed up my coffee ice cream with a couple of added treats and popped it into a waffle cone. So very delicious! I shall return and bring peeps.

Whoever made my strawberry shortcake today boyyy straight fire. She made that thing all delicious and strawberryie.

I was wasting time in the area; just getting out of the house and stopped here for some ice cream and cookies. The cookies were okay and ice cream was cool. My thing is, I went through my whole entrance, purchase, and exit without either of the two employees saying one word to me. No hello. No what will you have. No this is your total. Not even a have a nice night. I found it disrespectful that someone I spend my money with wouldn't even acknowledge my presence. This location won't receive a dime from me ever again.

Came here because one of my friends had a craving for some Great American Cookies so we actually went out of our way from Axelrad to this location since it was the closest one.At this point, I was already feeling hot since we were hanging out outside and it was a pretty warm day after Harvey (add the fact that my AC was non functional) so a cup of ice cream was definitely an awesome idea.Even after Harvey, there were a few people working behind the counter. This is awesome because most Marble Slab that I had been to would usually only have one or two staff behind the counter (one for the cookie side and one for the ice cream side) and service would be a tad slow. Not this location though, even though there were customers when we got here, we were able to immediately placed our order! Awesomeness!If you've been to a Marble Slab then you'd already know the deliciousness that is Marble Slab. What I didn't realize was that this company is owned (or also owns?) Maggie Moo's. I happened to see a poster in the store and saw that they are the same company. I guess you learn something new everyday!Anyway, wouldn't hesitate to come back here! Keep up the great job, guys!

The facility is always clean staff is always friendly and welcoming love the variety of flavors they have to offer.

I took my wife and young children to get ice cream last night. Once we walked in and ordered, the young woman behind the counter changed the selection of music playing on her phone through a Bluetooth speaker to a noticeably more urban/Black hip hop rotation of music. I enjoy hip-hop, and that isn't a problem except for the fact that the music was not clean and vulgarities were being blared through the air. Sexually explicit lyrics were very direct and heard often throughout the songs. For example, the last song we heard before it was changed was "B*tches Love Me" by Drake and Lil Wayne. Being a black family, it is unfortunate enough to have to deal with subtle racism in public as often as we do, but when I am out having ice cream with my young daughters I do not want to have to tell my daughters to not mind the lyrics that were misogynistic and referring vulgarly to the body parts that they have. Not only that, when another group of customers of a different race came in, the young lady changed the music style and lowered the volume. We have been long-time patrons of Marble Slab, but this was a racist slap in the face to my entire family and utterly disrespectful to my wife and especially my daughters. We made sure we recorded it just in case they said they didn't do it
