Maq’s Gyro Grill

The food here is pretty similar to NY gyro in Philly pike. The prices are fair and the portions are generous The little mixed vegetables always makes me feel less guilty about eating greasy meats piled onto a bed of greasy riceToday was my first time getting the fried fish, pretty good. I will add that to my regular rotation nowThey food is made fresh but is done so quickly. The salads are precut so you can point to what you wantThe guys at the grill are nice and friendlyI'm glad we have a lamb over rice place in the burbs now, I'm never driving to Philly pike again

Great people, incredible food and great prices. I always get the chicken over rice platter. Food is consistent, fresh, delicious, and they give you great portions. I'm obsessed with their white sauce. Love that they're open late. Go visit, you won't be disappointed.

It was cool. Had the gyro and fries. Meat was well seasoned. Fries were frozen and not fresh cut but decent. Toppings fresh. The star ding come from the meat being cubed which made it hard to stay in the pita. Made for a messy experience.

There isn't enough to be said about how good the food is here. I love falafel and I come here and get it every chance I get. There's only one other place in Delaware I will but it's in Newark. Whatever you do make sure you go here. Can't wait to go back.... That's the saying you're looking for.

I've been to their other location on Philly Pike which is a little further away. Their food is great. Today I went to Maq's and again, food was great but the best thing about both locations is the friendly atmosphere and willingness to assist the customer. I wish them much success in this new location. Keep up the friendly vibe.

Delicious food, great portions, clean and friendly environment. If you want to order Tikka, you should place your order in advance. Chicken over rice is ready right away.

The Best Mediterranean food in Wilmington. I ordered a #1 platter with both chicken and lamb shish kabob and it did not disappoint. There is a generous portion of meat, rice and full toppings fixin's bar available (not nickle and dimed for each topping either). The meat had Specialty marinades that made it especially yummy and the chicken and the lamb were incredibly tender.Zahib, the owner, took my order and was helpful on my selections. Very personable and will definitely make this a regular take out place on my list. Great Job!

Moving into the area! And I was taking a look at some places in the area and I am so glad I stopped here!! Amazing customer service and the food is so incredible. Tastes so authentic and delicious! I will be back!!
