I ordered from Maple Star with high expectations. I should have made a wish, prior to ordering. My entrees consisted of Chicken Pad Thai, Roasted Pork Mei Fun, and Chicken Mei Fun. The delivery order was via service from DoorDash. Let's start with a first, and the worst. The Chicken Pad Thai had ABSOLUTELY NO FLAVOR WHATSOEVER. I don't know what the liquid used was- it could've been water. It was so tasteless, Maple Star, it is officially the worst Pad Thai I ever tasted. Thus, there was only one conclusion- toss it down the garbage disposal.The Roasted Pork Mei Fun and Chicken Mei Fun were average. In comparison to the Pad Thai from Maple Star, they were superior. However, though the quantity of food you receive from Maple Star is on par with other Chinese restaurants, Thai restaurants, or any Asian cuisine, the quality is average. Even setting your expectations low for Pad Thai without the use of MSG won't save that dish. Maple Star, it was a very disappointing meal.

Best Chinese food for the best price around. However, its in a sketchy neighborhood and the restaurant itself is not meant to be sat in at all. The vibes are a 100% a bit off, but the food makes it worth it. We just get it delivered to avoid having to go inside. Its fast food Chinese so its nothing crazy special, but the low costs and good food keeps us ordering again.

I will not order from here again. Unfortunately it just did not do the job. It wasn't the worst food I've had but the rice had some sort of weird after taste, almost like they used some bad water to make the rice. We had sesame chicken, and general tso's platters. The best part was the egg roll. I didn't grab any pics but don't expect too much from here if you go.

Fantastic Chinese spot around Temple U. Staff is always friendly and the food tastes excellent! Miles above other local Chinese spots in the North Philly area. I'd definitely recommend the General Tso and Chicken Dumplings!!!

Maple Star has a fantastic menu selection and offers a wide variety of vegetarian options. My go to dish (highly recommend!) is the Vegetable Ho Fun. I love the flat noodles which are always prepared to perfection. The Miso soup is also really good! They accept card payment, which I like since some spots are cash only. The delivery is normally much faster than the suggested delivery time so if it says 45-60 min you can expect it to be around 30-35 min, even on a busy day. The staff is friendly as well.

Alright spot on campus to get food after a night out. Pretty quick and relativity cheap compared to other options open at 2-3 A.M. 3 stars because the place seems so sketch with the people just lurking inside plus a little dirty. Wouldn't recommend staying and eating. Another star knocked off because there was hardly any beef with my order or beef and broccoli. P.S. If you track macros or calories just ask for sauce on the side and it's pretty much trackable.
