Manuel's Mexican Restaurant

Food, service & ambiance all received an F+ rating.As we were seated the air or ventilation was absent. Asked the waiter to turn the air up; i was immediately told only the Manager could turn on the air. Manager was no where on site. Then offered to turn on the dust filled ceiling fan that hovered over our booth. There was a fear of thick dust bunnies falling into our food. Next the meal was cheap and poor chewy beef. Never broke down while chewing it. So we spit it our. The chicken was clearly reheated in a microwave and dried out. The queso was served nearly cold and was not traditional ingredients. The is not a great neighborhood restaurant. I recommend a health inspection soon

Drinks and service were good ,I would def return for drinks and prices were beyond reasonable

Great family run business. Staff is friendly and attentive. Top shelf margs are excellent. Cheese enchiladas are my favorite because they don't use the oily stiff cheese. Get the "chunky" guac. Prices are much better than competitors. I love eating here.

Best Mexican food in Summerwood area. Food was so good!The service was impeccable. This is a mom & pop owed restaurant so I love supporting local.Especially when their fajitas are better than corporations.Their michelada sauce is bomb - even with Topo Chicos for us non-alcoholic drinkers. I got the poblano fajita & their carnitas - both had such good flavor & the quality of the meat was solid.Good salsa & tortillas!

Good food good times. Just need to know what you are ordering. Many items seem redundant and easy to make wrong selections. Food prices and good flavor overall. Great for casual family time. Good memories here and I couldn't recall what I liked most so tried a few things without breaking the bank. Large portions.

Used to be in our regular rotation when we lived here. Been at least 5 yrs since our last visit and Manuel's has been on our list of "must-eats when back in Houston."Happy to say breakfast was still as wonderful as we remembered!Huge breakfast tacos and I always enjoy the huevos rancheros. We usually start with some queso and refried beans for DIY nachos.Thanks, Manuel's!! We'll be back next time we're in town.

One of my favorite places to eat breakfast, I usually order chilaquiles with brisket, "Must Try" if you haven't. Staff is great and friendly. Ambiance is hoping with good selection of music.

Food pretty delicious. Just kept hearing and reading about their cleanliness. Even saw roaches mentioned. It's a no more for us.

Old school TexMex. Not fancy but good. We enjoy the weekend breakfasts. The staff is like family.
