When I first came here I would've given it 5 stars. I fell in love with their almond bearclaws that I got at Honor Society (because they warm the food there). But if you come here even just 2-3 times you'll discover how inconsistent this restaurant is. I kept giving them chance after chance to a fault because I understand the difficulties of having young employees. Sometimes the crossiants are buttery, soft and worth purchasing. Sometimes they sell you a crossiant that is a burnt brick. As if they didn't look at it before giving it to you? As if they didn't have to pick it up and put it in a box!Oh, also there is no way to warm the pastries that they make.Therefor if you want a pastry you'll have to take it to go because they didn't work a microwave oven into the budget. If it wasn't for the aesthetic of this place, I do wonder if they would still be bringing in business.I'm afraid this is one of those cases where they had good food and put effort into their business. Just to decide to take a step back before creating a proper systems and training their employees. I've been served cold food here so many times because the employees will just leave your food sitting in the kitchen for 15-20 minutes while chatting with each other. It's sad to see so much wasted potential. If I was the owner I'd fire my entire team and start new. With the exception of the barista. You can at least count on good matcha and coffee! I hate to leave a negative review. I love old town Tomball and always hope for any small business that they are able to turn it around. I'll have to give it another try in a month or so and see if anything has changed.

The ambiance was beautiful. It was giving Martha Stewart vibes, very pleasant and airy with ample seating. The service was great as well. Albeit, a little slow and slightly confusing with the two line situation, but the ladies that helped us were very nice and knowledgeable. The food is where we can easily dock a few stars. We got the gluten-free waffle, gluten-free blueberry scone, cinnamon bun latte, caramel latte, and sausage kolache. It was a little pricey, and the gluten-free waffle was not good. It was dense, with a sour after taste, and the syrup was slimey and not sweet. I understand gluten-free baked goods can be hard to make, but I drove here over 30 minutes due to the hype, and it just didn't live up to it. My boyfriend liked the sausage in his kolache but said that overall, the flavor of the bread fell flat, and it was a little small for the size. I didn't write this to harm this establishment whatsoever because I love that they offered more than one gf item, but it's for them to learn. At the end of the day, we drove out and paid and weren't satisfied with our products.

Just a note: For those unfamiliar to the area, Old Tomball is a historic town with primarily street parking. On a busy weekend, you may have to walk a couple blocks to get here....This is one of the establishments that makes the trip worth it.Quaint exterior boasts an old colonial feel. Inside is chic & modern. The ying & yang aesthetic just works... It's a vibe. There are several seating options inside or on the outdoor patio, so you aren't rushed to leave. Sit around for a while, in true coffeehouse fashion. There's an impressive offering of baked goods & treats, from sweet & savory, chilled or toasted & warm. With so much variety, we had to try a little bit pf everything.... Favorites were the crispy, flaky croissants and the gooey jalapeño cheese pull-apart bread!!! Some of the best we've ever had....Absolutely recommend, jf you're in the area.

When a Yelp Elite tells you to check a place out, check out that place!Do I dare say that this is the cutest coffee shop in Tomball!? I dare.I'll be honest, there are a million stops to get great coffee, and maybe a handful that offer delightful pastries and sandwiches, but on this side of town, very few that offer them with this level of ambiance! Expect levels, textures, open space, indoor plants, friendly service, light chatter, and natural light. Other than that, you'll have to experience this one yourself. Oh, pro tip: arrive early to ensure you have your pick of pastry, and don't fear the sandwiches, they are delicious!

I love this place! I live right next to where the old Manna used to be located, but I'm not even mad that they moved into this space because it's so cute! Lots of greenery. I got a cream puff (for free thanks to a Yelp check in offer) and their cookie butter latte. Both items were good! The service was great as well, the concept here is a little different in where you select your pastries yourself before checking out at the register, and the staff was helpful in explaining that. I'll definitely be back!

My quick take is this place has great pastries, decent coffee, a peaceful atmosphere, beautiful decor, and good wifi but is not a great working spot depending on volume of the tables around you (not something any venue can control). I appreciate that they had a separate shelf for their gluten free items and had little baggies and medium boxes depending on the size of your haul. Definitely a place to bookmark to meet up with friends.

This is a beautiful cafe. I didn't take photos of the inside but as the name suggests it is a Christian owned business & the decor reminds me of the festival of tabernacles and the pastries and drinks are delicious and are aesthetically pleasing. I got the chai latte, soup and grilled cheese & my friends got danishes and coffee. One thing that I will say is that the service was a little bit slow and unorganized but that could be because they're new. It took us a while to get our drinks and my cinnamon roll I had to ask for twice, but other than that, they were really nice and friendly staff and I love most everything else about the place. It is very quiet except for some light chatter. I may come back on a weekday to work** when you sign up for their rewards program, you get a free pastry**

My family came in hopes of being able to support a business that was spread the word. We got there and were amazed at how cute it was. You can tell there was a lot of thought put into the appearance of the place. The service unfortunately needs a lot of work!We received cold food and coffee those of us that did receive the things we ordered. We also were brought three orders that weren't ours and watched as their worker was wondering around with orders. The only good thing I can say about this place is that their food is appealing to the eye however I would not ever pay the prices for what you're ordering. Truly hope they will improve.
