This was the first restaurant I've tried when I went to Miami last week and was one of the better spots I've went to. When you first arrive you are greeted by two shrieking parrots which was cool at first and then annoying after a while. The place itself looked really nice and vibrant. Our server was amazing, I forgot her name but I think it was Kaylene but she made sure we were good and was very attentive. The first drinks we got were really good but the shots were decent (I've had better jolly rancher shots) and kinda overpriced (which was expected for Miami). The food I ordered was delicious! The lemon pepper chicken was wayyyyy different from any lemon pepper I've tasted and I'd definitely choose this one any day. The tacos were decent but nothing to brag about. There was also a live show where they invited my friend up to dance and play which was fun. We spent a bit more than we were expecting but that's how it was all over the area. Overall it was a good experience and would recommend trying if you are visiting but just know you'll be spending a lot.

I had a disappointing experience at Mango Tropical Cafe South Beach. Despite being seated by the entrance, the servers were initially friendly but became inattentive later on. The live performances were mostly hidden as the stage was inside, except for occasional dancers near the main entrance. The food and drinks we ordered, including the jumbo shrimp cocktail, homemade guacamole with extra chips, frozen Margarita, and Cuban coffee martini, were nothing special - quite basic. To my surprise, the bill amounted to around $130 excluding the tip, which was a shocker. I noticed additional charges for mandatory donations, which felt like a rip-off. This place is definitely a tourist trap, and I have no desire to return. Overall, it was not a good experience.

We had a reservation for the mojito room and they sat us in on the first floor. This was our first time here so we didn't know know any better. I thought this doesn't seem right but hey they sat us and even when they others showed up this is still sat them with us on the first level. We didn't know we were in the wrong area until fifteen minutes before we were leaving and we just happened to go upstairs and saw the mojito room. We tried talking to someone that night and they were no help. I have tried calling numerous times and each time I was told that the correct manager wasn't there. This was my friend first time to Miami and we were celebrating her birthday and definitely didn't get the experience. Going to get some type of resolution. Not sure how this happened because any time I have done tables we were seated in the right section.

First time visiting Miami and was told you have to stop by Mangos! We sat at the bar and enjoyed frozen margaritas (strawberry). During lunch entertainment included three men dancing on the bar, a Spanish band, and three women dancing on the bar. My understanding is the evening entertainment is more glamorous and theatrical so I would def go back to watch.

Food: this is not a place to come for food, it's more for the ambiance and vibe. This was the first place we saw after a Long Beach day and we were super hungry and the dancers and music drew us to this place. I got the salmon Cesar salad and it was good. The food is "good". If you are a foodie and food means a lot don't come here. But if you just want a quick bite and want to chat and drink with friends this is the perfect spot for you! Service: the servers mostly speak Spanish so be mindful of that. They are friendly and service was pretty quick! Drinks: drinks were good- I got the mojito with no sugar and it was amazing. Friends got the Aperol spritz and Cuba coffee martini and they enjoyed it

The overall atmosphere was amazing. I will say they did mess up our pre ordered food and parking. They could use better organization with their reservation system and parking. On their website it stated $10 parking for VIP but when we got there we were told $40. We had to let the waitress know after we already got our food that we had prepaid for an appetizer. Also the reservation confirmation email is not very descriptive and confusing. Although these were issues we had a great time. The show was great and staff were very attentive.

We were there on a Monday for my birthday celebration. It was hopping, lively, vibrant & fabulous. Vera was excellent attending to our table. Jessica made it all happen with her wonderful vibe, vivacity & fantastic energy. Jessica is a wonderful asset for your club. She was a perfect, superb & a fabulous host. When we're next in South Beach Miami, we will most definitely return to Mango's. We had a great, fabulous & memorable time there.Mucho Gracias.
