Hey lovelies! Just had an incredible Mediterranean feast at Mandolin Kitchen in Sandy Springs! This hidden gem serves authentic, flavorful dishes that transport you to the heart of the Mediterranean. The hummus and tzatziki were some of the best I've ever had. The grilled octopus is my new favorite--so tender and delicious! The meatballs were juicy and perfect with that amazing tzatziki. #MandolinKitchen #SandySpringsCheese and charcuterie lovers, you're in for a treat! Fresh fruits, meats, and cheeses galore. And the shepherd salad? Packed with crisp veggies and balanced dressing.Dessert was a dream. The San Sebastian cheesecake was heavenly. For lighter options, try the penne pesto (add chicken!) or grilled shrimp.Don't miss the cocktails! The Instabul Rosse with rose flakes and the strong, delicious espresso martini were perfect for a summer night.Highly recommend Mandolin Kitchen for incredible food, lovely atmosphere, and top-notch service.

First time I came here, the food, the atmosphere and the service was great! We went for a late lunch/early dinner and ended up ordering hookah and stayed until 10 pm LOL. A DJ came and started playing some GREAT music giving all the vibes. Anywho, the food: the FRUIT PLATE always hits so I always recommend that. The LAVRAKI (seabass) was great the first time we ordered it, but when we came back another time and ordered it, it was not good at all. Another item that is a hit or miss is the GRILLED OCTOPUS - sometimes cooked perfectly, sometimes overcooked. The inconsistency knocks off a star. Overall, when the food is good, the food is GREAT, but we enjoy the atmosphere the most. Will return.

I frequent Atlanta a lot and always pass by this spot because my friend lives nearby so I decided to stop there after a day of shopping by myself. I decided to sit in the patio area so I could get a hookah. I was pleasantly surprised to find out there was also a dj out there- they were playing some good music and set the vibes! I just got the Sheppard salad, a drink and the hookah. The salad was sooooo good- had great flavor! I sat there for like 2 hours listening to the music, and checking my emails. The waitress was very attentive and didn't mind me sitting there. She kept checking on me and made sure I didn't need anything. At one point the manager came over and offered me an order of their bread as well as a shot! He thanked me for coming in and was very kind! I recommend this spot to grab a quick bite, bring a date or go with a group!

We didn't order any food when we went here, so this review is strictly about the service. It was absolutely terrible, I mean really bad. Our server barely smiled, and took forever to check on us. I really wish I could remember her name (it started with an M and had more than one s in the middle). She disappeared constantly, and when she did walk by, she wouldn't even see if we needed anything. After giving us the check, I had to get up to look for her to give her our card. One of the other staff members saw me looking so they got her attention. Not surprised, young miss was around the corner talking with her coworkers. All that time I thought she was busy on the patio side of the restaurant, now I'm convinced the whole time she was avoiding her customers to socialize. To add insult to injury, they charge an automatic 18% gratuity. For what? There were two people in our party, and our server was unfriendly and detached. Maybe that's why? Because no matter how terribly the job is done, the servers know they'll get at least 18%.

Stopped by here after a movie outing. The person who recommended it said it was a good Turkish spot. Valet is $5 for your car to be parked in a lot behind the building. It's $20 to be parked in the front. On the weekend, after a certain time, it becomes a lounge type place, with security. We were able to be seated immediately. I ordered the watermelon salad, which surprisingly very good. IDK how, but it all works together. It's refreshing. Next, I ordered the shrimp casserole. Very good flavors! Served with rice. This was a hearty dish. However, I was disappointed with the size of the shrimp because the menu said Tiger shrimp. To end it I had the kanfa. omG! This is delicious and a must try! Our waitress was good. I will say another issue I had with them is that hookah can be ordered at any table and I didn't like that. Imagine you're trying to enjoy your meal and the person at the next table is blowing smoke your way. It was good to try and if you're in the area, you might like it.

Located on Roswell road in Sandy spring so it can get a little busy. The restaurant is right on the corner so it easy to get to. They have valet parking which can vary in price. Not too many street parking available so valet would be the best option. As soon as you walk in the bar is only like 2 feet away but the place is actually very spacious. There is a inside part of the restaurant and and outside covered area with TVs and a DJ. The drinks are good but not really strong at all and the food I would have to say is some of the best I've ever had. The hookah was decent but pricey. The bathrooms wait can be a bit long because there is only 2. Overall good vibes if you are in the area. I'll definitely be back.

This place was our selected spot for drinks hookah and dinner for a party of four The good - kabab portions are big, citrus mint and blue mist hookah was great, outdoor heated seating The not so good but ok - baba ghanoush, Istanbul rosso cocktail (light on alcohol), felafelThe bad - hummus was mediocre at best, bread could be fresher. Music got too loud at one point. The second hookah citrus mint and guava did not taste like the flavors requested The ugly - valet is steep at 20$ for this part of town and they included gratuity at 20% for party of four.

Pretty good food, but if you are looking for authentic Mediterranean, this is not. The chicken kebab was a little dry, the shrimp dish was excellent. The service was probably my biggest complaint and I also think it's a bit pricey. I definitely wouldn't rush back, oh you have to pay $20 upfront and five dollars in the back to park.

First and last time. If you want authentic Mediterranean food, this place is not for you. On top of the hummus and tahini being pretty lame, the service is terrible. Mackenzie was our server. She didn't know what beers they had although there are only 4. Our party ordered apps and a burger and she never put in the burger. If you're desperate for a place open late, this will do, as the bread is good and the falafel is decent, but go in with LOW expectations.

Thought it was bit pricy, but you know that their food is so delicious and can't stop eating.I had to order two serves of Kebob, one is Doner, and one was Adana.I came here twice with my friend who took me here and fell in love with the place since my first visit. There are several Turkish restaurants in Atlanta, but this is one of my favorite one for sure!
