Man Kind Sports Bar

Great place in La Porte where there are not many options! Great menu and daily specials. I love their boudin balls. The queso is okay. They have a burger lunch special which sounds great (I have not visited on my lunch hour yet). Nice staff. David is so funny & great to sit at the bar to hear his jokes

I came here for a couple appetizers and they wanted my debit card ahead of time unlike any other bar and when i left i left my wallet on my table and when i cane back for it they all the sudden lost it. Never coming here again. I suggest nobody else come here either unless you want your wallet stolen!

The only good things I can say about my lunch experience here is that the fries was fresh and the service was good. The hamburger was nothing spectacular and the meat patty was very thin. In fact, I think if I had pulled it off the bun and held it to the light, I could have saw my hand on the other side. Come on guys ... pat a man sized patty on it & sling it out there. Make it something to be proud of. I could have got the same meat patty at Burger King with some char-broiled flavor for half the price. It's a whole lot of money for a whole lotta of nothing. No sweet tea? Come on guys, you're still part of the south.

Man Kind is everything you are looking for in a home town sports bar!! Cold beer, full bar, lots of tv's, clean, no smoking in bar, great service...but the best thing is the NACHOS!!! Love love love Man Kind and it's awesome owners and staff!!

Bottle Caps? What are those?Bites of jalapeño heaven. That's what!Visiting from Boston and staying next door - easy trip that we don't regret. Very friendly atmosphere and super friendly staff. Food was pub fare - but that's all we were after. And it was great.

Man Kind is THE neighborhood sports bar! The owners and staff are the sweetest people, and every time I go in a sour mood, they always lift my spirits! Come and watch all the games, control the jukebox, be entertained by live music, support local benefits, and for the love of god get the nachos!

No smoking--what a relief! That made me happy. The place is very clean, almost surgically sterile. New, nice, but very plain. Neutral. Nondescript. There are wall-to-wall flatscreen TVs, so you won't miss your game! A little too bland & personality-less for me, but a definite improvement over the smokey, cluttered-with-signs-&-knick-knacks icehouses we've been going to until now. Great bartender: excellent service!Prices were a little steep. We racked up quite a bill. But the beer was cold & good, & the service was 100% positive & professional (apart from his continuing to serve already-drunk people). The kitchen was closed when we got there (it stops at 10 or 11, I think he said), so we will be back sometime soon to try their food. My night would've been more relaxing had the bartender cut off the yelling, erratically-behaving man who appeared to be drunk & just this side of 21. (There were just 10 people in the bar, & he and his date were right across the bar from us, so they were hard to ignore.) Refusing to serve drunk patrons must be hard, with so few customers there to begin with, and the bartender relying on tips to make a living; the intoxicated person could become belligerent which is extra-awkward. But to let them keep drinking and raising Cain until Last Call makes other patrons uncomfortable and tense. I worry how they're getting home. Hopefully not driving!

This is a nice small little bar off fairmont. The food was pretty and they had several sports games on tv. We played a few rounds of darts and some cold beers.

This is a fun divey bar that has an electronic jukebox, large screen TVs, Golden Tee, darts, and a pool table. Just love our neighborhood bar. Best wings and chicken sandwich. Waiter and waitresses are the sweetest!!!! Owners are so wonderful!!! Make us feel like family!!! Ohhh !!! And nachos are great !!!
