Mamie’s Kitchen Biscuits

Love this place. Did a review on TikTok and they are amazing for breakfast. Haven't tried lunch yet. But you cannot miss a good southern breakfast at Mamies! Enjoy

Not bad, but not exceptional. I agree with the other reviews that say this food needs some seasoning. The egg and cheese biscuits were good. The cheese grits were a little watery and the hashbrowns limp and sad. They tasted like rancid oil. The cooks in the back sounded like they were having fun but the cashier seemed apathetic. The restaurant is very clean and charming. We'll probably try it again.

We decided to take a detour this morning for breakfast and stop in Social Circle, GA. We visited Mamie's Kitchen. It was obviously a popular local spot for breakfast. The staff was friendly. The food was just not our favorite. The biscuits were not to our liking.

Years ago before they branched out to Coviand Social Circle--the spot to be in the mornings was Mamies in Lithonia! The best biscuits and breakfast sandwiches this side of Atlanta! Always so good! The breakfast is amazing! We went last Saturday morning with 3 of our favorite people! Aunt, Uncle, and cousin! They have high chairs for little ones. Family friendly! Pancakes are delicious especially for the kiddos! Sausage and gravy are delicious and their biscuits--too good not to eat! Always melts in your mouth perfection of a divine biscuit! We haven't tried their lunch, yet--but it's on the to do list! They stay pretty packed because well you guessed it:: it's just that good!

Soooooo good!! Not a fan of the sausage (personal preference though) but I absolutely love their bacon/egg/cheese biscuits and also their cheese grits. Always very nice employees. They keep busy all the time. Small wait but that's perfectly okay as I know they are making my food and not just "premade". I've been there quite a lot and get To go most of the time I go. Never got home and had something missing. Which is common in most places. Definitely recommend!!

Food wasn't good. Sausage was tough, pancakes tasted good but were a little tough, eggs and steak were disgusting, cold, and flavorless, they tasted fake. Biscuit was good but just plain, don't put anything in it. Only good thing was the lemonade which I'm sure they didn't make. I will not be returning.

I'm a regular here for lunch. I love their boneless fried chicken breast and it is available everyday. I also try to make sure to go on Tuesdays for their grilled pork chop. Green beans are always outstanding. Also great biscuits for breakfast.

Good breakfast and lunch place. Genuine southern cooking. I have been super pleased with everything except (gasp) the biscuits... I've tried them more than once as I thought maybe they had an off day the first try. Meh- they biscuits are just "ok". To most of the locals those are "fighting words". But I call it as I see it. Biscuits are a craft- some people just don't know how to do them.

Lunch and breakfast are added together and I don't like the turkey patties I rather have the sausage patties instead
