We placed an order on GrubHub; this restaurant self-delivers it's own orders (meaning they send the driver to you, not GrubHub). When our order was 30 minutes late we called them to find out what was going on: they claimed GrubHub told them they would send a driver. This immediately seemed fishy, so we spoke with GrubHub.This was not true. The restaurant is supposed to send a driver. GrubHub calls the restaurant, and apparently the restaurant refused to send out their delivery driver despite the food just sitting there because we are "too far away" (we are less than a ten minute drive).First, do not lie to your customers. Second, if you don't want to deliver because it's raining or there are too many orders, just cancel the order right away rather than making the customer wait. But especially so not lie to your customers: you could have told the truth. Extremely poor customer service.

I only leave good or great reviews. This deserves a great one! I would put this pie up to anything in Boston. One or two a week. Steak and cheese is pretty impressive also.

The subs were fresh and the pizzas are delicious!! Those guys really know how to make great food. They were friendly and personable. To me, the prices weren't bad. I highly recommend this place!

I am in love with Malden House of Pizza. I had it recently at a friend's house and have been dreaming about it ever since. I feel like it's very similar to my favorite pizza Regina. Tonight I got a half cheese/pepperoni and green pepper and a buffalo chicken pizza. It's certainly not cheap but I don't mind paying extra when it tastes this good. And they delivered to me in Melrose (I'm close to the Malden line) so I was very happy.

Under recently new management and ownership, MHOP is making great pizzas like I remember from my childhood. When you call to order, they listen and get it right. The pizza is cooked to order, very tasty and the crust (which makes or breaks a pizza) is just right. I have picked up and have had pizzas delivered. Both are ready when promised. I have not eaten at the restaurant so have no opinion about ambiance. One very minor complaint: when picking up and paying by credit card, the machine suggests a few tip amounts. When picking up, I don't feel a tip is warranted so just want to pay for the pizza, but this choice is a little hidden.I've also had a few sub sandwiches here. They are good but not great. I recommend the pizza. You will not be disappointed.

I decided to try Malden House of Pizza for lunch today.My first and last time I wll be a patron there. I oredered Tuna salad over a Ceasar sald but they gave me a garden/ house salad instead.Also, I found a rubber band in my salad as shown in the photos.Too bad as they seemed really nice but this was a terrible first experience for me!!

Got a few items from MHOP. Been wanting to try them out for a long time. Got a few subs and some pizza and chicken fingers. Food was OK. With the sheer amount of places around Malden and the surrounding areas, you really have to stand out for me to be impressed. This food was OK, but standard for sub shops. For the money, there are better places in my opinion. But worth a shot if your passing by.

This is the best pizza in all of Malden, our favorite is the plain cheese but we have tried others that have been very good. The sauce on the pizza is so delicious and they really listen if you ask for instance to make the pizza a bit crispy.This is a family owned business and they couldn't be any nicer when you call.There Steak and Cheese subs are also amazing, I always order the steak cut very well because of throat issues and they never disappoint. I hope they don't leave us any time soon and keep the same quality and prices that will keep them alive for a long time, especially with the new school offices opening soon.Long Time Maplewood Residents

Not as advertised. Pizza dough was gummy. Skimp on the toppings which is fine but don't charge 24 bucks. Turkey club was 4 slices of turkey. Bread was low quality. I know this place is under new ownership but enough time has passed to get things in order. Hard pass going forward
