Main Street Uncorked

We were enjoying a great cigar and cocktails at Brown Water Cigar Bar when the bartender mentioned their sister establishment. What an absolutely charming place. Upscale martini and wine bar (cocktails too) with a fantastic front patio on Main Street. The decor is modern and tasteful and the place was intentionally overstaffed to ensure that everyone was taken care of. They offer a small food menu (it was late and we had already eaten) and they have 30 wine selections on tap. (yes, you heard that right). We were looking for cocktail night caps and ended up having two delicious custom cocktails a piece. Dirty Harry, Flirty Martini, Sazerac and an Espresso Martini. Absolutely fantastic place to start or end an evening. Plenty of tables and I did see a private room and a bar that you could sit at if you prefer.Whether you live in the area or you happen to be in town or are planning a getaway (we came in from Cypress), I highly recommend trying this big city experience in this small town. Can't wait to come back again.

Excellent food! Simple menus, but very delicious options. Service was very welcoming and knowledgeable. Ambiance was very peaceful and comfortable especially the outdoor patio.

Ate there this week. The service was beyond terrible especially for the price. We waited upward of 20 maybe 30 minutes to get our drinks and then another 20 to get my wife's water they forgot. Each time we ordered drinks it was an extended wait, I can say that the food was really good expect for my wife's soggy in done pizza. There was 4 of us, 2 entries came out at least 10 minutes before the last 2. This meal for 2 was $120...that doesn't include the tip. I left them a bad review on Facebook and they deleted it and blocked me. Never going back to for that level of service at any price!

Fantastic list of martinis, a wide variety of mixed drinks and beers. Surprised to find that they now have a dinner menu. My husband had a meatball (easily 1/3 pound or maybe even 1/2 pound) and I tried the fried shrimp. The meatball on angel hair was delicious and I enjoyed my shrimp although I wish there would've been a side of rice or something instead of just a bed of arugula but it was tasty. Cozy atmosphere inside and out!

Seriously the weirdest visit to an establishment EVER!We loved the ambiance and thought we would have a great end of our evening at about 7:30pm.We decided to go in a room inside with very comfy chairs. We were a party of 6.We had a super friendly waitress and were excited to enjoy our drinks. They had a lovely live singer and we wanted to enjoy the music, so we cracked the window (about 6 inches).The owner (lady) and a man came into the room and made us feel super unwelcome- so rude! Literally in my 48 years, I have never felt this way!We are great clients and support all businesses. This is a shame for the city of Brenham. Will never never come back!

Bartender needed customer service training...not very friendly. Felt like I was a burden...

Good food & really a neat place! We went for a girls night! It was our first time , but our waitress really wasn't the most inviting or much of a friendly person. She wasn't rude, but not really a personality that would be good for a waitress. Then again could have been an "off day" for her. My friends picked up on it immediately.

Love this place, great wine selection, and cocktails. The food is the secret here, we love the charcuterie board, steaks and the flat bread with pesto chicken we had last night. The flat bread can make the angels cry it was SOOO good ! We sit at the bar normally and get great service. Love that it's family owned as well.

I was pleasantly surprised. Nice ambiance and good food! I had a chopped salad, and it was so beautifully prepared, it rivaled any upscale restaurant. And was delicious! Really nice selection of cocktails. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit!

Had been looking forward to trying out this new business. As the location, outdoor area and inside looked so charming. My friend and I walked inside. My friend found a seat for us near the fireplace. I went to the bar to order two drinks and two waters.At the bar we're only a couple sitting. Two male bartenders. Neither acknowledged me. Both seemed very busy and serious. Unfriendly. After 15 mins, of me trying to get them to respond to me. The younger of the two asked what I wanted. I gave my order. He began making the first drink. Then, turns to me and says, are you going to sit at the bar? I answered , no. I'm taking my drinks over by the fireplace. He stops shaking my drink. Turns and says, you have to place your order with a waitress that will come by. I can't make it. What??? I said, your already making my drink order. He says, sorry. What?? Ok. So, I walked over without my drinks and sat with my friend. We waited for another 15 mins. No waitress. My friend got up, went to the bar and asked for a waitress. Finally, one came over. It's now been 30 mins! Gave the order and my credit card to pay to the very unfriendly and disoriented Waitress. She NEVER came back! Again my friend went to the bar and asked where the order was. Another lady, I assume the manager. She was very apologetic says, I'll get it. Brings back one drink. Ugh. Still missing the other drink and my credit card. I flag the lady down. Ask her, can I have my card and I never got the other drink. She profusely apologized and went to find my card. After a total of one hour here!!! I got my card back and the one drink. Which the lady said was on the house. My friend took a few sips. She said, it was very good. The Manager did offer to make me a drink as we were leaving. I declined. We had been there for and hour and needed to leave to go eat dinner with family. As we were walking out, someone called my name! I turned and the bartender was walking behind me with a pink drink. Thanks, but we are literally walking out the door. No, Thanks!*I should also mention while all this was happening. The couple that sat across from us, were very upset & vocal about their missing drink and cheese board! I do hope the Owner/Manager review this and make some changes. As my hometown needs new establishments for a growing population. It's extremely important to train the staff to be friendly, knowledgeable so the customer feels welcomed. Poor service on this scale, will sadly sink a new business.
