I wish I could give a 4.5.We ordered methi malai matar, the taste and consistency was perfect. Went very well with naan. We also ordered tandoori roti, but that was a little hard and chewy.The other thing we ordered is mutton biryani. It was delicious. But it was a bit wet (more masala). Maybe the ratio could have been better.All in all, very good taste, quantity and quality.

Came here with a South Indian friend and it was great! Unfortunately, he is a vegetarian so we only ate vegetarian dishes, but they were still really good. Very flavorful! The chili naan was good, the eggplant dish we had was also good. Next time, I will come back here and try out their dishes with meat. I am a carnivore.The service was good, the dining area really nice. Will come back again!BATHROOM REVIEW: Located past the kitchen, the bathroom was in tip-top shape. Inside there was a urinal and hand dryer, which all worked great. Toilet seemed to be clean, and if not, a handy toilet brush sits right next to it, if you want to take matter in your own hands. Sit or squat? Sit!

Long story short, we had a little bit of everything and everything was delicious! I had a plate that came with some chicken and lamb....both very creamy, spicy, and delicious - very heartwarming. Very generous on the sauce as well (to dip that delicious naan in). Their beer selection is also pretty great, though I can't remember which one I tried, it was pretty tasty. My partner ordered sampler plate along with a lentil soup, which she loved! For dessert, I ordered some gulab jamun, which were of course, delicious. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience and my want for some good indian food was overwhelmingly satisfied here. The only thing that had us a little confused was that we ordered a tea and that took a really long time (well after our meal) to get to us....But I encourage everyone who wants to try some great indian food to check this place out!

The food was unbelievably delicious here and the service was excellent as well. The waiters were very attentive, friendly and helpful. This was my first dining in experience at an Indian restaurant because usually do take out and it was awesome! The food was super delicious in every way; especially, the mixed rice dish, curry tofu, garlic naan, and butter chicken. The ambiance was very pleasant and family friendly. I would definitely recommend that you visit this lovely restaurant and check out their delicious cuisine.

Terrific Indian food, great service, comfortable surroundings, Maharaj Indian Grill has all of those. Love the butter chicken, the Tikka masala, the naan. The tandoori chicken was maybe a little too dry. The staff are welcoming and super helpful, willing to entertain special requests, adjust pacing as needed, and generally make you feel well looked after. My one issue is that pricing is pretty high, but for food and service like this I don't mind too much. We'll definitely be back.

Im happy that the farther we go north in Chicagoland, there isn't a lack of Indian food restaurants. I can't say enough of Maharajan Indian Grill and the delicious food they consistently offer day in, day out. We usually order chicken masala, achar gosh, one of the many curries(goat is our favorite), garlic naan, tandoori chicken and biryani.The service matches the food as they never forget a face. Whenever we order from there and my daughter accompanies us, they usually offer her a mango lassi because they know she loves it. The decor inside is also very nicely done. Consistency is important when it comes to food and time and time again, they continue to deliver.

What a great find! I had no idea this place existed, took the family out to lunch over the holidays and we were not disappointed. The food was plentiful, tasty and good; portions and presentation are perfect for sharing. The space is quaint and was full of appreciative diners who were enjoying the same. The service was very warm and friendly. This venue features a full bar and the lunch menu hours can be affordable. If you have not visited, be sure to add this place to your hit list and support a local business. We will be back!

I was only very recently exposed to Indian cuisine in Fargo, ND, so I wanted to see how other places by my office stacked up. I don't think I'll go any further than Maharaj Indian Grill - the Chicken Tikka Masala was extraordinarily delicious, although next time I'll up the spices. The rice and naan complimented the meal very nicely. Be warned tho - rice is NOT included, but is relatively inexpensive to add on.Thank you - I'll be back to try other dishes!
