Came here twice, the first time was around noon on a Saturday, the pastries were super fresh, the service was crappy though. The second time I came at night, like one hour before closing, the food was stale/old but the service was amazing.Summary: come early so you can get the freshest pastries, if you go before closing, they will be stale.

It's really hard to come across coffee shops in Miami for some reason, but I recently found this one and it was exactly what I was seeking! We bought a bag of their beans to enjoy at home and it's been great. Top notch! The spot is cute on a side street within Edgewater and the workers are knowledgeable.

Read of a new coffee shop in the midtown/Edgewater area and so glad I came to check it out! Parking can be tricky but you're likely to find street parking close by (or a few blocks away). This coffee shop is awesome! Great aesthetic and even better coffee. I ordered an iced latte and a palmerita. The iced latte was top notch. Great espresso flavor. The palmerita had an odd taste so didn't eat it but still got to appreciate what a cool spot this is. Staff is kind, with great customer service. They have plants, cute gifts, and sell their awesome espresso. There's a couple of tables and some bar seating. They may drink options + pastries. Can't wait to come back again soon!

First timer here, and the quality of the coffee was amazing. The cortado and iced latte were absolute perfection. The salmon croissant surprised me because I've never tried a croissant in which salmon was baked inside a croissant with cream cheese - unexpected but oh-so-good. The dough itself was soft and flaky, with beautiful layers and a crispy outside. And the Basque cheesecake? Divine. The texture was perfect - soft and creamy in the middle with a slightly burnt top. The balanced sweetness gives you an opportunity to fully feel the vanilla and taste of cream cheese without being distracted by the crust.Chocolate and almond croissants flirting with me from the display - next visit's must-tries. The lineup of savory pastries looked tempting as well. The space is so cozy - perfect spot to unwind, savor every sip, and get lost in the layers of those croissants.

I love this neighborhood coffee shop! I am so grateful for this place. They have the best matcha, the almost delicious pastries (collab with Caracas Bakery), the vibes are always on point, great music, lighting, plants!

Absolutely loved the ambiance here! It's filled with plants and has a relaxing coastal vibe. The drinks and pastries are pricey, but they are tasty. I got the cappuccino- I enjoyed it while doing some work at the bar. The baristas are super friendly and offer great recommendations. The shop is also dog-friendly and has street parking right outside if you get lucky.I'd say I've had tastier coffee for a better price, but the ambiance makes up for it. Overall, I would add Magdalena as part of the coffee shops I'd visit in Edgewater for its ambiance. Worth checking out!

Best Coffee of 2024 ⁉Tucked away in a building close to the busy Biscayne Blvd you'll find Magdalena. The aesthetic in this place is beautiful. The greenery truly brings life to the store, coupled with the wooden touches, everything about this place screams life. Then your eyes catch a glimpse of what's behind their display case: @Caracas Goods. Wow. Without a question, we know that Caracas exudes quality pastries. Now... what we came for... Coffee I won't pretend to be a coffee expert. It's very seldom that I can tell the difference between a roast, however, Magdalena's Espresso Flight was the exception. The flight included 2 different espresso shots: OBATA / LEMPIRA and PARAINEMA. One of which was undoubtedly sweeter than the other. We also had the Nitro, which unlike many nitros it was smooth and did not leave us with the jittery feeling afterwards. I can't wait to come back and become a regular Espresso Flight - $6Nitro - $6Cachito - $6Croissant - $6

Cute lil coffee shop. Love the vibes, the music is low and relaxing you can definitely work, read or study here( free wifi) . Coffee is yummy food is tasty, the pastries are good, i had the chicken pastry and it was delish. The pastry cream danish was too hard and the sweet lady changed it for a hazelnut croissant ( still too crunchy for a pastry) i think they get over baked when reheated therefore they get hard quickly. I wish there were more salty options for lunch. Overall very nice spot!

I was visiting Miami and looking for something other than chain coffee shops. Stumbled upon this location and spent some time in there enjoying the coffee and breakfast croissant sandwich. The baristas were all super friendly. Magdalena has a really pretty interior and the wifi was pretty good!

$8 pour over. $8 banana bread. Cute location, but they didn't seem to really have a ton of house plants for sale (that I saw). They were selling a pizza cutter and other stuff though. I was expecting more tbh. Good selection of coffee. I felt the beans of high quality but not my favorite flavor. Basic pastry spread. No full breakfast type options. Service was friendly. Order took its time to come out. I took mine to go. Good packaging, but pricey for to go in my opinion. I was about to drop a three star, but the banana bread was so outstanding I'm rounding it up to a four. I would return for this alone.
