I am so pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. I have had Thai all over North America with some of the most memorable dishes in Toronto and New York City but this restaurant has made my top 3. I never could have imagined this gem tucked away in Pennsylvania. The food was amazing and unique. The chicken khao soi was a little spicy and a little sweet but absolutely perfect. The waitress we had was so sweet and attentive, the food was hot and perfectly cooked. Overall I have no notes. I can't wait to come back.

Very friendly service and super convenient location. It's got a nice vibe despite the small location; no fast food hustle at all. If you like it hot, ask for hot! The default is very weak, yet they'll make it Thai hot if you know you want it like that.

Another excellent meal. The spring rolls were crispy and delicious. I was given a delicious treat to try, a glass of Butterfly Pea Flower tea. I looked it up later and it comes from a stunningly beautiful blue flower, and tastes like sweetened ice tea. It was both a beautiful color and delicious, and I very much appreciate the kind gesture.I have a Thai friend who recommended this place to me. I tried her favorite, which is #44, the Kua Kai Noodles. The kitchen was good about substituting shrimp instead of chicken, and it was a very flavorful dish. Next time I plan on trying the Duck Noodle Soup.

First takeout order in the books. Super easy to order online and food was hot and ready upon arrival. They are attentive to notes since my kiddo askes for no bean sprouts in her pad thai and it was without. Peanuts tucked in a corner too in case you don't want them in every bit. Nice little touch.Sticky white rice was just the right amount and in cute packaging.Crab rangoon stuffed and nice and crispy. My dish was the Chili Basil (Chili, basil, garlic, green bean, bell pepper, onion, savory brown sauce) requested medium and it had a nice subtle spice. Brown sauce was more watery than savory, but tons of fresh vegetables and one of the healthier dishes I've ordered before from this type of restaurant. My wife really enjoyed the Drunken Noodle and it was very yummy. Not greasy at all. Highly recommend.

First time trying this place out, ordered Chicken Pad Thai, Chicken GREEN Curry, 2 Papaya Salad (One Laos style and one Thai style). Pad Thai is okay, not very good compared to a bunch of other places but not bad. Green curry but was given yellow curry. The curry flavor is lacking and bland. The papaya salad is NOT even worth getting for the amount that is given, you also ONLY get 2 pieces of Shrimp for the price. If you want real good papaya salad, Go to the FDR park on the weekends, similar prices for more and better flavor.. Friendly but food quality is not worth the price.

We enjoyed a very nice lunch today. The food was delicious and portion size was large. Also not a long wait! The service really was excellent. I especially enjoyed the Crab Rangoon, milk tea and drunken noodles. Next time I will try their boba tea. The restaurant is small, but clean & quiet. A Very good place for a nice lunch with friends. I wish I would have taken photos because the food was presented beautifully, but I was so hungry lol! They also have take out. If you're craving Thai food, then this is a great place to try out.

Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by an eager and enthusiastic wait staff. She was pleasant and courteous. Food was fair to very good (split decision, but good win out). My wife said her pad Thai was just OK, and she had it better elsewhere. I was looking for something on the light side, so I opted on a mixed vegetables with chicken. The flavor was good, but I was thinking there weren't too many chicken pieces. I was so glad that it wasn't too sweet like some of Asian eateries in a food court. Lard was refreshing though as you approached the bottom of the plate the spicy lime dressing got really spicy according to my daughter. Yellow curry with vegetables was very enjoyable. Overall, it was a very nice Family dinner on Saturday at Mae Ploy. I'm willing to go back and give it another try. Oh yeah, my daughter whipped out a $10-off-on-$50-bill coupon from her purse, so I was able to save some money (20%). Good food and good company, (and $10off coupon) are win win combinations. If you're in the area, why don't you give it a try!

So I'll say, this isn't my favorite Thai restaurant, but the food is quite good. One really nice thing about this place is the side variety of options. Many local Thai spots focus on noodles, stir fry, and curries, and this place certainly has all of that. But they also have some interesting options, like duck on the roll, and the Thai style sweet and sour chicken. I've seen lots of takes on Thai S&S, but it's not overly common in this area. This take is quite similar to Chinese takeout, but the sauce is much, much better. The chicken is also incredibly crispy, so quite satisfying. The Khao Soy is also quite good, but unlike other takes on it, they use a noodle very similar to ramen. They also fry up their egg noodles for their topping instead of thinner noodles like I've seen elsewhere. The noodle dishes are good, but I was disappointed by the portion size. It was enough, but pretty much everywhere else in the area gives enough for two meals, and more so much here. Possibly just a one off, though. So yeah, give this place a shot! For curries, still not my favorite, but their wide variety of options and still-tasty offerings are worth giving this place a try.

Some of the most flavorful, genuinely drunken noodles I remember ever having. Friendly but not overbearing service. Cute interior. Highly recommend! I plan to come back with friends.
