Madis Coffee

My iced chai was delicious! Glad I had the chance to stop by here. Place was quite packed with people studying, it had a studious vibe to it. Some outdoor tables too for when the weather is nice.

Madis is a very cute coffee spot with lots of seating, but it also gets extremely busy. Their drinks are definitely pricey, but you're paying in part for the ambiance and quality coffee. I came here in the early afternoon thinking that I would beat the Drexel rush, but even at ~1:30pm it was absolutely packed. Be prepared to potentially hunt for a table, because even though there are plenty of seats, there are also plenty of people! I got a ginger vanilla latte and ended up paying over $8! It was a solid latte, but there was no ginger flavor at all. The prices of coffee have skyrocketed in the past few years so I understand that ~$6-8 is standard for small coffee shops now, but at that price it should at least taste as advertised.I will probably try to find a different coffee spot so I don't have to fight for seating, but madis clearly already has a loyal fan base for good reason.

Loved Madi's -- my only complaint is that I wish I lived closer so I could come here more often. I ended up getting an iced latte, which they gave to me in a reusable cup (I like that they offer cups for dining in); I thought the quality of the espresso was great I enjoyed the array of pastries that were on display, and I noticed they had some fun seasonal flavors for Valentine's Day. I would've tried those if I saw those in advance.In terms of the seating, there are a decent amount of seats available for people to get work done, though I found it a little cramped at times. I will definitely come back soon!

I don't come this way often so this is my first time trying Madis. I am glad there is another coffee shop other than Starbucks. There are other coffee shops around, but they become kind of redundant in what they serve, vibe, and attitudes. I was surprised how spacious it is inside, but the outside seating area is also a nice size. The ordering counter feels a bit cramped, but no big deal. The workers were all friendly, down to earth, and helpful. My daughter and I both ordered cinnamon honey spiced latte, one cold and one hot. It was a really nice drink, right amount of spices, and not too sweet. Since this is near Drexel University there are lot of students so most tables were taken with students studying. Next time I may come back when the students are on their break

There is a new coffee shop in the area that has only been open for a few months, so everything looks new and bright!It offers a good selection on the menu and has a warm environment. Both indoor and outdoor areas are available.

Came in around 7:20 am on a Monday and it was nice and quiet. The space is brightly lit and has plenty of tables which I am grateful for as I want to come back and study here. The menu is comprehensive with everything from smoothies and cold brews to lattes and teas. Getting my order in was a pleasure and I signed up for their rewards with my phone number! Everything came out quickly and I really like that they let you pour your own milk from a little side bar area if you wanted to add any to your black drink, random but the milk bottles were cute too lol. The plain bagel with cream cheese tasted great and was toasted perfect, the cold brew I got I kept simple, just adding in some oat milk. Cold brew was nice and smooth and strong enough to wake me up for the day. I will come back tomorrow morning to try something new :)

The tea is bomb like the cold fruit teas and stuff in the front bro they use the coffee bean flower or something for the caffeine but the taste and profiles of each one is actually really good plus the vibe and people working there made it a whole lot better I'd come here for a quick stop or to get some work done this is a place u can spend a few hours affogato on the list for next time so stay tuned !

First time here. Pretty varied selection of pastries/baked goods. Coffee is roasted in-house and is behind a glass half-wall inside. Plenty of indoor seating, but fills up fast especially for working college students. There is also an outdoor seating area that must be accessed from inside the establishment. Service was good, wasn't super busy when I got there so got my drink quickly but wouldn't say the baristas were super friendly. Iced chai latte was good, I wish the chai was a little stronger but would definitely get again. After tax, a small (16 oz) was $5.02 which is cheaper than Saxbys. Closes at 6pm. Good ambience, will definitely be back.

Friday July 26th 2024, My Daughter and My Niece came there in the afternoon to have coffee and a pastry.As soon as they walked in, everyone stared at them (they are both Muslim Women who wear black). It was crowded but my Daughter saw seats.My Niece went to the counter, very nice, and asked the person were there any seats in the back. She was told NO, VERY STERNLY . My Daughter knew that the person at the counter did not want them there so my Daughter told my Niece, come on lets get out of here. I wish I would have been there with them because I am not a Muslim Woman and I would have let them know exactly what I thought of them. This is the 1st time my Daughter has been discriminated against because of her religion. My Daughter was very uspet because she thought the establishment looked very nice. WHOEVER DOES NOT LIKE THIS REVIEW, OH WELL TOO BAD.

Great setting for getting work done and studying. Free WiFi. The spinach feta croissant was delicious- I ended up taking a second to go. Breakfast sandwich was egg-cellent. Cold brew latte was good but could use some sweetener. Avocado toast was okay- good bread but avocado was very lemony. Staff was patient.
