Mac's Club Deuce

"The Deuce," as locals call it, is the oldest bar in Miami Beach (and Miami-Dade County for that matter). I lived in Miami Beach for 10 years and the Deuce is always at the top of my list for beer break and other libations to escape the summer heat, especially during their long happy hour. It's dark and the A/C is on full blast. During happy hour, all drinks are 2 for 1. You pay and you get a chip for your second round. Cash it in then or pocket it for later. You're not going to find a Modelo Especial anywhere on the beach for $7, much less a pair of them. Locals come here for a reason.One of the absolutely best things about Mac's Club Deuce is the staff. In the 20+ years I've been going there as a local and a tourist, they've always employed great bartenders who are prompt, friendly and professional. I want to give a special shout out to Jason, who served us on multiple days during our August 2024 trip. Super friendly guy and very inviting. Thanks, Jason!Side note: The bar is full-liquor and is cash only. Smoking is permitted, so there's no food served, but the best sandwich in the world is across the street at La Sandwicherie.

Ah yes, Club Deuce. A divey divest of dive bars. A unique drinking establishment where cash is king and the nearly endless happy hour is indeed mostly "happy". You come here for the dim vibe of a dive bar, a place stuck in a past that is simple, Smokey, and quaint and we wouldn't have it any other way. This place is not for the "weak of heart", or "soft folks", but it is a place where you will find all walks of life enjoying their spirits. It's patrons and employees mean business, so come respectful, correct, and just relax, order your beer or whisky neat and enjoy yourself. It's filled with regulars, irregulars, and brave tourist alike, and If you accept Club Deuce for the rough gem that it is, the soul of the bar will shine upon you and its people will embrace you with a mutual unspoken welcoming. Be cool, enjoy your beer, play a round of pool, buy the winner a beer, have a good time, that's what this place is for.

Knew of this place as being a big Anthony Bourdain fan, who used to frequent this bar. Actually noticed it walking to the nearby Walgreens. Went straight to the bar after and it was just like I expected. Typical old school dive bar, that is cash only (I knew that already). Ordered a shot of Jameson and Corona, which is simple as it gets. Don't come here looking for fancy, over the top cocktails. Enjoyed my drinks as I just observed everyone around the bar. Didn't stay long as we were going to another area nearby. Just glad to say that I had a drink here.

Anazing dive bar that's always packed, day or night, what a Goldmine! The bartenders are witty, fast, and attentive, be ready to order with cash in hand, no credit cards accepted! The jukebox has a killer selection of classic rock, heavy, metal, and some classics from the 50s! I also love that you're able to smoke cigarettes or cigars inside, five stars for that, there are not many places that you can go to smoke and enjoy a shot and a beer anymore, kudos to Max club deuce!

Solid dive bar. As to be expected with most true dive bars, it's cash only. We had no issue getting change on our tab (which someone was an issue mentioned in another review). Very dark bar, and smoking is allowed (always a surprise to us from MN). The bartender was especially informative and friendly... however... they did scoop ice into a glass with their hand, which was not a good look even for a dive bar. Not sure if they serve food.Side note, there is a review claiming racial profiling, with a comment that the bartender asked card or cash app... I'm thinking this review may be for another spot considering it is a cash only bar.
