Had the best Colombian coffee on our way to Key West Drive. Great start to the day.They offer variety of coffee and desserts as well. The ambience was very nice.

Visited Macondo (Doral) on a Sunday, and it was a great experience (it's at the corner of a mid-size shopping center, and there was plenty of available parking on the Sunday (June 23, 2024) that I went).This place is a mix between a cafe, a restaurant, and a modern cafeteria. As soon as you walk in, you'll see a giant chalkboard menu to the right, well-designed for easy viewing while waiting to order. Once you place your order, you'll receive a number to take to any available table.The food was fantastic! Fresh, flavorful, and just right.* El Gringo wrap was amazing, especially with picante sauce (my husband's favorite).* The guava croissant cookie was a pleasant surprise, warm and fresh. (I personally enjoy sweet guava desserts, so if you not into guava this may not be your thing, but I always recommend trying everything once--you never know).* Dulce de leche pancakes were delicious, not too sweet or heavy.*The avocado toast was fresh and tasty.* I had a cappuccino with almond milk (no sugar), which was awesome. *My husband ordered an iced matcha with almond milk, and it was excellent, smooth without the usual matcha aftertaste. * We also had freshly squeezed orange juice, which was naturally fresh and not overly sweet.There was a live singer, singing and playing acoustic guitar, which was a nice surprise.I definitely recommend anyone to check out Macondo (Doral)!

Horrific. The fact that this place has such good reviews is beyond shocking. Solely came here because of the great reviews, but was met with pure disappointment. Place was packed and I understand that is out of their control. However, once we ordered and found a table, food took at least 30 mins to arrive. With 2 hungry toddlers, you can bet my friend and I were counting down the minutes. Iced lattes were absolutely DISGUSTING. No additions or sugar etc made it any better. Service was awful and unprofessional. Asked for a plate and the lady never came back again. My friend ate on a NAPKIN because we were so desperate to get out of there. When the same lady came to bus our table, she literally hovered over me with her arm in between my toddler and I without saying excuse me... it was just so odd. To top it off, the food was pretty bad. I am 99% sure the pancakes are pre-made, frozen pancakes. Not only bad but TINY, nothing like I've ever seen at any breakfast or brunch spot. And the texture, sooo hard! McDonald's pancakes are probably also frozen but they are at least fluffy and soft, much more similar to a normal pancake than this place. Everything was so bad, I really am in awe at the good reviews. Food, coffee, service - everything was bad - and EXPENSIVE! $60 for 2 iced lattes, 1 egg wrap, and 2 four-inch pancakes. Did we really have such horrible luck on every aspect of the experience OR is this place just not it?? I don't know but don't try and find out, just do yourself a favor and pick another restaurant.

Hmmm....where do I start? From the outside, Macondo seemed like another hole-in -the-wall on the corner of a small shopping strip surrounded by warehouses with 16-wheeler trucks buzzing by.However, when I opened the door to the place, the intoxicating aroma of freshly brewed coffee made me forget the outside world and all my worries, ahhhhh....and the ambiance was chill with some people busily working on their laptops. The wood decor gave the place a warm fuzzy feel. The order counter was directly facing the entrance door and the menu is high up on the right on a huge blackboard neatly written in by hand. There were all kinds of delicious dishes including an assortment of vegan meals. I placed my order at the counter, paid, and was given an order number on a stick and instructed to place it on the table of my choice.Soon thereafter, the food was brought to my table. The hot mocha and my husband's cappuccino was deliciously flavorful. The food seasoning made my heart sing. The servers were courteous and responsive.Lovely place to visit at least once. However, I plan to come by regularly in the near future!

I've been here several times actually! Love this place is so cute and quaint! I love the ambiance, and the food is amazing as well, the quinoa arepa, the pan de bono, the coffee, the avocado toast? I love it! And of course the service is great as well!

I don't do a lot of 5 stars mainly because I'm just honest and old school. But this place has caught my attention. First off, I am a coffee girl and the Carmel Frappe was good. Then the Egg bacon and cheese croissant was absolutely delicious and that's coming from a picky eater especially food I didn't make myself. The restaurant itself had a little too much going on, but it was cute and I can grasp what they are trying to say by the decor and energy the restaurant holds. The staff was adorable in the sense of being calm and all smiles which we all know in Miami, that is rare these days. I will definitely be heading back for more and recommending to everyone. Thank you for a great experience.

Cute space with indoor seating.Coffee was good and my Ironman dish was decent. I just wish the potatoes were more seasoned.Plenty of parking.Service was fast!

Came here with family from out of town and they all enjoyed it thoroughly. There was a little bit for everyone as far as options. Service was good and the place had a very unique aesthetic.

I loveee this place!!! food is good and fast, love the vibe of the place and the smell of cofee!
