So many banchan options!!I love the kimchi here! It is freshly prepared and costs around $10 for a medium-sized plastic container.

I've been coming here for years and never knew it had a separate listing as it's located within HMart, the famous Korean chain market. It has, on more than one occasion, made throwing dinner together in a pinch, simple!This place has the freshest, most delicious prepared traditional and more fusion Korean foods! My favorite is by far their stewed spicy tofu with the veggie vermicelli as a runner up. I've also tasted their green bean pancakes, veggie dumplings, mixed peppers, pickled cucumbers, fresh salads and stewed sesame spinach. All are very tasty and priced appropriately for the portions. I try to taste something new each visit and with the vast offerings of foods they offer, I have no problem doing so. This kimchee is fantastic and comes in a variety of flavors. The fam favors the radish. They also have quarts of freshly made soup such as soon dooboo cheegay and oogawji haejang gook. Most recently I saw Pop Chips, which seems like an odd fit, but I'm not complaining. Yum! 2 bags for $5 My brother who lived in Korea ana my sister in law who is Korean think these are some of the most authentic tasting dishes around. Whether you're an expert in the cuisine or looking to venture out a bit from your norm, this is a great place to come. While the ladies speak little English, I have never really had an issue communicating regarding the food and what's in each dish. Carnivores, pescatarians and those with plant based diets will all equally be satisfied shopping here. $10cc minimum.

I had their spicy pork lunch box last Monday. The pork tasted a little funny but didn't bother to take it back. And you guessed what happened. FOOD POISONING!! They must have used old meat in making the lunch box. Never again!

This amazing Korean take out only establishment is in The H-Mart Plaza located @ Cheltenham &Old York Road. It is right next to where H-Mart begins, across from Paris Baguette.They have an incredible selection of delicious hot and cold prepared foods.Outstanding choices to die for are the spicy chicken pieces(breast) w/sweet & sour sauce, wings(rival Cafe Soho, but cheaper), and the spicy blue crab soup.Everything I have tried here has been nothing short of fresh and delicious. Other items you can't go wrong with are the Soft Tofu Seafood Soup, japchae,(although I prefer the H-mart japchae cause you get like twice as much for the same price),the fried squid,gimbap, box lunches, mak kimchi,and savory pancakes.Their prices are incredibly reasonable with most things $5-$6. The box lunches are $6 and I had an amazing one last week consisting of Beef Bulgogi, Rice, Kimchi, Japchae, 2 pan fried savory dumplings and one sweet fried thing that I had no idea what it was 'cept it was incredible! I think it was some type of deep-fried flour-type ball of goodness.I'm still dreaming of that lunch. Not all items are always available. There sometimes is a bit of a language barrier; however most things are labeled and the woman who work there are friendly ans will help you as much as they can.I always check in on this place when I shop @ H-Mart to see if they have the Spicy Blue Crab soup. Today I lucked out and they had some. There was a woman who was buying like 10 qts. of the stuff. Turns out she is taking back home to Wisconsin to freeze it. You know it's special when folks come from out of state to buy it.Some of their foods are pretty spicy for occidental palates; but isn't that what Korean food is supposed to be? I love this place!

Love how homey this place is! If you are ever in need of authentic korean street/side dish/soup but don't want to spend tons of money... this is the place!

Fresh Korean food! Bulgogi, Kimchi, you name it, you can probably find it here. Marinated, packaged, and ready for you to take home and cook!. Everything looked great, but I will admit that we didn't end up buying anything. I will definitely grab something for dinner here the next time we stop in.

I always stop in here when I go to H-Mart. They have a great selection of prepared foods - salads & side dishes, kimchi, stews & soups, marinated meats, kimbap, and so much more. It's fun just looking at everything they have to offer. I love their kimbap and japjae, their spicy beef stew is also amazing. Definitely stop in here on your next trip to H-Mart!
