Lyons Supermarket

I was going to tell you all about this grocery store, but if I told you I knew any details, I'd be Lyons to myself.This is the convenience store to the east of downtown in a pretty low-rent area. It's a little rough but it's not too bad.They have pretty high prices on stuff, and that can be expected from any given convenience store as you would expect. It's a bit shady going in and out oftentimes and that's why I tossed it a 3. Rather than the 4 I was considering.

I live pretty close to this place and did not feel like driving too far for just a couple of generic groceries. I knew that this place would not be super nice and was a little nervous but it was during the day. On the way into and out of the store I was approached by a few individuals...well, I was hit on, and not a fun kind. Although they had what I needed, I will not go back without a male with me. The location, atmosphere, and clientele made me uneasy.

Alright, so I live in the Warehouse District and thought that this place would have a last-minute ingredient that my wife needed but they didn't. Granted, the item was a bit odd and the big HEB on Buffalo Speedway didn't have it either so I'm not sure what I expected.This place is certainly smaller than your typical grocery store but could easily be counted on for the basics. The neighborhood is not the best, so I wouldn't let my wife go without me.
