I originally had my sights set on Spice Island, but as I was heading that way, I spotted Lupitas and decided to give it a try - and I'm so glad I did! From the moment you walk in, Lupitas exudes the feel of authentic Mexican cuisine. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, perfect for families or anyone looking for a cozy meal. Now, let's talk about the food - I had the Carne asada tacos,Shrimp fajitas, Birria tacos and they were amazing! Everything came out hot, and you could taste the freshness in every bite. One thing I really appreciated is that you can actually see into the kitchen, and it's clear that everything is made fresh to order. If you're in Stone Mountain and craving real Mexican flavors, Lupitas is definitely worth checking out. You won't be disappointed!I've

This place is one of my favs. Anyone saying the food here is bad has no idea about authentic Mexican food and is clearly just being a tool for the sake of it Food here is excellent. Having been lucky enough to spend a lot of time in multiple places in Mexico from D.F to Oaxaca to Baja to Tulum, I can assure you the food here is on-par. You could be forgiven if you thought this comida was in SoCal, that's how good it is for US standards, the fact that it's found in Stone Mountain GA is just amazing! Their quesabirria tacos and their regular street tacos are awesome. Their multiple variants home made salsa are great! And now they have a beer and liquor license... what's not to LOVE!

I saw that this restaurant opened in my neighborhood and couldn't wait to try it. They had me at authentic Mexican food. We went on a Saturday when we happened to be in the area and we're the only ones inside. The young lady at the counter helped us decide on Quesabirria and took her time explaining each food item we questioned. She apologized for not being able to express herself well because English is not her first language. I assured her she was doing just fine and she was. She was so sweet and kind and explained each and every item we asked about. The food is cooked to order so you get hot, fresh food. We also got horchata that was made fresh and tasted amazing. The Quesabirria came with a bowl of soup and she also dropped off some sauces to our table. The food tasted amazing. You could taste the fresh ingredients and the love that went into it. I can't wait to go back. I've been telling anyone who will listen about my amazing experience here and how good the food tastes. The service!!!!! The service is exceptional!!!!! If you appreciate good service with your meal, then this is the place for you. I loved the decor and decorations in the seating area as well. Everything was really pretty, neat, and clean. Even the music playing was good; not too loud at all.

My husband and I love tacos and were happy to see a new Mexican spot opened nearby. It's in the plaza behind the Zaxby's off Redan & Hairston so there's plenty of parking in front of the restaurant. Our first time dining here, we ate inside. It's very cozy inside, felt authentic. We ordered the birria tacos, chicken tacos and steak tacos. Service inside was decent. Our food felt fresh, made to order. We have been here a few times when we crave tacos. I do think the birria could use a bit more flavor and I don't care for the chickpeas in the soup (my husband loves it) but the other options on the menu we've tried haven't disappointed!

LunchFirst time here, will not be there last time. Real authentic Mexican food cooked fresh. Steak quesadilla and the nachos are definitely hitting. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing. Jarritos pineapple and fruit punch compliment the food. If I could give 10 I would. Abbie was an amazing waitress. Loved it all!!!!

The place looks nice. Customer service was okay. The food didn't have no taste. There was more rice in the burrito more than anything else. The salsa was just a disrespect to the Mexican culture. They need to change the name cause this is not authentic Mexican food. Please don't waste your money!!

Bland and I could hardly swallow the refried beans they just felt thick and greasy going down. The rice was very dry and the quesadilla flavorless. Literally the worse Mexican by Mexicans I've ever had.

My recent experience at Lupita's Kitchen Authentic Mexican left me with mixed feelings. While there were aspects of my visit that I appreciated, there were also some disappointments.Let's start with the positives. The customer service at Lupita's Kitchen was truly exceptional. From the moment I entered the restaurant, I was greeted with warm smiles and a genuine willingness to assist. The staff members were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They were happy to answer my questions and offer recommendations. The level of service definitely enhanced my dining experience and made me feel valued as a customer. On the other hand, I was not particularly impressed with the gorditas I ordered. The sauce accompanying them was flavorful and had a nice level of spiciness, but the gorditas themselves were lackluster. The texture was a bit dry and the flavors didn't quite come together as I had hoped. I expected a more authentic and memorable taste, but unfortunately, they fell short of my expectations.Despite my disappointment with the gorditas, I appreciate that taste preferences can be subjective, and others might enjoy them more than I did. It's possible that other menu items at Lupita's Kitchen may be more successful in delivering an authentic Mexican culinary experience. In conclusion, while I can't wholeheartedly recommend the gorditas at Lupita's Kitchen Authentic Mexican, I must emphasize the exceptional customer service I received during my visit. The attentive and friendly staff truly made a positive impact on my dining experience. If you're looking for a place with top-notch service, Lupita's Kitchen might be worth a visit. However, I would advise exploring other menu options to find the dishes that truly shine at this establishment.
