We love Luna!!Our first time here was on a trip to check out Raleigh-Durham before we moved here. Since relocating, we've eaten here at least half a dozen times, and also frequent their Downtown Durham location. Both are wonderful, but if we had to pick a favorite, we love the Carrboro location. The patio is spacious and lovely, service is always excellent, their drink program is always on-point, and the food is excellent!!I enjoy the Pollo a la Brasa, perfectly cooked Peruvian chicken served with a yellow mustard sauce and (my favorite) Aji Verde green sauce. Their chimichuri is also on point, as is their pulled pork, steak, and sides. All great! Parking can be a challenge, but there's a municipal lot across the street (near the train tracks) and there's a city lot not far away. So no excuses...head over to Luna to chill on the patio with a cocktail and some delicious food. Tell 'em Josh sent ya!!

This place is a popular choice amongst many people in the area. Contrary to popular opinion, I think the entrees are too plain and simple for my liking hence the 3 star review. The food here is decent although I leave every meal still hungry and expecting more. The cocktails are pretty good and on par with the other restaurants in the area. That being said, the service is fantastic and the servers are always kind. They have indoor and outdoor seating although every time I have visited, I've always sat outdoors to fit a larger group. They have portable heaters if it's cold outside. Overall, this place is not usually my go to choice but I don't mind visiting when my friends have strong opinions about visiting here.

This was the best meal I've had in months. Even better since we had our dog with us outside on the comfortable patio. The server was very friendly and was happy to share some of the things going on in the area for the 4th of July. Margaritas were only $5 being a Monday. Coming from Jackson Heights, Queens, I've had some good Peruvian chicken and aji verde. This was just as good as any of those. The tostones were crispy and the murados were sweet and tangy. The ceviche was solid. They also serve good Southern (US) food which I don't get much of in NY. The catfish reminded me of the kind I'd get in Western KY as a kid and the collards were sweet and vinegary.

NEW FAVORITE SPOT. You get such generous portions and the food is excellent. We devoured everything we ordered. The service was standard and we enjoyed sitting on the patio, BUT they have a fly problem and we were shooing away flies constantly. Therefore, we will either eat inside or order to go.

Luna Rotisserie brings Latin American flavors to North Carolina. Appetizer of empanadas and anytime I see carnitas I am going to give them a try. Both were pretty good. However for me, the sauces are the stars of the meal. They add the regional flavor you would expect. The server was very thorough at explaining the menu and options. Plus he gave great recommendations on the sauce pairings.Large open dining area inside. It wasn't too loud but we were there on the traditonally slow Monday. \

While in Carrboro NC stopped in to try Luna.Place did not disappoint, staff was attentive and friendly. Food was good, tasted fresh and served hot. Must say it's been a while since I've had beer and once I saw it was gluten free beer on the menu, and it was really good. If ever in the area this place has good Latin infused foods and it's worth popping in either for the beer or food.

We ate here one Friday night before a show at Cat''s Cradle and it was fantastic. We started with the aquacate which was absolutely amazing. Then I did the chorizo empanadas with grits and collards and all were great. My boyfriend did the chorizo empanada and chicken empanadas with beans and rice and he really liked it but did say chorizo was better. Will definitely be back.

Dear sweet baby llamas yall....this place is so good! I discovered this place while picking up a delivery order and fell in love. I've been a few times to get drinks and just chat it up with the staff while on break. But tonight I had the Assorted Arepas, polenta cakes with pork, chicken, jackfruit, and brisket. Absolutely amazing. I also got a mocktail cuz I was still technically "on the job", a ginger ale concoction that was wonderful. The restaurant has the feel of being part of the neighborhood for years, but from what I gather of my new friends at Luna, it's only been around since 2020. Needless to say, being new to the area it's nice to make new friends and find a new place to be wined and dined. Definitely will be back soon for food, drinks, and new friendships!

Came in at the of end of lunch hour. Very empty. Placed a Togo order. When I got the check first thing I noticed was 7.5% materials fee and then a 3% credit card fee. Then tax and then I left a tip. I'mIn $22 for a $16 bowl. I haven't tried it and now I'm a bit off put. It wasn't that much for a single meal but if you have a big party. That might be something to consider. Now that I've tried it. While I am annoyed by the fees the food itself was definitely worth $16. The only part that wasn't that good was the kale. It tastes unseasoned, just wilted. Has a strong bitter taste that is probably off putting to most. I'd try this place again. But I'd dine in and pay cash
