Luka Restaurant

Was craving a cachapa and found this hidden gem. So glad I did! I ordered a cappuccino ( they have 2 sizes small or large, love this because most restaurants only have regular size) it was really good. I ordered the cachapa with steak and it was delicious. Meat was cooked perfectly and the cachapa was sweet, buttery and cheesy. The service was great & the ambience as well. Super cute spot, will be back for lunch next time i am in the area.

Luka is a gem! The bowl I had (shredded beef) was amazing. Every bite was flavorful. I had the cold green tea and it was also fantastic. With everything being that good, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to try the dessert. The Guava sundae doodad....good grief. I found a new Doral favorite. Well done Luka!

I love this place so much. If you ever find yourself in the South FL Miami area, please take a ride here and have brunch. Their cortados are some of the best in SOFLO. Luka is located about 30 minutes from downtown so it isn't a bad commute, even in the morning with traffic. I strongly recommend the Arepas!

DO NOT COME HERE, WE JUST GOT VIOLENTLY SICK! We ate here this afternoon and after thirty minutes, my fiancé has puked on himself driving home at least four times. I'm on the verge of vomiting and both of us had diarrhea. We had the birra tacos, latte, the cachapa chicharron, and the paisa bowl. Something made us so ill that we couldn't even make it back to our place and had to stop at his poor mother's house looking and feeling (and smelling) like death. We know it's 100% the food and not a stomach bug because we haven't seen each other in over a week. It's such a shame because the food was good and the service was nice too.

Luka is a go to restaurant for me as it's convenient for breakfast, lunch or dinner. They make great bowls and their empanadas and appetizers are super tasty. The capuccino is one of my favorite treats after my meal. Service is very good and ambiance is also nice with the option of indoor or outdoor dining.

Luka is an excellent place for breakfast, lunch, and coffee time! The taste is delicious and they have a perfect mix between the Latin food and exquisite flavor.

i loved this place so much. The restaurant is beautiful and the staff is really friendly. We came with my family and we all enjoyed every plate that was brought to us. The lentil soup was so homey and the lomo saldado was just right! I even asked for extra sauce of how yummy it was. can't wait to return.

Went to meet with some friends at Luka. First time there. We were very late but were assisted quickly by the waiter. My wife and I ordered a limonada de coco, always a good choice for hot days like today!!! For an entree I had the carne asada bowl, it came with the choice of chicken noodle soup or lentils soup. I chose the lentils soup which was good, felt homemade. Then came the carne asada bowl with papas criollas, ripe plantain, and a salad. The meat was soft and big chunks. Everything was really good. My wife had the lomo saltado bowl and it looked delicious (she loved it). But, in my opinion, the star of the show was the coffee! I had the espresso and my wife a cappuccino. OMG! The espresso was dark, and strong, yet smooth and delicious! The place was full which is always a good sign! Will be going back to try some more dishes...and coffee!! recommended!!

I had to make a quick getaway from Miami. I was hungry and started looking at Google Maps for anything close. I'm not a fast food guy, so I came across Luka. What a great find! Not in the most scenic of locations, but don't let that stop you from going in. You'll thank me.I got there around 9 am. There were about 5-6 others there. Most people sat outside. This is a Hispanic business, so don't let that deter you.I first ordered a machiatto. It was served in an oversized cup. The way it should be served. For breakfast, I ordered the Criollo breakfast. It was loaded down with so much. Eggs, arepa, shredded pork, cheese, black beans, potatoes, and sweet plantains. Sounds big, and it is!The machiatto was so good I ordered a second one. The bill at the end was a bit pricey but definitely worth it in my book. Time to check it out if you're in Doral.
