Lucky Village

It's been probably a decade since coming here but the in-laws invited us out and so I was excited to come and check out what a lucky Village in 2023 looks like.First off, still so beautiful inside. The ambience looks elegant but after a while you do start to notice that dirty mess.Service is extremely fast with bringing your drinks out and cleaning up the plates but I think it's just how many people are leaving their trash behind that gets crazy.FOOOOD:Must haves are chicken nuggets (these are wayyy better than any fast food spots), fries, sushi, tilapia, lo mein, general tso, and many people went for the crab and clams so if you like that then I guess go for that too.Dessert was disappointing. There were probably two cake bite options and ice cream (that tasted more like frozen yogurt). I was excited for the mango but it had some extra sweet sour kind of topping that threw me off.I didn't check the reviews before coming bc I've been here before so seeing the amount of people talking down on the broccoli was nerve racking because I totally enjoyed the hell out of the broccoli...but did I inspect it? Noo

This place improved the last time I had it. It's been here a long time? They have totally fresh raw oysters which was my dad's favorite. He got his $$$ worth. Made go back get more cause he felt awful for down almost 30 of them. They put out some huge shrimp too. For the price of $15 all you. An eat is a total deal. I'm definitely coming once a week now with how much it cost to eat out.

I was pleasantly surprised on how good the place was. There's a large variety and everything seemed really fresh. Not always a fan of Chinese buffets, but this one is worth going to. Would recommend it if you're looking for a wide variety also, the service was very good.

We ordered food to go and it was possibly the worst Chinese food (or any food) that we have tasted. We couldn't even eat the Kung Pao Chicken, it was so bad. The problem with to go orders is that there is no recourse. We couldn't ask for another dish or a refund. The only thing we can do is let the public know how bad the food is. Also, the man who took our order was rude to say the least. If you don't want to be, at least, pleasant to your customers, then get out of the hospitality business!

Food was terrible. Tasted old. Service wS awful. Brought our checks while we are still eating and mot even close to dessert yet. People who were putting food into trays were spilling food and putting it back into the trays. Disgusting!! I wish I had pictures of the place, it was awful and dirtyyyyy. Would not recommend this place. Overpriced subpar food.

Homeless man with terrible smell eating at booth close to entrance & buffet. The smell feces & vomit made us so nausea. Management should pack to go food for homeless or street people not allow them into restaurant. This man was behaving intoxicated on drugs and or alcohol. The food is low quality, restaurant is dirty. The dessert section is mixed shrimp mussels and jello, cookies, fried banana. It's not a good layout. Great location. They can do better if these items listed here are improved.

The only thing worse than the food is the service. They charged a 12 year old, disabled child as an adult because she was 5'. There is no sign indicating that they charge by the height and not age outside of a small sticker that they place on the wall when you enter that says "4'10" that, unless you're looking for it, you won't see. Also, charging for height is discrimination!! If someone is a dwarf, or just a short adult, then what?We spoke to the manager to see if anything could be done and he was very rude and offered no help. We had another disabled child with us that didn't eat, but was still charged. This place is terrible and I would warn anyone to RUN in the other direction. There are so many other places in the area that are better service and better prices. Please, I beg you, go there.

This place is pretty great! The vibes are casual. The price is like $16 - $17 for buffet. And some of the food is pretty good. I like the fries, the beef, the butter garlic shrimp, the egg drop soup, and the green beans. The spicy thai soup, the fried rice, the dumplings, and the ice cream are okay. I wouldn't recommend the rice noodles, the crawfish, or the boiled shrimp.

Food was cold and our server took us to the register and checked us out. She asked my husband what tip we wanted to leave and punched it in herself. For 2 people $40 bucks plus tip is not bad but I never had our waitress ask what tip we wanted to leave and then Input it herself. I'm giving two stars because we went back for seconds and the food was alright fresh out the kitchen.

Came to eat here with my 10 year old daughter who is 5ft I am mentioning her height because once I was ready to pay the cashier mention that they charge by HEIGHT not by AGE I was so upset at the discrimination that they allow at this place! This was the first and LAST time I ever step foot in lucky village! Do not come here if your child is tall be prepared to be charged as an adult! What kind of business runs there restaurant like that TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!
