Shout out to Sam who shares his passion about coffee with others!The Papa New Guinea pour over was quite interesting and worth a taste. The surprise of the day was the house blend drip coffee. Nicely balanced and flavorful. This review is purely for coffee without sugar or milk.

Coffee here is really fantastic. I wish I could give a 5 star but the menu is so hard to work with. You cannot add any syrups or flavors unless it's a seasonal flavor? You cannot add any of the LISTED syrups to your drink because it's apparently against policy? Then why do you have the flavors and options listed if I cannot add them to my drink? Super weird and hard to work with if you want any type of flavoring. Would go here more often if the menu actually let you customize your drink.

Always love popping in here for some unique coffee. Staff is friendly. Location is clean and little but of an echo so can get loud when busy.

The service and offer are outstanding the ambience is claustrophobic. Narrow like one of those London pubs that were previously alley

Decided to try the island latte based on other reviews and I was wowed. Have never tried a latte like this before but it was SO GOOD! Coconut milk and pandan flavored-- unique coffee combo for sure but it works so well.Love all the natural lighting in this shop as well and lots of small tables. Will have to street park though as it is connected to an apartment complex. Service was fast and baristas were nice!

I've been to this location and the Richmond Ave location and both are consistently good every time! I've gotten a few of their food items but their drinks are really on point. I've tried their pandan latte and black island latte a few times and loved it. I recently tried the Montblanc and loved it as well! I'm not really sure how they make this drink semi-sweet considering the ingredients in the drink but nonetheless it's an amazing drink that I'll be adding to my rotation. Beware: it has activated charcoal in it...just saying. This location and the Richmond Ave location have scarce parking. I'd avoid going during peak caffeine intake hours which can vary for many people lol.

I very much enjoyed this place. Luce Coffee Roasters serves up great coffee and tasty breakfast tacos. The interior space brings in plenty of outside sunlight and the seating is super comfortable. The shop off Washington is easy to access with plenty of nearby parking. Five stars for great service and coffee.

I'm not a big coffee drinker, but Luce has me reconsidering my life choices. Their coffee is really good!I high recommend the island latte. My Vietnamese soul is really happy that it has pandan! It adds a subtle sweetness that isn't too overpowering similar to most Asian desserts. Luce is my fiancé's favorite coffee shop in Houston, and he is very picky about his coffee. The beans work really well for his home brews.Service was quick and courteous. If I lived in Houston, I would be coming back here regularly.

It's a really nice shop located on Washington. Not as busy as most other shops, so service was quick. I had what may be my new favorite drink called the cream americano... so delicious! And a croissant version of a kolache basically... the place was very clean and decorated in renovated storage area kinda way. They had some neat coffee paraphernalia. I will definitely be going back for other tastes!

This is the second Luce location I've gone to and I absolutely love their drinks and consistent great service. I came here for an afternoon pick me up and the barista recommended the black island latte. It was my first time trying it and I loved it. Definitely some great flavors they have on the menu for coffees and teas, and they also have a few pastries. Service was quick and the baristas are super friendly. They have WiFi to work/study here. There are a decent number of tables and benches inside and a few tables outside as well. The parking can be difficult as it is in this area but there is street parking available. The place is overall very cute and modern and I can't wait to come to try more drinks.
