Lu & Aug's

Delicious ice cream spot in Ardmore! They have very unique speciality ice cream curations and affogato options too. I ordered the Oh Snap! which comes with your base choice (vanilla, chocolate or swirl) with ginger snap crumbles and fudge on top. Really tasty and satisfying! The inside is cute with a handful of table seats. I love that they're open until 10 PM!

Finally stopped in to try some of their ice cream, I was in the mood for a shake. The store is nice and clean with several tables inside and a few outside. I was a bit daunted by the line but it moved quickly. They take your order and you have a seat or wait awkwardly near the door until they call your name. They have a wide variety of toppings and the staff does a great job plating. They were delicately and purposefully putting the cups together making sure they looked great. I ordered a chocolate shake with Oreo and was rather disappointed. The Oreo is pulverized so it's like dust, no little chunks whatsoever and almost hard to tell it was in there at all. The ice cream itself isn't very exciting, but to be fair there are not many soft serve shakes I think highly of(if any), I much prefer hand scooped ice cream. It was also pricey and rather small for about 9$. That's my take as an adult going for a shake. If you have kids I'm sure they will love the many toppings available and would enjoy the experience so check it out.

The ice cream was great, customer service was not. Bought two non-dairy soft serve cones, paid and tipped, walked away to wait for our cones. We get called back over to the register and told we weren't charged the correct price. Thinking we overpaid I was willing to just let it go and said "oh it's okay" to which we were told they didn't charge us ENOUGH and we needed to pay more. It was incredibly awkward (the cashier seemed uncomfortable doing it and the other employee was the one making her do this) and in poor taste, all for an extra $2. Tell the cashier so they know to up-charge for non-dairy next time, and take the "loss".

The place is nice, cute decor, cozy vibe and there some space to sit indoor to enjoy your ice cream.All the staff is nice and fast service. All the ice cream is delicious. I love anything with cheesecake and their strawberry supreme was a bomb.

The ice cream was delicious, as was the brownie, but I'm not sure how I feel about the addition of espresso. It was bitter and didn't really add much for me. I am, however, willing to try some of the other creations here. It's also a really cute place in a spot with parking. Though parking was kind of hard to find on a warm night.I will return. It was a nice spot for the kiddos.

The presentation, flavors rotations, location, and number of toppings are perks of this ice cream shop. The service was also great. However, the ice cream flavor itself was nothing special. I will say we stuck with more traditional flavors, at some places the ice cream speaks for itself. Would not necessarily say that here. The ice cream is also quite pricy, I think we paid around $14 for the Affogato and the vanilla s'mores Sunday. Was brought in by their instagram and seeing all the neat flavors, but ultimately, likely would not return due to the price and plain tasting ice cream--especially with other options nearby

It's good. And the people there are really cute because they focus so hard on making the ice cream beautiful the one girl had her tongue sticking out focusing when she was putting the Carmel sauce on. Awe lol. I think tho that it's probably rly depends on what u order. I feel like i could've ordered something tastier

Love this soft serve. Interesting mix of flavors and mix ins - got the Glam Jam once (honey, pistachio, cardamom & saffron, chai dust) and Chocoholic once (hot fudge brownie, chocolate sauce, cocoa powder, cookie crumbs). Definitely very rich. Will say, definitely on the pricey side for a "specialties" dessert, but can be easily shared between 2 people. Also offers a 15% student discount. Soft serve alone without toppings is about $5. Staff explain things well and are happy to offer pointers. Cute vibe with lots of funky pop art. Open late until 10pm most days!

Five stars for the epic chocolate and coffee options, and five stars delicious ice cream and other desserts. Combine the two together like you would in one amazing affogato and I wish I could give Lu & Aug's a worthy ten stars!I've been curious about checking out Lu & Aug's since it opened over the summer. But it took a discussion about their decadent-sounding hot chocolate options and some generous coupons sent in the mail for me to get a group together for a proper try. And it beyond satisfied my sweet tooth!Whether you its a simple single flavor with one topping or going swirl and overboard on toppings, soft serve ice cream is easily one of the best simple pleasures in life. And my chocolate & vanilla swirl with caramel sauce, marshmallows, and graham cracker crumble was a lovely treat! I also respect that they have a vegan soft-serve ice cream for vegan and lactose-intolerant people.Hot chocolate was the main thing that brought us together, and between us, our table was very enamored with our Mexican drinking chocolate, lavender hot chocolate, and salted caramel hot chocolate. My salted caramel one was perfectly sweet when it needed to be with just the right amount of heat. It was also cool to see them carry that vegan trend forward with a plant-based hot chocolate.Toss in coffee from Ox, donuts from Yori's Church Street, Cookies from Famous 4th Street, and then some, and Lu & Aug's gives plenty of reasons to enjoy it that go beyond ice cream. And that's why I'm ready to go back for a Pecan Bacon Brittle soft serve ice cream, dirty chai affogato, and then some!

This is an amazing ice cream and coffee place. There is a variety of ice cream flavors that are unique. Everything looks so good. The coffee is flavorful and bold. The service was very friendly. The space is intimate. I recommend coming here, especially for a date night.P. S. They have 4th Street cookies. Yum
