I wanted to like this place so much more but the food (pulled pork sandwich) just wasn't good. The pulled pork sandwich had potential but it tasted old and wasn't tender. The staff is friendly but it didn't make up for sub mediocre food. Wouldn't recommend until food improves

Absolutely the worst brisket dinner I have ever been served. Fat, grizzle, grease, no meat at all. Potato salad was garbage. Five slices of wonder bread for what? To fill the space in the to-go box? Baked beans were only thing worth eating. So I paid nearly $15.00 for sweet tea and baked beans. I'm a trucker and know good BBQ. This definitely ain't even close to edible food.

Love this spot! Everyone who works there is pleasant. They make the food fresh so wait times are longer but they will tell you that upfront. My only wish is they were open more days in the week. Haha

I really wish that I could rate this place higher because I want to support a neighborhood business. That said....the contributors for the mediocre score are wait time & less than stellar sides. I've been a couple times & the wait times are consistently long when no one else is waiting but me. I've ordered the ribs,which are very meaty ,tasty & tender. The sauce is tangy & adds to the flavor but there is no smokiness taste. I tried the smoked chicken and was disappointed in the dryness. The collards were good but full of stems. Potato salad is not worth the time. Cornbread muffins are very dense . Other than the meatiness of the ribs & tanginess of the sauce , the peach cobbler is worth a taste.

I truly think the only reason why this place is still open is because there is not another place in the immediate area. I try to help this place win. But I officially give up. Most true bbq grill masters would not allow themselves to sell dry burnt rib tips and why is the smoked chicken tough? Hello... if it's smoked it should be ever so tender. I only had 2 wings and could barely eat 1. It's not worth the calories and I rather eat my cheez its and go to bed. Btw 2 stars is only because 1 rib tip made it through the fire and didn't get burnt. That star is for him, because he made it.

I'm being generous with the number of s I'm giving this business. I've tried 3 times to support this establishment. They sell breakfast, and if you are familiar with bouldercrest then you know there aren't a lot of options aside from Hardee's who has a grade of 79! This business is SLOW, overcharge, no jelly, can't operate a square machine, microwaves your food and the bread is stale! You WILL be late for work! And by the way.... I even call in my order and it's still NEVER ready! I'm done! NEVER EVER again!

Portions were small for the price. I ordered the rib tips and got beef brisket instead. The favor was ok but I was disappointed. I wanted RIB TIPS. Will not go back.

6/18/21: Yesterday I ordered a barbeque middle rib sandwich. OMG, it was double-d!! Owner informed me the new grill master started 3 week ago and he's earning his keep. Ribs were very meaty, seasoned to perfection, & extremely tender. Bread was fresh, slaw was good too. I also liked their sweet, mild, & hot barbeque sauces on the side. The wait was about 20 minutes which I didn't mind because it was worth wait & worth every nickel. I'll remain a frequent customer.

This place is disgusting ! We waited 20 minutes for over-seasoned cold tough BBQ that taste like it was left in a warmer. The cashier was nice but i wouldd not recommended ! Waist of $20 lol and $5 for a slice of pie y'all trippin lol
