Lovely, intimate, neighborhood vibe that feels like it's in a small town in Greece! Wonderful waiter & kitchen that was accommodating for this diner with celiac (gluten allergy). Had the shrimp & rice, & the salad with tomatoes & feta. Everything delish! Will visit again.

Food was absolutely delicious. My husband ordered Mousaka, and i got a Gyro. IT took a while for it to come out, but it seems like that is because the Mousaka was made from scratch when we ordered and baked in the individual dish. Totally worth the wait. Our waiter was not great. He seemed annoyed to have to wait on us, but he did refill our water regularly. He just didn't make any eye contact or engage us in any way other than basically nodding at our order and maybe an MmHmm in response. He seemed to be the only server on staff that night, but it wasn't busy. Only 3 or 4 tables seated the whole time we were there (including us). But we had a nice enjoyable meal and like i said, the food was superb. Oh one other thing. the prices on the website were old and the actual prices were about 25% higher.

We hadn't dined here since before the pandemic & the food just wasn't as good although service is top notch. The dips & pita remain delicious & shrimp was cooked well. But the rice pilaf was just a bland & wet plain rice & the calamari was dry & overcooked (albeit not greasy, which is a plus).

Disclaimer: I picked up food for lunch, so am not familiar with the dinner menu or service outside of grabbing a to-go order. I tried calling into Lourdas for a quick lunch order - but the line was consistently busy over a 15-20 minute period, so I stopped in. I ordered a large salad and the lunch lamb sandwich special. For a lunch, it was expensive, $27 and they are cash only (which I didn't know walking into the restaurant). The salad, while still a bit pricey in my eyes, was delicious- the feta was simply the best feta I've ever had. I was really pleased with the salad. The lamb sandwich was also good, but very chunky - the pieces of lamb were large and that made some difficult to bite through. Some pieces will well seasoned, some left something to be desired. It did come with these fries that were seasoned with what I can only call a bit of heaven. I was a bit obsessed with them. My summary? I'd try it again, maybe not for lunch since the prices felt like dinner prices. It's definitely worth popping into, but if there is something else striking your fancy, maybe go there first?

Went last night, August 29. The food was not as good as it's been in the past. Additionally, if you consult the menu on line before you go, be prepared for sticker shock when you look at the menu in the restaurant. The menu was identical to the website except for the prices. However, entrees were about $7 - 8 more; appetizers about $5 - 6 more. The manager explained that the website has been up for 10 years. Obviously food prices have risen. However, it should be incumbent on the manager/owner to have a website that accurately describes food and prices. The manager accomodated us by splitting the difference. However, we will not go back.

Amazing meal! Everything perfect. Started with calamari which was just about the best I've ever had. Lamb chops and moussaka were perfect. Can't wait to go back!

We were able to secure a 7:15 reservation for two on a Friday night on a hour's notice. The table was available but not yet set when we arrived on time, as the host (friendly and efficient) was bringing out a series of take-out orders. Our wait was short, though, and from there everything went perfectly. The restaurant was full but did not feel overcrowded or too noisy. The waiter was friendly, efficient and well-informed. He even offered us a choice of wine glass styles for our bottle (Lourdas is BYOB). We shared a "small" Horiatiki salad (plenty for two, with remarkably fresh tomatoes, considering it was January) and the Kalamari (fried squid) appetizer, which was well made but could have been tastier. The main courses arrived soon after we finished out appetizers; neither early nor too late. One of us had the shrimp (a house specialty) -- which was terrific -- and the other, the Moussaka, which was hearty and tasty, but (like the squid) could have been more flavorful. The servings were generous but not overwhelming. Although tempted by the baklava-flavored ice cream, we were too full to try any dessert. Total cost around $85 (cash only) plus tip. All in all, a very nice night out for a special occasion. We're likely to return some time.

We were forced to wait in the cold in winter as no place to stand as you enter nor no greeting. It was bizarre noone in sight. Others as we stood awkwardly waiting for host? were outside standing. The place so small the noise became deafening. The server served up a snarky comment when the gyros were so awful two of us couldnt eat them. My husband wasted his politeness on this indifferent guy and said, would you respectfully remove the gyro it was inedible. The guy said I ALREADY said Id remove it from the bill ,not unlike a bratty rude person who appears to hate his job. We were so kind and patient and didnt deserve his fat induced wrath. Oh he offered that it was our fault essentionally for the repulsive inedible lamb gyro as we should have known its fatty. Ok captain know it all, sorry but all of us have eaten many places and bad food isnt explained away. It was gristle ( a cheap cut of lamb) in the gyro and to scold us into submission that it was our fault was not fun. If this is family owned this server /manager/ whatever isnt family . If he is he needs mom to give him a spank and apologize not to educate why the food is awful. The service awful by captain i hate my job . The lambchops were very good. The fries good but beware the dreaded lamb gyros. They need to up their game in food quality and in better service. The hummus creamy and the portion generous. It wasnt very flavorful. Not bad. The mousaka was good. Not as flavorful as other greek places but it was a very good attempt. If you dont mind freezing outside, having defensive servers who tell you its fault for inedible food, have fries or lambchops and wear noise canceling headsets.

Our waiter was wonderful. The restaurant was charming and the moussaka had a burnt flavor throughout. The béchamel topping had burnt spots which would be ok except that the flavor permeated through in the casserole itself. Left a bad taste in our mouths.
