We grabbed these bowls before heading on our train back to NYC, and it was lowkey one of the (if not THE) best thing we ate during our trip?Service/ambiance: There were 2 other people in the store with us, so we only waited around 10 minutes for the food to be made after ordering. Considering it seems like they cooked and assembled it on the spot that was nice! It's a lowkey spot with some bar-style seating so I think it'd be great for a quick, casual bite. Food: The bowl with chicken definitely had more meat than the bulgogi bowl - so note that in case you're trying to get the most food! Loved the mix of veggies with rice and meat. It felt like a well balanced meal with a lot of flavor! The portion for the price was definitely good - it made me wish we had similar offerings in NYC (if you know of something similar let me know!!!)

Great little placed w/ decently priced bowls. I ordered the bulgogi bowl with extra sweet gogujang sauce. The bowl was pretty big as I was not able to finish it all. The beef was tender and tasty. The veggies were fresh and not wilted. I also had the lotus green tea which was also very good, but a little too sweet. Overall, it was very good and filling. For those looking for a sit down restaurant, this is not it. They only had about 6 bar chairs and small area where you can sit to eat. So, keep that in mind if you decide to eat here.

I mean this as a compliment, but the food here reminds me of a VERY elevated mall food experience. I've had the spicy Korean BBQ pork bowl boxed lunch from here about 2-3 times now and I have still not gotten tired of it. The bbq pork is amazing! It's tender and it's cut into the most perfect bite sized pieces with the perfect grill to it. The gochujang sauce is a key player in this bowl, as it marinates not only the meat but also gives the noodles a bit more flavor. I also really like the fresh and crunchy contrast that the other toppings provide. I think for the price you pay, it's also a good portion size. Typically, leftover food from takeout doesn't do great when heating it up the next day but this is far from the truth when it comes to Lotus test kitchen. I heated it up on a pan and all the flavors were enhanced, with the noodles and chicken getting a glazy texture and flavor to it. I want to try other bowls, but I also love the BBQ bowl too much to take a chance

Ordered teriyaki tofu bowls and the tofu was rubbery, the noodles were fine, the juxtaposition of Kale with the hot noodles was a little odd. Given many of the prior good reviews this may have been an off night. I hope.

I grabbed food from here while I was visiting Boston and it was probably one of my favorite fast casual food. I just needed something that we could just grab after a long day of walking and this place was perfect. The place is small so it's more of a pickup and eat at home place. The service was great and we were able to watch them make our food right there. I had the bulgogi bowl with a lot of fun add ons. Definitely get a bunch of stuff in your bowl.

Theyre aight. Good for a quick lunch at the office but the bowls don't feel wholly cohesive to me, as an Asian. The salad feels slapped on, where I'm not used to my salad sort of being tossed directly onto the hot rice and meats. I feel the salad warms up in an unpleasant way, but it's a consistent lunch option if you work in the area

3.5-4.0More of a takeout place, but there is seating space in there if you want to eat it right away. Spicy Korean BBQ Beef bowl (with noodles) = delicious. Would get again and/or try one of the other bowls. Many customization options - so I asked the staff what they recommended and that was very helpful. Bao bun (pork belly) = meh. But I'm also not the biggest pork belly fan. The bun itself isn't the best I've had.

This hidden gem right outside the DTX station is such an amaze-bomb. I've tried every single food bowl of their options and there hasn't been any that had sub par quality. Amazing taste with amazing quality and quantity and on top of that, super healthy, at an amazing price. It's so hard to find that checks off quality, quantity, healthiness, taste AND cost yet here exists! You get to choose either rice or noodle for your carbs, some marinated meat, tofu or fish for protein, and they come with variety of veggies. They all come in their amazing dressing. Food is made fresh at the moment you order it!:) I always feel so welcomed whenever I walk in. Every staff has been so kind. It doesn't have a huge seating area, but a few chairs and bar seating like setting along the wall. It's an open kitchen and they keep everything so clean and neat. Im a huge fan and will always come back whenever I can!!! Def recommend to everyone!!!

This place is an atrocity to claim Korean cuisine, but it's run by a Chinese owner. I don't understand why they sell "Beef bulgogi" when they don't even use the proper cut of meat for Bulgogi. It literally tasted like the weirdly tender thick cuts of meat you find in Beef & Broccoli at any old Chinese takeout place. And it was sweet (again, not in any way remotely tasting like Bulgogi sauce or kBBQ), they threw some weird sriracha mayo-looking sauce on top, even though I remember specifically requesting the Gochujang sauce. It was also a weird mix of throwing all these random veggies + condiments in the rice bowl that you would never find in Korean food - it's not even remotely close to Bibimbap. It was very inauthentic and I can't recommend it. There was a like a mayo kale cabbage slaw, corn, kimchi, mung bean sprouts, I can't remember what random hodge podge. The sliced radish tasted like it was about spoiled. The other weird part is they have it set up like Chipotle for the condiments which looks like it was just sitting out all day and then there's a separate guy that cooked the meat to order on a flat top grill, but I didn't watch them doing this.

What a great hole-in-the-wall fast casual place with fresh, delicious ingredients and generous portion sizes.I got the shrimp teriyaki bowl with kale mix, which was a delicious, balanced meal that left me feeling full but not overly stuffed. My friend got the pork belly bowl with noodles, both of which were incredibly soft, flavorful, and cooked perfectly.Like another reviewer said, the flavors are similar to food court lo mein in a good way: comfort food fast casual style! It took about ten minutes from ordering to getting our food on a weekday evening, and we got to see them making our proteins and noodles on the griddle.
