A hidden GEM.I have been living in Miami for 26 years and this place has not changed its quality of food or service. It's remarkable to see how this family business is still in the same prominent area of Miracle Mile in Coral Gables. Their food is amazing, delicious and fresh. The restaurant needs some renovations but to me I go there for the food. Our family enjoys it all the time. The portions are perfect for two people. So if you are craving for Thai food, this is the place to go. It never disappoints me.

What an amazing local place that has been in the Gables for decades. Swatty works the front and his sister works the kitchen. These are authentic recipes from their family heritage. The place is retro and eclectic. I go with the red curry and a protein. You can't go wrong with that one. Spring rolls and the steamed dumplings are always a fan favorite appetizer.

I have always walked by this place but did not realize this was thai food up until recently. I came here to enjoy their lunch specials, which was actually so delicious. With inflation the way it is in 2023, the prices are higher than what I was expecting based on menu prices, but overall I still think this was a good deal as all entrees come with a salad. The peanut salad was small but very yummy, and I am glad they had that as an option in addition to the ginger salad. I ordered a curry which was absolutely so delicious, perfect spice, and perfect crunch to the vegetables. Service was good.The place is a bit outdated, but I don't care as they are serving the BEST thai food on Miracle Mile

I've been going to Lotus since I was literally born 30 years ago. It's my favorite local place, best food, best staff. Swadee, the owner, is always so nice and knows our order by heart. Their food has never changed in the 30 years I've been going and been just as great as day 1. I always get the jumping shrimp, fried rice (any: steak, chicken, shrimp), Thai donuts (best in Miami in my opinion), ginger beef, Tom yum soup, and it's all the best. Will always keep going to Lotus. Only reason I don't have pictures is because I've literally gone since I was basically born lol

The search for mind-blowing Thai food in the greater Miami area continues.Lotus Garden is not bad; it's decent food. But it's not great. It's not someplace I would go to a second time. I realize that the Miami area is predominantly Latin/Hispanic, but a person would still think that phenomenal Thai food in a city this size would not be hard to find. No doubt there is some exceptionally delicious Thai food somewhere around here, but I have not found it yet. I always go with some sort of fried rice for my first visit to any Thai restaurant, and this was no exception. I would have preferred pineapple fried rice, but that was not an option. So I went with regular old pork fried rice. The list of ingredients was rather sparse, and the flavor was just OK. It needed a good bit of Sriracha sauce and pepper powder to liven it up.On the bright side, the staff was very pleasant; no complaints about them.

Long time favorite place to go. Long time customer of 25 years plus. Never disappointed, great food and friendly family service.

My wife and I are regulars here - I have absolutely no idea why some gave this lower (some people are just haters and never happy). I've been all over Thailand and this is as authentic as you'll find in the States. Food is phenomenal- we've eaten here 30+ times and never had a bad meal. The service is second to none. We usually bring a bottle of wine and have an amazing date night every time . For the people complaining about the decoration- seriously ? That's the neighborhood charm about it. It's for locals - that's the point. Would recommend whole heartedly without reservation

Food is really authentic and delicious. I had the green curry with chicken. It was very creamy, flavorful and a little spicy. Try the mild if you can't handle the heat. The service is very friendly and they take good care of you. Ambiance is welcoming. Come and eat here.

The food and service were great! Thanks Luke, for listening to my palate profile and making the recommendations that we loved! The ambiance was great because we were the first ones there for a good hour before others arrived and it was like a private dining experience. We had the dumplings (fried) and they were excellent! We also had the chicken lettuce wraps, salad, shrimp fried rice, scallops and fried cheesecake. It was all delicious! I certainly don't have a sweet tooth but even I was impressed with the dessert. We were pleased and can't wait to return. Enjoy!

This place has been around as long as I can remember. That alone speaks to how good the food is. When an establishment has been open as long as this one has clearly they're doing something right. Food is true authentic Thai and absolutely delicious. They have great specials ranging in price from $12 - $15 and include your choice of soup or salad plus your choice of white or brown rice. Service is on point and extremely fast! The only reason I give it four stars is that it looks exactly as it always has which was great 10+ years ago but now it's looking kind of dingy and old.
