Lost Pines Bar-B-Que

The food was great. If you're not a bbq person, the darkness of the meat exterior will fool you. However, It is amazing ! The sides didn't disappoint either, I had the Parsley potatoes and Green Beans. The staff was friendly and nice to an "out-of-towner". I highly recommend this eatery to anyone with a palate for real BBQ.

Quality of the ingredients could be turned up a notch or two as well as throwing in some flavor.Used styrofoam for everything. Don't believe we'll be stopping here again.

Wow! The brisket sandwich, potato salad, sweet tea and chocolate oatmeal bar HIT the spot for a drive by lunch! You can even call your order ahead of time! The staff was grateful and friendly.They should play a little music in the background for effect!

I did not like the flavor of the brisket or the barbecue sauce. Not sure what wood they are using to smoke the meat. I did not like it. Beans were not good. Buttermilk pie was good.

Pork ribs ok, bland brisket and watery bbq sauce. Skip sides. Disgusting bathrooms.We should have waited until Elgin to stop?

Stopped by on our way through town and was not disappointed! I had the brisket sandwich. Portions were generous. The sides were not remarkable, but were good. The bbq sause had just the right amount of heat to it. Yes, the food was served in styrofoam - but who cares when the food is good !!!

We were considering the fast food choices, and then saw this bbq place...yum! We had a sausage sandwich and a chopped beef sandwich; both were delicious. They had fast friendly service, and the restaurant was clean.
