Wow for the portions they serve you here, the prices are amazing! Service was also very fast and thorough. The ambience is fun and casual. Definitely my go too for Mexican around here.

Lived here for a long time and only about 5 minutes away so some friends invited us to meet up there and just catch up. We were seated quickly and in a booth as requested. The place was hopping. The bar was full and the whole vibe was good. Our friends knew the server from before so I was expecting the service to be exceptional. Salsa and chips immediately arrived. And they gave us two large bowls of it. We are on to a great start! The salsa was delish too. Then our server arrived. He never announced his name, but was tall and bald and stood out from the rest of the staff. He seemed like a nice guy but seemed to always be in a rush- like too much going on to even finish our order kind of rush. In fact, that's exactly what happened. When I ordered, I was literally emphasizing that I do NOT want sour cream and he interrupted me to go the next person. Like, "got that already, next" energy. I had to repeat myself bc I could tell he didn't LISTEN to what I said. I still was dismissed it seemed. Three of us gave our orders and the fourth, my husband, was getting ready to say his and even had a question and our server WALKED AWAY while he was turning his page on the menu to find his item to order. Guess he wasn't ordering fast enough. Finally the server came back after a few seconds (no apology or explanation of why he abruptly left mid-orders) and we placed the final order. Food arrived at different times-not good when it's one party eating together. No biggie though. Finally, my order arrived last-WITH sour cream. He didn't even check on us! Thankfully my husband likes sour cream and took mine. But it was the principle. It was alllllllll over the guacamole which I love and couldn't enjoy bc our server didn't listen and follow through on getting my order correct. It was very simple. No sour cream. That's it! To top it off, he didn't check in on us. No refills of drinks. No chips or salsa refills. NOTHING. I understand things can be hopping especially if you've been sat multiple parties at once, but you can easily inform your patrons of that so we can understand the dynamic. However, he just seemed not to care about our table as much. And what's interesting is our friends said they really have liked him as he has waited on them several times before. I was very disappointed in his (lack of) customer service and attention. However, the food?? Chef's kiss!!!! Not sure it's worth going back for if we still get that same lack of service from the waitstaff, though.

Pleasantly surprised by how much I loved my food here. Very large menu with something for everyone.I got the ACP with Chorizo. DANG when they say covered in cheese sauce they mean covered in cheese sauce. Think of this as the perfect cheat meal. The rice alone was flavorful. The chicken and chorizo perfect and the combo of that with the queso in a tortilla... it's what dreams are made of! My sister ordered the Flautas de Pollo and she also complimented how yummy the food was. We came on a Sunday around 7pm and the restaurant was quite busy for a Sunday. I think our server was trying their best but it took quite a while for us to get drink refills, our food and we had also ordered an appetizer of queso that never came. It was still left on the bill but was later rectified once pointed out.Interior is decent sized for Raleigh. It felt very festive and I loved the amount of booths they have for seating. A pretty good experience.4.4/5

Great place. Ive been going here for years now and I love it. The food is good, and so is the ambiance. It really feels like an authentic Mexican restaurant. However, my favorite part of this restaurant is the employees. They're super polite and always kind and welcoming. Food is good, prices are good, and wait time is good. You usually won't have to wait for a table, but if you do it won't be a long time. Definitely recommend. Great place!

Worst Mexican food I have ever eaten. Cold chips, veggies fajitas were flavorless. Inattentive waitress. Had to ask for more napkins and water refill. Big servings for cheap price. Not my choice to attend. Was in a group & the person paying for the meal was on a tight budget. I guess this product is the standard here in NC. In California, there's an abundance of high quality Mexican restaurants to choose from. Would not go back or recommend this place to anyone.

Visited here several times and the food has always been good. Went for lunch today and the food was horrible. The chips were not fresh, the salsa was average at best and the cheese dip had no flavor - very runny! I had the ACP chicken - the chicken was terrible - some was tough and rubbery. I have felt blah since eating lunch there. Very disappointed to pay $43 for a lunch that was not good. Last shot for this restaurant- too many other good restaurants out there. Even the coke was bad

Food was good. Big portions. Great customer service & authentic Mexican atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

I'm from Southern California and a week after arriving, we came here for dinner. When the food arrived, it was so bad my son and I couldn't eat it, it was bland and just terrible. Our plates were pretty much untouched and I had to flag the waiter over for check and he didn't mention anything about out our full plates and charged full price. I paid and will never go back, can't believe anyone calls this Mexican food.

The food is good but not good enough to come back when the customer service is as awful as it was the couple of times I've been. There's no reason you should walk into an establishment and none of the workers say anything to you. It took 10 minutes for someone to come up and say "How can I help you?". Meanwhile several workers walked past me and looked me in my face and I got no acknowledgment. To be clear..it wasn't even busy in the restaurant when I came in. Utterly ridiculous, I won't be back.
