One word incredible. The food, steak fajitas were melt in your mouth. The service was exceptional and friendly. The ambiance was up scale Mexican food. The margaritas were one of the best I've ever had. The sopapillas were TO DIE FOR! Will definitely return when in Katy.

Everything about this place was great! We went on a Friday night and the crowd was nice. We ordered the top shelf frozen margaritas, which were incredible and very strong. For dinner we ordered the carne guisada and enchiladas verdes. Soo delicious! This was some of the best Mexican food I have ever had. Very nice place for families, couples or friend groups. There is a bar at the back of the restaurant so you can sit in the high top chairs and watch the games. Restaurant and bathrooms were all super clean. And the wait staff were all very nice and friendly. We will absolutely be back!

If you've been searching for the perfect breakfast taco, your hunt is over. Los Perez Mexican Restaurant is a new restaurant that I decided to check out. After having tried numerous breakfast tacos at different places, I can attest these stand out! I placed a to-go order for potato, egg, and cheese tacos on corn tortillas. They did not disappoint-wow! They tasted like the ones my grandma used to make! I normally don't eat the complimentary chips and salsa, but today I compliment them. I've gotta say, their red and green salsas are addictive. They were both fresh and savory. I can tell Los Perez Mexican Restaurant values quality in their cooking.

5 stars for.....I only stopped in to check out a new spot and see if the chips salsa were good & if they had a decent happy hour....not only are they good, but also - they got all day happy hour Monday & Tuesday!! Wowza - this will be a nice spot to stop after work to get my mind right or to take the fam to fill up near the house & get back to being lazy at home.I didn't get any entree so my rating is strictly for happy hour / chips salsa / customer service. I'm a fan. I took a pic of happy hour / back of bar menu. Not bad. Plus it's new, nice and clean.

First time at this restaurant today with my husband. We had the nachos, and margaritas. Both were great!! The Nachos were delicious! We ordered them half chicken and half beef to share and they don't disappoint on flavor. Happy hour is ALL DAY! Margaritas were strong so take your time. We got blended. I would recommend this Gem to any and everyone. We will be back!

Decent food but nothing special. I believe it would scratch your Mexican food itch if you couldn't find anything else but I've had way better. Service attentive and ambiance okay.

The Good: The service was good. Everyone that we came in contact with was well trained and very helpful. One can be trained for many things, but good customer service depends on a very aware and detailed oriented human being. A combo fajita (beef/ chicken) dish, the chicken was very tasty and the texture was surprisingly moist and soft. The bad or at least subpar: the basic test for me are cheese enchiladas. But I went with beef fajita enchiladas. Great enchiladas have connective ingredients that bring everything together, everything is cooked evenly, melted cheese, and a generous, but delicate blanket of enchilada sauce. This particular time, the chunky beef was lukewarm, the flour tortillas were the same temperature, leaving the enchilada sauce as the main source to heating or keeping warm the enchiladas. What stood out was the stoutness of the enchilada sauce. It was as thick or thicker than nacho cheese. This is definitely a tricky balance to achieve, I understand, but should always be the goal in any professional kitchen. Reheated, was what my palate floated to my mind. The parrilla beef fajita suffered from being overcooked. It was semi-seasoned, and chewy. Again, the chicken breast that joined it was very flavorful and tender, so something was not consistent.Despite this, these "mom and pops" I am a big fan of and I support them, so we will return and hope the next time little tweaks will lead to a better balanced entree experience.
